A very good company

I’m amazed to have already received my order from Peppy Beads since I only put in an order yesterday.

Sight unseen

Despite a request to review from Peppy beads and my sending two emails - I have had no response from this company and no bead! Are they Spam? It appears so, altho’ they have a very good rating here. A shame.

Awful customer service

I have placed several orders with Peppy Beads and really rate the quality of their products. However, my last order had a missing item which I contacted them about, they initially responded asking me to check again to make sure it wasn't still in the envelope etc., which I did and emailed them back to confirm that it wasn't there. Heard nothing, chased them again about the missing item, heard nothing. So while I do like their products, I won't be purchasing from them again because their customer service when a problem arises is awful.

No refund and being ignored

I sent a return on 11/07/25 through evri and it was delivered 14/07/25 at 12:58pm. It is now the 03/08/25 and I have still not received refund and my emails are being ignored. Would not recommend if something goes wrong with your order.

Update
I have now received refund after leaving a bad review. As instructed by their website, I sent an email first to request refund.

In the response email nothing was stated about ensuring order number was included. They then proceeded to try to get me to change my review due to it "being my fault', this is before a refund was even received.

It's a shame you have to leave a negative review to get customer service from some businesses.

Oh my what a find

Oh my what a find! I found this website by chance and bought some beautiful little charms - I love them all!! The travel gold charms and wine charms are so sweet and perfect as little add on gifts to a present. Such wonderful value too! The ordering was easy and the delivery super efficient - I only ordered them yesterday and here they arrived the day after! High recommended!

Took time but issue resolved

Ordered two items, one was ok the other was not.

The process to return an item requires you to ask them if it’s ok through their email.

Once approved you get the address you need to send it to and they advise you to keep the postage receipt incase you need it. (I sent a photo of the receipt as soon as I posted).
Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items.

I sent the return off on 6/12/2024
It is now 22/01/2025 as of writing and no refund has been received and emails are being ignored.

A nice looking company that is let down by it’s customer service.

Reviews to me seem disingenuous

Reviews to me seem disingenuous. I have read messages from those in similar situations that would be not hearing from peppybeads within months of ordering and not receiving their ****. This is appalling practice. I don’t know if my item is even in the Royal Mail network because they decided they would send me a shipping email in the night of eleven which nobody ships. I ordered a second time to alert them that you know, someone is attempting to buy two sets of whatever product you can, and I have not received even a shipping notification or updated messsge from them. It’s embarrassing. 334k sales, 4.9 reputation but can’t respond to a basic dm after seeing that this is a seller that responds in a few hours on their profile. I don’t trust this shop.

£300 down the drain: Think Twice before you order from #peppybeads

I only gave them one star because there was no option to give them zero stars.

Seven weeks ago, I made a purchase worth £316 from #PeppyBeads that never arrived! I'm still baffled and disgusted by the way they handled this. I made the purchase online and chose the option for their next-day delivery service. Their courier took a blurry, illegible photo as 'evidence' that the package had been delivered to the address, but when I asked them to isolate MY package in the photo, they refused to identify it. On this basis,it wasn't actually delivered at all. They also said it was signed for, but there was no signature on the delivery note and no-one at the address by the name of the person who allegedly received it!

When i reported the problem, they used 1000 tactics to avoid my calls and delay the investigation process. Eventually, I wrote to them asking for a refund. They stalled for a further 14 days, then wrote back to me and said they are not going to refund my money because it took more than 14 days for me to report it!

I honestly didn't want to shame them, my priority was to get a new order of beads or my money back. This was a last resort and the only way I could retaliate for the disdain they have shown me. They made me feel completely helpless. I've made smaller orders from this company twice before and everything went smoothly, so I'm not surprised the reviews generally show positive feedback. I guess this was a freak incident? or was it? The fact is I've lost over £300 and I'm likely to miss delivery deadlines for pre-orders made of our work. I'm still in shock that they can treat people like this. I've made new arrangements to order directly from the manufacturers in Japan next time.

I hope all the stress they made me suffer is revisited on them 10 fold and that this review encourages people to think twice before they make a big order from this shop.

Regarding your request for a refund, our policy stipulates that any delivery issues must be reported within 14 days of the delivery date. Your order was delivered the next day by DPD, and you reported this problem 24 days later than delivery. Unfortunately, your report came beyond this timeframe, which made it challenging for us to claim our insurance from the courier and process a refund.

We understand your frustration and regret any miscommunication or delays in addressing your concerns. We always aim to provide efficient and transparent customer service, and we apologize if we fell short of your expectations in this instance.

Peppy just can't be bothered

I emailed Peppy Beads to ask if they could give me the code for some beads I had ordered before but hadn't been able to find in their website. I gave them a full description of the colour and size. All they did in reply was to send me all my past invoices to trawl through, even though many were obviously irrelevant.
I finally found the code but it didn't come up when I searched the website. I concluded that they were no longer stocking them but when I asked if there was any possibility of them getting more in, they would only say that they might but couldn't give a date. No offer to order any for me. It seems that Peppy Beads only want to do the minimum, other suppliers that I deal with are far more helpful so I will be giving my custom to them in future.
