The person who was dealing with our request was helpful and answered all our questioons fully and was very informif with every thing we asked.

Having expected a long drawn out phone conversation to set up insurance for a 4 day holiday on behalf of my daughter, I had a nice surprise. The questions were short and to the point and did not require detailed answers at all. I have yet to receive the documents in the post as promised however but that is probably the fault of the post.

I only gave them 3 stars as the first person I spoke to was very helpful getting me the travel insurance I needed but said she couldn’t help me with setting up my account in the internet phoned later to have my information posted spoke to a gentleman that spent ages with me and helped me get online I’m 78 and not a whizz on the internet so occasionally need a little help

I have used BMC (British Mountaineering Council) Insurance for numerous years to cover trips to many remote and mountainous locations. Until this year, I had never needed to make a claim, but then when I had an accident in the French Alps, their reputation for excellent coverage proved entirely justified. I called the claim line and was put through to a specialist centre who made all the arrangements to fly me home the next day. I then made a claim for the medical expenses I had incurred in France and the next trip I had booked but was now unable to undertake. Both claims were handled by Rory at PJ Hayman in a prompt, friendly and professional manner, including a call to clarify some questions I had on completing the claim form questions. Nothing about my recovery home and subsequent claims could have been handled any better. Highly satisfied with the service provided!

I have used Adventures insurance before for a 2 month cycling trip, so turned to them again for another shorter trip. Website was easy to use to select the activities I need to be covered for, enter medical info and proceed to payment. I had one query arising, which was handled rapidly over the phone.

PJ Hayman were great when I had to cancel a climbing holiday following a family bereavement. I made a claim on my BMC insurance and they dealt with it compassionately and promptly. They made my claim in full (minus the policy excess) within a few days. I was very impressed.

Simple to get a price to cover ONLY a sporting activity not covered by my annual travel insurance.
The range of sports covered was impressive - most companies don't cover "Gliding "qualified pilot".
Once I was happy with the cover the process of purchasing was simple.
