Farrow & Ball paint delivered was clearly wrong hue. Photos made this self-evident. Clear as anything; yet we were met with only resistance. Assured they had the best paint mixer in the country! Wrong! After numerous contact direct with F&B, THEY accepted the paint delivered to us was indeed wrong!. At this point we had exterior walls with 50/50 one colour and the other!

Still the supplier remained unhelpful and we never received an apology, let alone a refund. Indeed Jeremy was extremely rude and condescending to us!

Wouldnt use this one-man bandit ever again.

Wanted to change a paint spec, a Jeremy Haskell conned me into thinking they could swap it for a good price and I ended up excessively overpaying. When I called to resolve the matter, I was met with hostility. Stay well clear or if you do purchase from them, be warned. I read your response and I totally refute your statements. It was you who was rude and aggressive and when I raised this highlighting that I don't appreciate your tone you then hung up. As for better rates elsewhere I welcome anyone to currently search on google (25.10.25) which would prove your poor credibility and honesty.

Ordered paint on 18.08.25 still no update on delivery, can't speak to anyone on phone 0844 472 2972 Sent email to tradepointdirect.co.uk & a reminder. left 5 messages still no call back, very poor service never recommend anyone to buy from that company.

Guy on the phone was super helpful. Didn’t manage to get express delivery but they tried and explained why it wasn’t possible. Didn’t just rush to jog me on. Paint hasn’t been delivered yet, but it’s coming direct from a supplier. So out of their hands now really.

Philip (Phillipa) and Jezza (Jeremy) on customer service have got to be the most incompetent, rude and useless people I’ve ever interacted with. Would not refund me next day delivery costs when my items did not arrive the next day.

Being stupid I can tolerate but being so confidently rude about your stupidity is laughable.

I claimed them back from the bank who agreed and refunded me instead but what an absolute miserable w ⚓️ he is and phillipa just a useless office dolly 👍

Reply to merchant response: absolutely hilarious to be frank, I reciprocate the energy I receive, you made your stance on rudeness clear in your emails so far be it from me to rock the boat if that is your preferred tone of communication. It wasn’t a technical or a tracking issue, your product didn’t deliver the day I paid for delivery and you incorrectly refused to refund me, I was not impossible to help, all you had to do was your job, competently. N’awh I love you too! But I love my bank more 😘

Claiming that thier paint is made fresh from machine and therefore will sit on shelf until sold !!! Basically insinuating that the paint has a very short shelf life .what rubbish
Asked well what about the tons thst sit on b& q shelf or brewers ???
Seems to me that fartow and ball you need to educate your stockists on the longevity of the paint
Only bought it yesterday and refusing to exchange!!

Great company to deal with. Read other reviews on here leaving negative feedback for late deliveries but once the goods have left Paint Direct they have no control over the courier. I had one deliver a day late but then things happen and courier can’t always account for delays on the roads. My experience has been great, ordered a few speciality paints to be mixed and from order to delivery has always been spot on, plenty of help, updates and great prices. Would def recommend to all.

Order 2 lots of crown trade paint. Both came next day. Reasonable price crown trade paint. Come highly recommended

Excellent service, paint arrived next day as promised. I know I paid extra for that but even then the price was cheaper than other websites I’d looked at. Easy to order on line and after order placed I realised I’d not ticked the right colour box. Quick phone call and that was easily sorted. Very pleased and will return at a later date. Thank you.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. If I could give a zero star rating, I would. The Farrow and Ball paint I purchased as ready mixed turned out to be quite a different colour to the paint I had ordered from F&B directly. From the very start of trying to get a resolution the person I was dealing with (who turned out to be the company director) was rude and aggressive in his tone. I met all of the requirements asked, including providing photos and a painted sample, but he still insisted that the issue wasn't 'proven'. The paint was actually made to order and not 'ready mixed' as advertised, and he decided to pass my information, including email, address, name etc without my knowledge or permission onto who knows who, including F&B to sort out. He told them that their paint didn't match his. When I said that my complaint was with Paint Direct, he said it was not possible to sort it out without F&B. I stated that he should be dealing with his customers and sort out his issues with his machine and suppliers directly with them. At one stage I was put onto another representative to talk to who talked over me when I tried and tried to outline my issue, and then started shouting at me and accusing me of talking over her when she wanted to tell me how her house was decorated. She said that she couldn't get a word in, even though she was the only one talking. She said she would return my money and then hung up. My money was not returned as promised. Ultimately PD would not accept any responsibility for the paint being a different colour as it wasn't 'proven' (despite photos and a painted sample as clear as day). The notion that I was the customer and any investigation down the line with F&B did not need to involve me was totally lost on him. He also felt the need to tell me over and over that all paint is effectively mixed, including F&B's, which means that there was no issue with advertising the paint as ready mixed as it might have only recently been mixed. All in all, I don't think I've ever been treated so disrespectfully and rudely by a company and its employees ever! I did eventually get a refund with a refusal to admit the colour was different. This is only a brief overview of what happened, there is so much more, so I would avoid at all costs

I ordered a tin of Dulux easy care in a colour that had to be mixed and that’s what I received. Chose standard delivery and it arrived two working days later and worked out a bit cheaper than ordering direct from Dulux. The courier gave me a time slot of two hours and they were on time. I’d definitely order from this company again :-D

If you get good service you must do a review. Order 10 tin of classic cream weathershield masonry paint with this company late Thursday afternoon must say surprised they had that colour in stock anyway delivery was as promised on Saturday morning well what more could you ask for. All paint tins was well packed separately and delivered with care. Well done paint direct will definitely be using you again.

Products packed well and with packing that I can reuse elsewhere which is a good bonus for recycling. Products as described, I haven't used them yet but they look as expected. The prices are really good in my opinion. Slight issue with courier (FedEx) but the customer service was easily accessible and on point with sorting it out so really pleased with that. Would recommend.

I ordered 4 pots of Crafted by Crown paint for my daughters bedroom on a Wednesday night and they were delivered on Friday morning. It was outlined when I paid for next day delivery they would be delivered on Friday. The paint was much cheaper than anywhere else, by about £50 and it is absolutely perfect! Turns out I didn’t need 4 pots (2 pots of each colour) and only needed 1 pot of each colour but I will use the other pots in other areas of the house. I would absolutely recommend Paint Direct and when we have decided on colours for other rooms in the house, I will definitely order again!

I placed an order with this company paying extra for next day delivery. I was advised by Paint Direct to expect my delivery on Tuesday 23rd May. My order did not arrive.
I contacted Paint Direct by email and phone - Philippa handled my complaint. Philippa was very helpful and apologetic. She explained that they have difficulty with couriers (don’t we all) and they find it difficult getting a reliable courier to deliver paint. FedEx was at fault failing to deliver as per contract. My order was delivered the next day, a day late. Philippa offered me the option to return the good and receive a full refund and this was duly done. So despite the problem I would recommend Paint Direct - I cannot recommend FedEx.
I feel sorry for such companies who do their best but are let down by shoddy courier companies that couldn’t care less.

Was looking for crown crafted paint and paint direct were the cheapest by a long way.

Was also looking to have it delivered quickly and paint direct delivered on this too, delivered the next working day. The paint was very well packed and all my delivery was delivered without any problems.
