I hired Pets2Go2 as a bespoke service with the largest van to transport me, my husband, and our 3 cats from Bristol, UK to Karlsruhe, Germany. We had Maddie as our driver, and I cannot say enough positive things about her! She drove safely the whole way, she was wonderful company, and she clearly put our cats' well-being as her first priority.

Gordon, the company owner, was very busy during our reservation time up until our move date, so we only received minimal emails/feedback from him. However, their company did offer to check over our cats' veterinary paperwork (animal health certificate), but when I emailed them across I didn't receive an answer. Luckily, I am a vet nurse so I knew the paperwork was in order, but if I wasn't in the vet field this would've made me a bit nervous. However the paperwork was all in order and the border crossing went very smooth. If you are OCD (like me), just be aware you may not receive responses, emails, or updates as frequently as you would like. I would email Gordon, not receive an answer for many days, then call him directly and only then finally get a response over the phone. Despite this, pick up arrived as arranged, our hotel for our overnight stay was pre-arranged for us, as were tickets for the EuroTunnel etc. The company overall delivered on their services and I cannot recommend Maddie enough as a driver! Where Gordon/customer service/response time is lacking, Maddie makes up for this ten-fold and is clearly an asset to their company!

I am so grateful that I found pets2go2 and had the fantastic Maddie to drive me and my cats from London to Glasgow during a stressful house move. I could honestly not have hoped for a better journey; Maddie is an absolute pro with cats and really understands their needs and different temperaments. I also just really enjoyed chatting along the way and chilling out… from dreading the journey I ended up having a great day.
The cats slept in the igloos provided the whole way and settled really quite surprisingly well at the other end. I’ve travelled with them before and they were visibly more at ease with the spaces provided in the van and the relaxed atmosphere than in previous trips I have made with them. I fully recommend pets2go2 (and so do my cats!)

Could not have asked for better.
We booked the services of Pets2go2 to transport two cats, myself and my partner, from London to Clay Cross in chesterfield. Gordon not only arrived on time, but was very patient with one of our cats who became quite anxious when placed in the carry cage. Gordon was polite and friendly and kept us fully entertained during our three and a half hour journey. I can wholeheartedly recommend this company. All in all, a brilliant service.

Our 2 x cats went with Pet2Go2 from London to Barcelona.

We have had our pets transported a few times as lived around the world and can say hand on heart that the best experience has been with Duncan and Maddie at Pets2Go2.

Everything went super well from the initial inquiry all the way to drop-off at our hotel.

I have to thank Maddie. From the moment you picked up the cats from us in London I just knew that the cats were in safe and caring hands. I'm a very nervous owner when it comes to their welfare and opted to have them go by road rather than plane due to them being in the company of one person throughout the journey. Throughout the cat's 2 day journey I was regularly updated with videos and pics. Of course, the cat's slept most of the way. I just felt at ease, my nerves just went away. Thank you!

I've just finished my ride with Gordon today, and didn't want to delay sharing how amazing this was. I hope my review helps you make the right choice like I did, and I know it could be really hard to choose with so many other competing options.
Shortly, very anxious cat, so I had to fly it with me in cabin, not in cargo. Gordon picked me up from where I landed - Paris - and he was:
- Superbly friendly and helpful from the first call, provided me very crisp information to ensure I have all documents.
- Provided me with the best price, by far, compared to all other options I contacted (at least another 4 companies)
- Very fun person to ride with; you won't get bored
- Cat, though extremely anxious typically, was most relaxed I could imagine.

In summary, search no more, once you've reached here.
PS: I've looked into the previous negative reviews, and realised that they're from before Gordon owned the company - so it's new management, and since then, only 5-star reviews as I've seen.

We just had our cat and dog delivered from England to Spain.

The original company suddenly cancelled and Pets2go2 went out of their way to ensure they could assist.

Everything went according to plan, pick-up and drop-off showed that our pets loved the driver.

