Dishonest, poor management
Olympic Blinds has had my blinds for a warranty issue for approximately seven months with no resolution. Delays are repeatedly blamed on the manufacturer, yet no clear timeline or progress was provided.
Communication was extremely poor. The vice president, who handled this issue, did not return calls, voicemails, or emails from me or my husband and communicated only by text. I was told things like “It’s busy season,” that they would “get to it when they can,” and that pursuing small claims would be “a waste of time and money.”
After contacting the manufacturer directly, I was told they were waiting on Olympic Blinds to authorize the remake. Even after requesting a refund, the owner never contacted me. I have been told 3 times now that my blinds were being shipped back and I still do not have them.
Many Yelp reviews describe similar problems with communication and warranties, and my experience matched those concerns. Based on how this is be handled, I would not recommend Olympic Blinds to anyone who expects reliable warranty support or professional follow-through.
