I have had my Osprey bag for 3 years now and I love it! It does everything I want it to do. When I accidentally stepped on one of the buckles and it broke, I went to the Osprey website and asked for a new one. They sent me a new one within 5 days FOR FREE and I live on the bloody isle of Skye which is really far away. I am super impressed with this company. Thank you! :)

I purchased a bag as a Christmas present on 13 December. When it became clear that Osprey would not be able to fulfil the order ahead of 22 December when we were due to head away to stay with relatives, I contacted the customer services team as I wanted to update my address. I was told I didn’t have a valid order number which was odd as I gave the clearly stated order number from the confirmation email. I sent back a screen shot of this only to get a snipey response that I’d contacted the wrong legal entity - Osprey Europe not Osprey London. Odd again as the customer services email is provided on the website just above a UK based telephone number. Regardless, it’s been an absolute failure of an experience and I would strongly advise avoid.

Note: I haven’t received my order yet. However, at checkout for my order it glitched at checkout and my payment went through twice. This happened late on Friday and contacting the customer service team (which are only open Monday - Friday) I was feeling wary of the company for the glitch and concerned that I wouldn’t be able to cancel the order in time (therefore not be refunded for postage, etc). This morning however, I have been refunded for the duplicate order before 10am on the Monday. All doubts have been calmed and this may be one of the quickest and most efficient customer service team I’ve come across with with a company. I can’t often afford many Osprey products but I am so impressed with this service, should I be able to, I would purchase again from them in a heartbeat.

Was using my fairly new Stratos 34 on Search & Rescue operations when the lower section zip failed to close after taking some equipment out, causing me some major inconvenience at a crucial moment in the rescue.
Reported this to Osprey and they immediately apologised and offered me a brand new replacement pack F.O.C. which was dispatched the next day.
It is unrealistic to expect that products will never fail at some time and I have never had any problems with any of my many other Osprey packs or luggage, but it is how companies deal with and resolve any product failures that is the true test and I cannot fault Osprey on this and still have faith in their normally excellent packs.

Sac à dos exos 58
J'ai acheté un exos 58. Je l'ai utilisé une seule fois pour une rando. Une pièce en plastique qui tient l'armature au sac s'est cassée. J'ai écrit au SAV osprey qui m'a renvoyé vers un de leur distributeur osprey en France. J'ai envoyé le sac. 2 jours après on me l'a retourné pour me dire que la réparation était impossible pour eux. Et que je pouvais me retourner vers Amazon qui me l'a vendu. En fait ça veut dire va te faire voire ailleurs. 13,15 € de frais d'envoi dans le C... J'ai envoyé un message chez Osprey. Apparemment ils sont morts sûrement à cause du covid. En tout cas plus de nouvelles. Donc sac bon à jeter apparemment. Je vais me tourner vers un autre fabricant de sac à dos plus sérieux. Ah oui au fait. Osprey sacs à dos garanties. Euh !!! Vérité ou mensonge. Tout est dit.

I can only write from my own experience. I rarely review products. I am rough with the things I own, my Osprey escapist pack does not care, I believe I could tow a truck with it, it is so robust. In addition when i lost a part of my strap I wrote to Osprey asking how I could buy a replacement, their reply was "it has been dispatched". In a time when most companies just want to take your money at all cost, Osprey didn't.

The bag was not suitable so I returned it as the instructions. No refund yet. Slow process.

Terrible customer services. Returned item as was too small but no returns label and had to pay for postage. Waiting for refund and send 3 emails with no reply and had to ring them and still waiting for refund as saying haven’t revived item. Very poor

Best backpack I've used in terms of functionality and durability plus they have a great warranty service - though I've not needed to use this yet thankfully.

Their backpacks and their customer service are fantastic. High quality. I was gifted my first one and now choose this brand myself. Definitely what you want to be traveling with.

The best customer service you could hope for. The sternum strap had come off my talon 44 and so I posted the bag to them to be fixed. Within three days of having posted it, it was fixed and back on my doorstep with a full refund for my postage costs. Not only that but they replaced some toggles which were getting old without me even asking. Customer for life. A real top tier company.

