I had a severe reaction after using this product.My face was very sore,red and burning! I have used Olay Regenerist for many years with no problems and l would certainly not recommend this Retinol product to anyone! My face is still sore and l have not been using anything for now.l hope things will improve!This product should carry a warning which is easy to see.!

I too had a bad reaction to this product.
Having been happy with Olay Total Effects for decades I tried this as it was on special offer. Within two days my cheeks and eyelids were dry, red and sore. One week later it's beginning to get a bit better but I'm still not using any creams of any kind on my face in case it makes it worse again.
Were it just me I would put it down to a one off sensitivity, but I see that others have had a similar reaction and Olay should be made aware of it.

Amazing, I had eyebags UNDER my eyebags on my cheeks and this sorted it in days. I've been using both creams for 2 weeks now and there is a big improvement. I no longer look like I have been punched in the face.

I purchased Olay Eyes Retinol 24 as it
promised ' younger looking ,radiant eyes , works while you sleep. '
After just two days of using the cream the skin around my eyes was red ,itchy, swollen and so dry it started to flake off .
I have used other eye creams and Olay products without any adverse reactions so I know it's not that I have sensitive skin. I have since read several reviews of this product saying they've suffered the same problems.
If you value the skin around your eyes steer clear of this cream .

I purchased the Hyaluronic 24 and vitamin B5 Gel. It makes my skin flake. Over priced and all these chemicals surely are not doing our skin any good? Retinol is dangerous. That's why they put a high SPF in with it, as it makes the skin more sensitive to the sun. Surely that says it all. Research is key with these over priced beauty products. Rip off!

Amelia dimoldenberg selling this face cream makes me want to purge.
She’s the back alley chicken shop t wat who likes to shout at women to “get educated” on the BBC podcast which was widely reported as offensive. We won’t take lessons from her, so no thanks.

I have been very happy using olay products for many years with no issues until I tried retinol 24 night cream. Unfortunately I have had a nasty reaction after using this product such as red, burning itchy rash on my face and neck. The neck area is a lot worse with angry red whelps. This is disappointing as this cream isn’t particularly cheap and after one use I certainly won’t be able to use this again .

I have used Olay day moisturiser spf 30 for many years and have been very happy with it. My latest purchase has new packaging but the product is different - the cream is white instead of a creamy colour, it’s thicker, more like a night cream and has a chemical smell that the previous one didn’t have. Sadly I’ll have to look for an alternative day moisturiser as I don’t like this one.

Hugely disappointed - I have happily, for some years, used Olay Fragrance free anti aging moisturiser. It seems to have suddenly disappeared off the shelves with a very poor replacement of something called ‘day cream’ or another alternative called ‘whipped cream’ neither of which come even close to being as good as the original - with the added irritation that the ‘whipped cream’ comes in a pot with heaps of ridiculously unnecessary packing which is not only wasteful but difficult for my arthritic thumbs to manage. I would like to know what was wrong with the original?

Ultimate eye cream. Have used this daily for years. Nothing comes close and I have used a lot of products. Reduces puffiness, dark shadows and just makes eye area look healthier. No dryness or scaly skin with it on.

The 3rd olay retinol 24 serum I bought in Boots had approx 10ml in bottle. Very disappointed- especially as it is not cheap. Will not buy again as it is impossible to know if same thing could happen again.

Easier cleanup together with moisturizing effect, wow this just the best sleeping mask :))

Great moisturiser for sensitive skin like mine. I have recently started using it and have seen and felt a big difference in how soft my skin is. Also great for anti-aging as well. Would recommend this product for anyone looking for a new moisturiser. Will definitely be trialling some more of their products soon. It was also on a great offer in boots, I hope to see more like that soon!

Disappointed with this cream. After application skin looks no different than it did before application. Appears invisible and doesn’t hide pigmentation or even skin tone. Previously used Olay Total Effects BB cream which was very good. Won’t be using CC cream again.

I've been using Olay total effects cream on my face for quite sometime now and I could say I made a right decision for trusting this product.

I've been using a product of theirs for a while now, but was always surprised at how quickly it'd run out. Especially because it said on the side of the product as well as on the website I bought it from that it contained 50ml.

I decided to take apart the container and discovered that most of the container was empty space, about half of it, just to make it look bigger I suppose. Then there was a big space where the pump mechanism was housed, after taking that off I found the part where the creme was actually stored. I cleaned it out, and filled it with water as much as I possibly could and measured the amount;

12ml... That's about a quarter of the amount that they're actually selling it as. Which last time I checked is not really a very legal thing to do at all.

Contacted their customer service about it, but to this day I have never gotten a response.

After my review below I was contacted and the service received to rectify the situation was outstanding. This may not change my personal opinion of the product however can not fault Olay for their customer service.

1* - Thought I'd give this product a go. First application irritated/stinging and then outbreak of sore spots, mainly on my forehead. Went on website to advise Olay of my issues to unbelivably find there seems to be no way to do this.

Olay Total Effect SPF30-not for me...
First the smell felt a little 'chemical' - didnt like it but still wanted to give a go. The skin felt a bit greasy-but few mins later cream was well absorbed.
Unfortunately 15 min after my eyes were streaming and really stingy, i coulnt open my eyes properly. The sensitivity passed after 3 hours when i contacted olay team. I have reported d symptoms with batch number in case mine was somewhat spoilt...i was also offered a refund which was very kind of them.
Good for some..give it a go - it might b a right for you.