We got good information along the way and we can only recommend this company and driver 100%

My husband and I were moving from Portugal to the UK with our pup and came across Pets2go2. We figured it'd be a great idea since our pup is a bit anxious, we didn't want to put her on a plane or separate her from us, so we opted for their Owners & Pets service. I contacted Gordon right before the holidays and asked if he'd be able to get us there in 3 weeks' time, fully expecting a "no, not possible, too short notice" but was very pleasantly surprised when he said he'd be able to work something out! He was easy to reach by phone and email and kept us updated throughout the entire planning process, booked our hotels and our Eurotunnel passage.
Our driver Maddie entered in contact with us the night before pick-up to keep us updated on the estimated pick-up time. She made sure that the 3 of us were comfortable, allowing our anxious dog to travel between us instead of in the crate. She was a great driver and very good company, the 3 day trip flew by! Our pup was happy and comfortable, this service was worth every penny! 10/10, will definitely use again if we decide to move in the future. :)

I have now used Pets2go2 twice, once a year ago from London to Paris and recently from Paris to London. Both times went off without a hitch! Gordon is on top of all the paperwork and we sailed through customs each time without any issues. The ride is comfortable and Gordon is great to chat to! Highly recommended by my cat and me 😸

I was delighted with the service provided and would strongly recommend this company. I was very stressed about having to courier my elderly cat from Worcestershire to Scotland, but Pets2go2 was brilliant. Customer service was excellent- I felt they really wanted to know about my cat and time was taken to answer all my questions and reassure me. A phenomenal service provided by a professional company that truly cares about animals and how important they are to their owners. Gordon went that extra mile to ensure that all of the Passenger Locator Forms were correctly completed and Maddie, the driver, was extraordinarily considerate of the customer's needs. Recently used the bespoke Pet & Owner transport service from Scotland to Germany. Spoke with Gordon several times prior to booking due to changes in travel restrictions on our end, and he was able to arrange travel that matched our schedule at a reasonable price. The entire process from pickup to drop-off was very smooth and not stressful for our two cats. They have both settled into the new location in record time.

I live in Finland but had to travel to the UK for a 6-month work contract and very much wanted to bring my best friend Onni (a cat) along, however the thought of sending him "as cargo" was horrific - I couldn't contemplate it. Instead, I was able to take Onni with me in the cabin of a flight from Helsinki to Paris and meet the Pets2Go2 team at the airport for transfer through the Eurotunnel and directly to our new home.

The booking process was thorough and well organised - I first phoned and spoke to Gordon at length about our needs and was delighted that he said "yes" to pretty much everything! He then sent me detailed information via email and we went ahead with payment and booking forms. My personal situation was still flexible at that point, trying to organise post-Brexit and COVID rules, and Gordon was very accommodating of changes.

Onni and I left home at 3:30am in Finland and had various moments of stress going through the airport and experiencing his first flight, so it was a tremendous relief to find Maddie at Charles De Gaulle and be taken care of by her.

Onni was provided with a good-size crate safely secured in the back of the van - he immediately crawled into a comfy bed for some much-needed sleep but he also had a litter tray and water bowl set up, and we stopped at a garage halfway to pick up food. Sadly he was too stressed to use any of those facilities, but it was good to know he had the option.

There was also plenty of room for my luggage (two big suitcases, one little one), and I could see and talk to Onni from my seat in the back, which kept both of us feeling reassured. I even had a couple of naps in the back during the journey, and otherwise had my phone plugged in for charging so I could stay in touch with the outside world.

Maddie was amazing at getting us through the various checks at Calais - her experience means that she knows many of the staff there and also knows exactly where to drive to get onto the earliest crossing possible. We seamlessly got through Pet Reception, then COVID checks and UK immigration and straight onto a train. This meant that I arrived at my UK address in Dorset at exactly the expected time, just 5 minutes before having Tesco groceries dropped off so I could begin my quarantine!