My Osprey Farpoint 40 served me well until it fell off a motorcycle. The damage was extensive so I sent it to In Sport Fashions, Osprey's repair depot in Canada. The process to do so was simple and efficient. The pack couldn't be repaired so I received a brand new Farpoint 40. I'm so impressed, I'm now a customer for life. I love Osprey packs. They are awesome backpacks

Bought an Osprey Tallon 22L about 4 years ago. Done me brilliantly all these years for both simple use commuting on a bike to work as well for big days climbing in the mountains. An exceptionally versatile pack. The time had come however for a new one as it was completely wrecked from the outdoors (my own fault). I contacted Osprey to see if they could fix my pack, I sent the pack to the repair team and unfortunately it was far too gone for them to do anything. They did however issue me a brand new pack and the newest model. The only issue was that I had to cover shipping costs myself. Thought it was fair enough considering I got a brand new pack which fits all my needs perfectly. Turnaround from me posting the pack to recieving a new one was about 4 weeks. Pretty speedy if you ask me.

Mon sac osprey talon 44 s'est abimé très rapidement.
L'enduit s'est mis à coller et à peler et une des fermetures éclair de la ceinture est devenue difficile à zipper.
Le SAV France m'a directement accusé d'avoir mal entretenu le sac et m'a soutenu qu'en France, la garantie à vie (qu'Osprey met pourtant en avant dans toutes ses communications) n'existe pas.
Le SAV Europe met quand à lui bien mieux les formes pour le même résultat : la délamination de l'enduit n'est pas prise en charge par la garantie.

I brought a wet suit from Osprey, I paid ‘express delivery’ £3-4, this is NOT express! My item was a little small - I emailed promptly requested to exchange, I was advised they do not exchange. I said okay I will just return, they request for recorded delivery cost me £5 they do not reimburse you! It got there 2 days later, i did not get any kind of communication to state this had been received and my refund is being processed! I had to chase, 5 days later I got a response! I have sent many emails and my refund still has not been received in my account! I have sent complaint emails which have NOT been acknowledged! I have requested communication from management, guess what still not heard! This is a shocking service! I will NEVER be returning and I will NEVER recommend! I will continue to chase MY money as this is stealing from customers!

I bought a backpack from them online and nowhere in the picture did it show that on the bottom of it was green - a rather ugly green.
Their justification was different computer screens display colour differently... I looked at it from 3 windows computers, two iPhones and two macs and it looks the same in each.
I love their backpacks and would still buy from them, but only in store.
I would happily have given the 5 stars if they’d accepted responsibility and ordered the return shipping, but even though I bought two backpacks from them at the same time, I had to cover the cost of returning the backpack i bought because of their poor image direct from their website.
Pretty disappointed from what is supposed to be a reputable seller and brand.

Suspension:
The farpoint uses a proper suspension system so it is very comfortable to wear. The shoulders have great padding and are easily adjustable.

There is also an added padded hip belt which is very rare for travel backpacks. This takes some of the load off you back!

Size:
The Farpoint 55 is actually a 40L backpack + 15L detachable daypack. If you don’t care about having a detachable daypack, you can save £30 by getting the Farpoint 40, which is just the main travel pack (everything else is essentially the same as the Farpoint 55).
Conversely, if you need a bigger bag, and you don’t care about staying under the carry-on size limit, the Farpoint 70 (55L backpack + 15L detachable daypack) is a great choice.

Carry handles:
These are more important than you would think and I found myself using these all the time. These were great when I was unloading and loading the bag. Sometimes I found it handier to use these than putting the bag on my back.

Opening:
This backpack is pretty much like a suitcase by design. It opens like one and could easily be mistaken for one. This is handy to get what you need from it easily. It can fits lots inside although it’s not the biggest I have tried.

Zippers:
The bag is designed very ergonomically and cleverly. The zippers can be hidden from the outside and this gives the pack a very compact feel to it.

Daypack:
There is also a pack within the item which can be used as a small bag to bring around for the day. This is zipped onto the bigger pack. It is also very comfortable on your back and well designed.
