Massive queues for security checks; hour and a half just to reach the checking area, which itself was chaotic. This was midday on a Monday in September, God knows how it was in mid-summer with families? Queueing on an external staircase for 40 mins to get on the plane wasn’t great either. An exhausting and disappointing experience altogether.

Massive queues everywhere, people missing flights due to airport security not being able to process everyone. Nowhere to sit, standing room only after security. Terminal is massively undersized for the number of flights. This was a Monday afternoon, 15th September, so not even school holidays.

SCANDALOSO!!!!!!!!! gente seduta per terra senza aria condizionata, prezzi e costi da capogiro, penso che bisogna chiuderlo!!!!

Aeroporto troppo piccolo per il traffico di passeggeri che supporta. Vergognoso non trovare posti a sedere. È mortificante vedere persone anche con con handicap, cercare disperatamente un posto per sedersi. Bisogna chiedere la cortesia a qualcuno di alzarsi. Prezzi esosi per molti prodotti che si vendono. Il più brutto aeroporto visto fino ad oggi.

If could give no stars would ques everywhere for everything poorly organised for vol of traffic people flying should be advised to arrive 3hrs or more to get through security line, no one policing security line to stop skippers which disrupted a lot too

Queues everywhere. Queue to check in. Queue for security. Queue for passport. No time to even look at the shops or grab a coffee due to all the queues. Staff surly at best.

If I could give it no stars I would. I am one of a number of travellers who have found ourselves stuck here owing to tomorrow’s national train strike. We have all been turfed out of the terminal building to an outside cafe with no facilities which is open to the elements, and there are are some women and children amongst us. At the very least you would have thought that we could have remained inside in an area set aside for us, but no, the authorities and their security guards couldn’t care less.
We had no choice but to come early as we wouldn’t have made our flight, and if we had we would have got no compensation from Ryanair.
Call yourself an ‘International’ airport? What a joke!
You are every bit as bad as the unions who called the train workers out on strike. A third world country would have treated us better. I am thoroughly disgusted.

Aereoporto pessimo non è possibile che manchi l'assistenza di trasporto oggi dovevamo partire alle 16:20 sono le 17:50 e siamo ancora qua ogni volta sempre la stessa storia dico che questo è un aereoporto disorganizzato che poi tutto questo per colpa dei pulman mancanti 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️davvero assurdo non è manco la prima volta che capita io atterro in questo aereoporto quasi sempre ed è sempre uguale davvero una vergogna

Questo aeroporto è pessimo. Se ci fossero -5 stelle gliele darei. È troppo piccolo per tutti i passeggeri che ospita, l’aria non circola, non ci sono servizi, i bagni sono sporchi, l’aeroporto è vecchio e non aggiornato. esperienza terribile, il nostro volo era in ritardo di 3 ore e sono state le tre ore peggiori mai passate in aeoroporto. Comune di Pisa, AGGIORNATI!

Un aereoporto con pochissimi posti a sedere rispetto al numero di persone in attesa, con pochi negozi e prezzi elevatissimi.

Shame it’s not possible to give a Zero rating. Despite the wealth pouring into Tuscany, this is without doubt the worst airport ever visited. It hasn’t even seen a lick of paint in twenty years, staff actually go out of their way to be as unhelpful as possible and the place is totally disorganised, without any decent seating for even half the people using it.
AVOID

10,000 people, 3 toilets per standard gender, 1 cafe, 1 shop - what could go wrong - except delays and more people!
Pay extra and fly from / to a different airport - Pisa airport is 3rd world at best!
Only the Italians 🤦‍♂️ could fook up something so Simple as customer service and loose ££££££ in revenue opertunity 🤐

Absolute nightmare flying out of Pisa, negative end to a fantastic the trip to Italy.

The departures area air side is seriously overcrowded, with 2 passengers to every seat. People sat everywhere on the floor. I wouldn't come through security until you have to.

Aereoporto da bandire. Il personale al controllo dei documenti non sa neanche cosa sta facendo, oltre al fatto che non eccelle per voglia di lavorare ed educazione.
Vige un disagio e una disorganizzazione impressionante.
Abbiamo rischiato di perdere l’aereo perche’surprise surprise loro hanno deciso che chi vuole viaggiare in Irlanda (Paese europeo) deve fare il controllo passaporto come per i paesi che non lo sono. Cosa che scopri solo quando ti incammini al gate (al piano superiore) e scopri che c’e’ una fila interminabile gestite da una ragazzina maleducata e da 2 poliziotti Altrettanto maleducati e ignoranti. Al ritorno, una volta scesi dall’aereo stessa cosa, controllo passaporto e anche questa volta veniamo trattati come un mandrio di mucche. Consiglio vivamente di cambiare regime per non far fare all’Italia una figura barbina agli occhi dei turisti stranieri… siete pessimi..ho visto le facce degli irlandesi schifate…mi sono vergognata ancora una volta di essere italiana.

Disgraceful , too many people , I couldn’t climb a stairs as it was full of people sitting on them , I went up the escalator and almost collided with people at the top of it as there was no space to move , other people described it as a zoo , it is a horrible ending to a trip for anyone , I’m a regular flyer and have never put an airport view up before so if you have other options please take them

Departures - Delays, lack of seating, overcrowded, limited facilities, over flowing bins. Stood up for nearly 3 hours as flight was delayed. The shuttle bus from car rental to airport was dangerous. No way you can keep standing while the driver is swinging round the route like he’s on a track. Far by the worst airport I have ever been through. Cattle class comes to mind! They definitely don’t have a product or service to be proud of. Such a shame.

Really wished I had looked at the reviews before going through security. This airport is far too small and needs extending. People sat on the floor and steps as there's hardly any seating. Thousands rammed into a tiny area. I felt so sorry for people with babies and the elderly.

you get here the true essence of Italy: bad WiFi, fairly dirty, with uncommon silly rules aimed to rip travellers off but surely ruin their experience.
No point to limit the departure area 2.5 hours before departure when the other facilities are small and poor, unless you want your restaurants to cash from the traveller overstay.
Also closing the airport for 2 hours is truly a no-sense besides pissing off travellers waiting for early flight

Un aeroporto totalmente allo sbando. Lo sfacelo più assurdo. Ho visitato migliaia di aeroporti ma anche quelli più poveri e malconci superano di gran lunga questo. Le disposizioni di questo indegno aeroporto in caso di maltempo prevedono che gli aerei una volta atterrati rimangano attraccati a terra con i passeggeri al loro interno (anche se non piove ma semplicemente minaccia pioggia) lo stesso vale per lo scarico bagagli visto che non sono state allestite apposite coperture di riparo che consentano agli addetti il disbrigo delle operazioni E STIAMO PARLANDO DI UN AEROPORTO “INTERNAZIONALE” vergognoso ed imbarazzante al tempo stesso al 2025 queste condizioni. Il risultato finale è una sala di ritiro bagagli che sembra la posta centrale il giorno del ritiro delle pensioni, bambini che giustamente piangono dalla stanchezza e dalla fame visto che in quest’area non ci sono nemmeno dei servizi di recezione. VA ASSOLUTAMENTE CHIUSA QUESTA STRUTTURA. Mai più al mondo un volo da Pisa