Onni settled into our new home very quickly and 12 hours later is curled up happy on the sofa next to me. Although travel is always stressful for a cat, it was minimised at every stage for him - he avoided any real trauma and is just grateful to be in one place again :-)

Points for improvement: the trip is expensive because it has to be (and I don't begrudge a single penny), but a few little luxuries would be nice, like meeting in the terminal instead of outside, and having the option of drinks / snacks at pickup.

Plus points: My driver Maddie was a joy to talk to and clearly cares about the animals. She was happy to leave me in peace when napping and to listen to my sleep-deprived rants! The perfect travel companion for the second half of our journey.

Overall: Frankly 'little luxuries' don't matter at all - this was all for Onni's sake, to get him safely here, and I can't fault that one bit. If Onni's happy, I'm happy! I felt 100% looked after during that trip, able to relax, and would choose exactly the same service every time. Fully recommended.

Contacted Pets2go2 to make an enquiry to see if they offer a service to transportabout my dog from folkestone to Calais using Euro Tunnel. I spoke to a really helpful A gentleman called Gordon.
Even though I was not using this company Gordon allowed me all the time I needed to ask questions and give me very useful helpful information regarding transporting dogs.

We travelled with Pets2Go2 from Frankfurt to North Wales with Maddie. The start of the journey was delayed, not the fault of Pets2Go2, but they made every effort to ensure we were comfortable while we waited and we are truly grateful.

The journey to Wales was safe, efficient and really comfortable. Maddie was an excellent driver and was also great with our pup Moose. She’s a little shy of strangers so Maddie made sure that she never felt fearful and allowed her to take her time to introduce herself. She also allowed us to have Moose sit in the car with us, through using a seat belt attachment which made the experience much less stressful. Gordon also was always super helpful whenever we needed to speak to him.

Overall we highly recommend Pets2Go2 and would use them again if ever needed. Thank you!

Last weekend Maddie drove myself and my kitty cat Lola from London to Barcelona. Maddie was a total gem. Not only an excellent driver, she made what could've been a very stressful few days (Covid restrictions just adds an extra layer of uncertainty onto an already stressful situation) into easy and enjoyable ones! The trip flew by, no issues at any border. I was happy to have paid for a road trip rather than fly in these uncertain times. If you are travelling with your kitty my advice would be to get a large soft carrier and have them ride beside you in the back - the cage in the rear of the van is a little too noisey for kitties and they much prefer to see their humans :)

Excellent service getting both of us and our cat home under extreme circumstances for us, never mind Covid and Brexit! Our driver Maddie was punctual every day as it took 2.5 days to get home from Spain to the UK via France. She was very friendly but also professional at all times and looked after us in every way making sure we were comfortable and entertained! Her driving skills were excellent and we felt very safe in her hands. The journey home was brilliant and we can't thank Maddie and Pets2Go2 enough.

I and my two cats have just returned to the uk from Spain. Three days traveling and two nights in hotels.
We were ALL looked after and pampered all the way! We made frequent stops so I could stretch my legs and the cats could get some fresh air when the back door was opened.
The cats crates had plenty of room to allow for a litter tray and water bowl. A blanket or towel was laid on the bottom of the crate so they felt more comfortable. If this became soiled my driver Maddie, with my permission, stopped at the next services to quickly change it whilst I held my cat.
The hotels were pet friendly so my cats were free to explore the room, have a little play, then settle down with me so we all had a good night's sleep. Because of Covid we had to collect our food and eat it in our rooms which was no hardship and the food was delicious.
Maddie is an amazing driver and we chatted and laughed a lot and had quiet times too.
One of my cats became quite distressed on the second day so Maddie suggested using a pet harness for her which allowed her to travel, safely secured, on the back seat next to me. It was amazing for her and she was happily curled up next to me for the rest of the journey.
This whole experience was so smooth and enjoyable and I would definately recommend Pets2go2 to anyone looking to move either their pets on their own or pets and themselves from A to B
