Broke down on the A1 near Stamford on Tuesday 1/9/26 at midday. Called for assistance. Parker Fry responded and on scene within the hour. Although unable to repair my car they immediately arranged one of their recovery vehicles to get us to a garage at home in Darlington. The recovery driver was Nick Brannan. What a pleasant and amicable man he was! Took my wife and l home to drop off vehicle at nominated repair garage. The journey was a pleasure when it could have been a crisis. Cannot thank him enough. A real ambassador for a professional company. Enjoy your holiday Nick and thank you!!!!!

Mickey was fantastic, expected him to be an hour but turned up within 25 minutes and got me and the car home safely. Really great chap I’d trust him 100% if I had another problem. Thanks again Mickey!!

What can I say, They turned up on time and took me and my car home with in 2 hours. I would use them again if in the area and breakdown. Very very good service and people.👍👍

Had an incident on the M11/A14 on the way home from stansted airport after a trip away for Easter - hit something in the road and ended up with a perished tyre - managed to pull into services - Parker Fry came quickly and recovered us and our vehicle back to Peterborough (dropping the car off at our tyre place of choice and then us home) - We are a member of the AA yet had no response from them!

They attended our breakdown in good time, the guy who came out was called Kieran, he went above and beyond to help us and got us going, he was not going to give up until our van got started, a credit to the company, we would recommend this company as they were efficient, reliable and extremely caring and helpful, thankyou

I got recovered very quickly once they had been informed, Matthew was really helpful and professional and would recommend their service to anyone.

Brilliant service when I broke down on A1 arrived quicker than predicted and got me away from the A1 to a nearby cafe while long distance driver came to collect me and the car as it wasn’t a road side fix. Everyone really friendly and helpful - thanks

I cannot praise this company and staff enough, broke down after a long shift with a puncture late at night. Due to tiredness myself got a bit confused and conned by another company (who never arrived)

The driver (J Anderson) turned up and waited with me as I was a lone female, in a rural dark area and then recovered me and my vehicle safely home

Exceptional service from James at Parker Fry. Incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, polite, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. He arrived in approximately five minutes! And we were back on the road in less than an hour, having expected to need towing home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, based on this experience.

Parker Fry came out to me via my breakdown service, having had car issues on the A1. They could not have been more prompt, friendly and helpful. Although the outcome wasn't great in so far as my car was not repairable by them, I was given a courtesy car, and my car is being recovered home. I appreciate that the cost is the responsibility of the breakdown insurance, but I was mightily impressed by everyone at Parker Fry.

We broke down on the A1 near Peterborough. Incredibly busy road, hot day and very stressful. Rob from Parker Fry arrived in 20 minutes ! So kind and helpful the stress vanished and we had a cheery trip to drop our car off at a local garage in Grantham. Turned a grotty experience into a pleasant little adventure. All hail Parker Fry !

I had just bought a caravan and after a few miles the sidelights and indicators failed on my vehicle and all lights on the caravan failed making it impossible to tow.
I called my breakdown service and Parker Fry were there about 10 mins later. Everything was sorted in a cheerful and professional manner and we were on our way a couple of minutes later. Excellent service.

Guy rob came out to look at ma car a Vauxhall 1.4 turbo. Had problems with it after I filled it up Thought I had put the wrong fuel in but all was ok. When he was there he checked a few things in my car for me as well Witch he didn’t have to do. Very nice of him . Brilliant 👍

Duane from Parker Fry recovered my little Toyota IQ from home to the local dealership for a service and MOT. Having stood for 18mnths the little car didn’t want to start, Duane was cheerful, good humoured and professional throughout. He was sensitive to my clinically vulnerable status and extremely helpful. In a short time he’d managed to start the car!! It is on its way to the dealers for its overnight stay. Five stars to Duane!!!

Jimmy from Parker Fry was absolutely wonderful from start to finish when my car wasn't starting. He was calm, kind and extremely professional, talking me through the whole process and coming with me into the shop to buy the part, not to mention dealing so professionally when there was a minor hiccup with an unavailable part. I felt thoroughly looked after and would recommend Parker Fry to anyone with a car problem! I also recommend Jimmy as he is clearly a lovely human being!

Arrived approx 30 mins after initial report to Green Flag, dead battery.
Nothing was to much trouble for Olly, even gave me advice on what to do next. Would recommend Parker Fry anytime.

Got stuck on a grass verge in my sprinter rung the AA to get me back on road so they send Parker Fry at 3am fri/sat morning I thought I was never getting back on road but thanks to the two blokes who got out off bed and got me on my way nothing was to much for them and went the extra mile for me much appreciated and would highly recommend 10/10 service thanks again

Excellent service. Job done. Had to call Ford Assist last night after my 2 yr old pickup died on me. They passed the job on to Parker Fry who's comms were first class. The young lad who rocked up knew his stuff and got me back on the road without any problems. He was very competent, professional and informative. Well done PF, I salute.
