Please stay away!!!! You’ll make the worst mistake of your life taking one of these vans. They harass you for money at every opportunity charging extra for anything they can and when you return the van they’ll leave you with a huge bill and threaten with legal action if you don’t pay. This was my worst mistake ever taking this van and many other people I know please stay away!!!

Paid for van hire – no vehicle received and no response
I paid £288 to One Stop Van Hire Ltd (also trading as 1 Stop Van) for a weekly van rental from 7–13 April 2025. However, I did not receive any vehicle during that time.
My original van (DL73SXP) was returned to service on 4 April due to a mechanical fault that was not my fault. I immediately informed the company and asked for a replacement van. They responded once, saying a replacement would be arranged. I confirmed I was happy to accept it — and then they stopped replying completely.
Despite multiple emails and phone calls, I received no vehicle, no refund, no credit, and no proper communication. I have now submitted a formal complaint through Citizens Advice and will escalate further if necessary.
This is a completely unprofessional and unacceptable service. I would strongly caution anyone who relies on a van for work to avoid this company.

Please avoid using this criminal company.Onestop vanhire work in association with Romanian amazon sub contractors and are a unscrupulous, lying outfit that scam you for money. The vans are of poor quality and upon return of the vans they make up false claims of damage or unpaid hire costs to try and get money from their customers. They are unprofessional and underhand in their tactics and are only about taking there customers for extra money which is not owed. Please avoid at all costs !!

I would give them 0 stars if possible absolute rip off, their business partner UKE Multidrop also known as Driver agent UK lost the Amazon contract for Swindon and gave me just over 7 days notice that I would be out of a job unless I switched it Newport or Birmingham amazon depot which I could not as they were too far away. I could only give one stop the same notice I was given and paid up for the time I used their van until 27/28 Jan 2025. They still tried to charge me for February saying I owe them 28 days notice and now referred matter to debt collector seeking £931.75 plus debt collectors fee even though I am unemployed now on UC. I am seeking legal remedies to resolve matter. No help from Driver Agent uk or amazon in fact 3 main guys at Driver Agent UK Ethan, Gary and Costel not answering or returning my calls and messages for nearly 2 months. I asked one stop for full break down of how they calculated £931.75 no answer received except a generic one. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This company is SCAM
They work with DriverAgent through which I hired the van,
They charge the earth for the Van and when you need them, they only reply to emails with no phone number. And it takes ages to get a reply.
When I picked up the van, had barely any fuel on it, however if you return it, it MUST NOT be low ( half full) which is about 30 to 40 quid.
Plus all the other stuff like adblue is also an extra charge, it was low and had to fill it up.
Excess is 2500£
It will take you 25 days of work to earn such a huge amount.
Honestly, driveragent treats us like slaves, the number of stops is unbelievable.
The roads are horrendous and very very very risky.for the Van.
The roads are too narrow, I know a friend a couple of weeks ago was charged 160 for the rear light that was slightly damaged.

How the hell can these people even have two stars.
Put a £500 dep on a Mercedes. At the last min with no warning they changed it to a VW which was much more thirsty. Gave me no choice as I was due to start work the day of pick up.
I pickup up the van and it’s got a broken rear back cam. Was assured they’d fix that so I’d be able to see. The van is also on empty (30 miles left of fuel)
I get two parking tickets and assure the company that this will be squashed as 1 is my landlords company and I can remind him that it’s my van (I did so and it was) the other was from a hotel that didn’t realise and they squashed it)
Van company wants to charge me an adm fee per tkt of £30 each even though I informed them of what was happening and had them both cancelled.
Cam was never fixed.
I return the van early after only 2 weeks as I worked with their CROOKED BUSINESS PARTNER(Driver Agent) and realised I was “on a hiding to nothing” at 0.59 per mile and sacked it off after two weeks.
DIRTY ONESTOP, then decide they’re going to not only keep my £500 for supposed 2 weeks left of the contract but they r going to charge me £146.32, which is £323 per week …….

Absolute joke of a company, even though you make payment on time of final payment having handed back van, they hound you saying you haven’t paid it. No one will call you, they do not reply to emails, it’s clear bullying tactics to try and scare you to pay them more money. After finally getting the correct final payment and paying it, 2 weeks later they send a letter saying they will refer to debt collector.
If you do decide to use them please ensure you keep all correspondence emails and call logs, I have so they haven’t a leg to stand on

I had an awful experience with One Stop Van Hire and would strongly advise against using their services. The van I hired was completely unreliable, breaking down multiple times within a short period. Despite reporting these issues, the company’s customer support was unresponsive and ineffective, leaving me stranded without proper assistance.
Their phone lines are unreliable, often failing to respond when I needed help the most. On several occasions, I had to rely on a jump starter just to get the van running. Even after four breakdowns in just a few days, the company failed to offer a suitable replacement or resolution, causing significant disruption to my work.
To make matters worse, they charge an outrageous £1,000 per month for a van that constantly breaks down! For that price, you’d expect reliable service and immediate support, but instead, you get a poorly maintained vehicle and a customer service team that ignores your concerns.
Their tracking system is misleading—they claim the system is misleading—they claim the van was in use, but fail to acknowledge that it only moved due to breakdown-related circumstances. Instead of owning up to the issue, they focus more on disputing customer claims rather than providing actual solutions.
Even after countless calls and emails, they refused to take responsibility for the financial losses and inconvenience they caused. The lack of efficiency, accountability, and proper customer service makes this company completely unreliable.

