Purchased a car, paid cash, the guy was clearly annoyed that we didn't take the finance and all the unnecessary extras to increase his bonus. Was told car had been serviced, few miles down the road the tyre pressure light comes on then the service light. They turned the service light off at a later date, despite not servicing it, they allegedly changed one filter and that merits them stating it was serviced. The garage we took it to said it absolutely had not been serviced and they stamped the book, like professionals. Also needed new wiper blades. Were also told would receive the spare key in the mail "in a couple weeks", fast forward to many months and hours of calls/emails later, we were finally sent a key, that needed programming. Couple of things in the car were broken and they promised to fix them, several emails and calls later, the wrong parts were sent out. Had a slow puncture that needed fixed, that's when discovered they hadn't provided the locking wheel nuts because "they dont have to" apparently, so all the wheels needed cut off and nuts replaced. One manager said a few times "I'm going to get this sorted for you once and for all" but never made good on anything he promised. Ended up having to involve a 3rd party resolution dispute company who said they had never experienced anything like it when dealing with them. This was supposed to be a reliable car for a nurse who works in the community but it ended up being an absolute nightmare and costing hundreds of pounds, on top of the thousands we had already paid for the car. I will never purchase a vehicle from this company again and nor would I ever recommend them.

Purchased a car in Feb and was pressured in to taking the car care plan which I didn't want. My branch has recently closed and trying to cancel the policy which they won't do. Very unhelpful staff. Will be taking it further. Disgusting customer service. Do not buy a car from here

I will give 0 mark for the CARZ Dundee.Very very bad customer service and NEVER RECOMMENDED in future.
1,On the day of collecting the car we got the phone call the wind screen is chipped and need to replace.It took nearly two weeks and I got the call and an email, that the car is ready for collection.When we reached in Dundee CARZ,the staff said wind screen is not fixed yet.The funny part is on the we drove to Dundee we received a phone call from the manager asking how is your new car.I said I am on the way to collect it.
This is the first bad experience
2,They set up a direct debit from my account for the road tax without asking me,I always pay once off rather than monthly payments.
It is 7 weeks I got the car and they did not informed DVLA regarding the new registered keeper and I haven’t received the V5 certificate.
Not a customer friendly Dealer.

The sales are good but the after sales are shocking. Cars are not prepared properly for handover, they stamp the log book to say they have done a complete service but they don’t reset the service on the vehicle so have they done it. I found a check sheet with faults on the vehicle and checked them and the faults are still there so will have to book it in to get them fixed and now will have to go to Perth to get it sorted.

Salesman asked what we wanted then pointed us in the right direction and left us to look at the cars. Came back with 2-3 choices and he helped us narrow it down and we selected our new car

Collected Mt car following MOT ,which required wishbone replacement,, and service.
Drove car home. Went to go to work this morning and had 2 functions not working and warning lights on dashboard. Called Peter Vardy Dundee who intoned. not our fault, not our issue, can't help. I have never had a single problem since I bought the car from them 1 year ago.
Contacted local Nissan dealer who quoted approx £500 to diagnose and fix problem . THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS
I work for the NHS and do not have £500 to conjure out of thin air.

Signed a deal on a vehicle for £191.00 per month. I reviewed my agreement a few days later in the mail. The figure changed to £215.00 I had to cancel the car

Underhand sales tactics.
Had a look at a car on line and went to look at it, the showroom was closed and as the facility is fenced off was unable to look around the forecourt - looked at the car from afar and decided to go back the following day to see it.
When I called to see if the car was still available I was told I had to make an appointment to view it which seemed odd. On arrival I was ushered to a seated area and told to wait there until the sales man came along - again this seemed odd. Once meeting the sales man we got on fine, he showed us to the car and answered the questions we had. He pointed out that they don’t move on the price as there priced keen and the price on the window is the price you pay, it comes with a 3 month warranty. I pointed out that the window wiper was hanging off at the rear and that the sunroof seal was burst - he accepted both needed attention - he then said that if you can see damage from 2 metres or more away the company policy is to give some attention and put right, a small area needed a machine polish - he and I accepted all of this and I agreed to buy the car, place the deposit and on the three points being resolved I would then transfer the remaining balance that week - all of which was agreed. He suggested he would let his sales manager know and went away for a chat - when he came back the car price had went up by £250 ( we apply an admin charge to the car!) again this seemed odd and alittle underhand - indeed the price on the window is not the price you pay and the only way the price moves is to increase - very bizarre - we did not agree on this point and the sale collapsed. I have today received a call from the sales manager who enquired about my experience to which I have brought him upto speed with how I felt - no apology was provided or any real explanation - he did however start to tell me that the days of haggling were done 20 years ago and I suggested I wouldn’t go to tescos and haggle over my £60 shopping - I reminded him I hadn’t haggled over the price on the window but was however annoyed with the £250 being mentioned at the point in which I was about to hand over my deposit - I also informed that when going to Tesco I don’t anticipate buying my £60 shopping to be charged £100 at the till when handing over my cash. Bizzare experience to say the least.

Excellent service, this was my third car from Peter Vardy and always had great service free to walk round the showroom on my own without any sales pressure, and the staff are on hand if I need any questions answered.
