For Palmer Snell Taunton 1 star is too much.
The worst agent I have ever rented off or dealt with.
Rented us a property unfit for human habitation. Sewerage running down the road in front. Had no running water when we moved in (we had no choice as had travelled 7 hours with removal vans)
Disgustingly filthy house. Totally unacceptable childish individuals in the office that did nothing to sort any problems and there were tonnes.
They now have the audacity to question the cleanliness of the property after they told us we would not need to clean due to the terrible state the property was in when we moved in. Property also illegally let as a G rating with no exemptions listed.
DO NOT RENT OFF THESE PEOPLE. Unless you want to live in a damp, cold uninhabitable property that will cost you £500 a month to heat.
They also lie about the state of the property. We are having to fight for our deposit for damages that the previous tenants did.
Avoid these re-tards (spelt incorrectly as being honest these days is classed as inappropriate 😂) like the plague.
Will be exposing these people in as many places as possible, over and over again so that they cannot get away with such disgraceful customer service. They made our lives a misery for 7 months.

Save yourself the hassle, stress and illness that come with renting through the thieving scummy company that is Palmer snell /countrywide. My landlord eventually ditched them but only after making me seriously ill and causing me to have a stroke. I have a impeccable rent record and have NEVER ONCE missed, or been late, on a payment. Yet every single month, over a 20 month span, they were harassing me, by calling/letters/emails to say I hadn't paid. EVERY effing month!!! And every single time I could prove I had paid. And on every single occasion this happened, after sometimes weeks of arguing it, they would eventually respond with "oh yeah, duh, we found the payment, so and so didn't upload to the correct system". Jokes. Then the following month they would do the excate same. They would even threaten with bailiffs and eviction and cause me such stress and depression. And they would never apologise even when EVERY. SINGLE. TIME, they would then find my payment. To say I hate them, it's a under statement. I believe they are corrupt and most definitely thieves. Not only this, but lies about it being on a electric meter, rodent and fruit fly infestations which never got sorted, lying about a private garden being mine, leaks in roof and damage to my property which they won't fix, crack heads breeding pitballs in the flat beneath me (19 bloody dogs in one tiny flat) and drug dealing.... The list is endless. If you're in Dorset(Bournemouth area), give them a wide birth as they are absolutely horrendous and will lie, lie and lie to swing a situation their way. And when you catch them in their lies they literally go "oh effing well, tough sh*te, what ya gonna do". Also be aware that behind the scenes are run by countrywide. Who honestly, are just as disgusting, if not more so, just look at their trustpilot reviews. The whole thing made me incredibly depressed and so stressed I ended up having a stroke. I hate them with a passion and if they all went bust tomorrow, I would throw a HUGE party. Horrible people with no morals or care what so ever.

Excellent customer facing skills received from Oliver Fiest lettings negotiator and a very knowlegable understanding of the business .

Palmer Snell did a brilliant job from the moment we viewed the property to handing over the keys. Shabel showed us around and was knowledgeable about the property. He was happy to answer all our questions. Sebastian and Jamie dealt with our questions prior to moving in, in a very professional manner. All three guys called us back when asked to.
All in all I would recommend Palmer Snell when looking to rent a property. Very professional service.

I tried selling my property on three occasions, each time the sale fell through. However the service initially offered by Keith then followed by Carole and Katie was excellent, quick response to my queries and genuinely nice people to deal with.

I trusted Palmer Snell with selling my property. On one of the viewings, without me being present as I had given them my key, breakages took place. This included cracking 2 tiles on my bathroom floor. A tumbler was also cracked so it was quite obvious this had been dropped on the floor. It doesn't take a brain of Britain to know it was Palmer Snell or somebody they were showing round. They didn't let me know. Their local senior branch manager came on the phone today and gave me a load of attitude and denied it was anything to do with Palmer Snell. I'm disgusted and will be taking this matter further! I would thoroughly advise anyone to give Palmer Snell a very wide berth!!

Not a good experience with the Yeovil branch for us. In June we wanted to purchase a home they were listing. The agent was a pleasant enough person. We had a few concerns about the property and asked them to query the owners (who live abroad). Heard not a sausage. We repeated our enquiry even through our solicitor. Nothing. For 4 weeks. Red flags were flying for us, so we contacted our solicitor and pulled out. Her work cost us £1,000. The agent contacted us 3 weeks later to say they were sorry we pulled out and today, another month later we got a letter saying they still want to help us. That’s nice, but we don’t need you anymore.

Terrible communication. Never answer phones when you call the office and when you do, never get a call back.

Do not allow these people to market your property. This letting agent will transfer your electric supply to Spark energy even prior to contracts being signed. Spark/Ovo will rip the absolute p*** out of you, not bill you but will send debt collectors and give you a massive over bill and claim that if you haven't got meter readings 7 days apart there is nothing they can do. Countrywide however will be making a nice bit of commission out of your misery. This letting agent has been shambolic!

Adam was great all through the process. Even sold me a house.....which I wasn't looking for but love it. Thanks to the whole team.

Gr8 experience. The staff have been lovely - everyone. Assisted me all the way. I moved from Sweden and the contact was excellent - despite the distance. On site in the UK, the practical bits were taken care of in a good way. Kudos!

Good service for finding a great mortgage deal. Overcome lots of obstacles along the way. Beth Wadsworth in Bridgwater is fabulous. Communication excellent, diligent, conscientious and professional.

Tried selling our home through the Christchurch branch, in our opinion they are hopeless. Poor communication, lack of feedback, when showing people around they kept forgetting important points, and the even left the house unlocked on one viewing. In my opinion don't bother.

Very bad experience with these people. The staff give you poor information and advice, do not pass messages on and lose information.

They make it very difficult to get your deposit back... I have opened a dispute with the deposit people....