Expected me to drive 5 hrs to drop the van off but still wanted to charge me another 3 weeks rental on top! Please if for whatever reason you decide to use these money grabbers make sure you read, read and read the T@C’s of the contract! If you don’t sign a new one they will automatically renew it without telling you and then you’re trapped for another 28 days! Worst company iv ever come across it sounds good at first but then you realise what you’ve got yourself into. These people don’t know customer service - Trading standards is the route for me as these people are dodgy!

As you can see from these reviews, they are all bad. I had the same problem with this company.
I was supposed to return their van on the 17th of November, as that was the end of my contract with them. However, since the 17th was a Sunday, they told me to return the van on Monday, the 18th of November. The oil change was also due on the 18th of November. They had made an appointment to take the van to a garage for the oil change, but I told them that was the day I planned to return the van. They agreed to cancel the oil change appointment and told me to bring the van on the 18th instead.
On the day of the return, I took the van for a full valet to ensure it was thoroughly cleaned. The only dirty part was the area where my feet rested while driving. Despite this, when I received the summary, they charged me a £100 fine for missing the oil change appointment and another £100 for the valet. They even sent a picture of the dirty area where my feet had been as "evidence" that the valet wasn’t done.
Additionally, they charged me £100 for a scratch I made, which I can understand. However, overall, I felt scammed. I am relieved that I no longer have to deal with them. Never again will I use One Stop Van Hire.

I started with new agency at Amazon in Edinburgh. The job offer was that I took out a rented van with UK express the agency at Edinburgh as one stop were there business partners.. 2 months in & I planned to leave as it didn’t work out for me as I felt I was being robbed or scammed. After I was told to leave the van at Amazon Edinburgh by Uk express to end the rental of the van etc. Then after a week I started getting emails demanding large sums of money for so called damage and weeks of rent which was lies & a lease that I didn’t sign up for. the van had no damage at all! These company’s are connected to Amazon which is shocking & I’m now at the point where I’m now getting debt letters from one stop debt . I’m NOT paying them a penny! Absolute con artists and I will take them the full way legally.They are a poor company & conmen. stay well clear

Shocking company, it’s bad enough paying £276 a week for it, to then find out that the tyres that were on the van when they gave me it with were the cheapest possible and only lasted 6000 miles before they are trying to bill me for a new set of tyres. It’s a brand new van , a set of tyres should last longer than 6000 miles!!! The constant emails ‘reminding you’ to pay every week. Can’t set a direct debit up has to be paid via bank every week. Don’t answer phones only use email. Can take then 28 days to check van and refund the deposit, no chance of that happpening after reading those reviews! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Their van had a problem. I reported it every week and I sent them a video that the window wiper does not work. They want to injure the driver because that is an emergancy they should wave fixed it straight away.
But they didn't fix it. The problem was that the van window wiper didn't work. I didn't pay unti they come and fixed the van.When they fixed it they take the van and after that they sent me a new payment that I don't know for what.They said that I have to pay £874 also they shoud be returning me one week extra payment and £600 deposit.
Deposit scammers
As a company we have rented a van from them for full four weeks. We have paid every single week without being late, everything was in order from us.
Unfortunately around 1.5 weeks after we returned the vehicle we have received a bill for "full vallet" and paint buffing for alleged damage inflicted by our use which in total is more than half of the deposit.
They have provided several low quality photos with written timestamp (as if thats any evidence, you can write any date) showing vehicle before and after.
We of course have prepared as we usually do by recording a video of the vehicle right on their yard showing every single detail throughout. This video has been shared with them which they, to our surprise, rejected despite the fact that it is a very strong evidence that debunks their claims.
As for the "damages" it appeared to be just a dirty mark which we actually managed to rub off during our second visit after return of the vehicle. They have marked that "damage" with a red circle so we made photo after we actually rubbed it off. Obviously they have also rejected photo of evidence that we managed to remove this "damage".
We have already filed a claim to court and we strongly recommend any victim to do same. They will pretend that their evidence is strong but it is purely just ridiculous bluff since I suppose they do not expect working class to seek for their legal rights.
We will also report this company both to the Police as well as Trading Standards as we believe they are practicing criminal activities by fraud attempts.
