I dread when it turns out the company I have ordered something from is using NZ Couriers.
We live in an apartment house ( a big one) and they usually don't deliver, stating we are not at home, while most of the time we are. The front door is closed to the public yes, but ppl moving in an out pretty much every minute.
Out of all the carriers, only NZ Couriers have trouble delivering.
Of course you can forget about them texting or calling you when they are here. They just lie and state you were not at home. Also usually they don't even leave a card.
Unfortunately we got used to this so we are frequent visitors at their depot.
The latest is that they did a non delivery yesterday afternoon, I went to pick up today early afternoon, and they already sent the package back to the shop today morning! Wow, I wish they had this efficiency and speed when they actually deliver.
An utter rubbish service, I beg you, if you are a business, please, please please, NEVER use NZ Couriers. Even though it is not your fault, your customers will start to associate this behaviour with your business, and that is probably going to cost you more in the long run than what you save on them (I mean they must be very cheap, otherwise I am at a loss why would anyone ever want to conduct business with them, just look at reviews around the internet)

I've read bad reviews but my experience with NZ Post has been awesome. Super quick delivery, hassle free

I ordered something from a NZ company a month ago. It was picked up on the day by NZ couriers but it is now lost. I have never had a positive experience with them. They are unreliable and will not compensate for their actions. Never order from a company who uses NZ couriers!!

Got an item paid extra for Priory shipping via Fed ex.
Arrived in NZD in 6 days. 6 weeks on NZD couriers still haven't delivered numerous phone calls , numerous emails. They then tell me it has been sent to the wrong area and were waiting for a response from me, when Fed ex didn't tell me it went to NZD couriers. Now they tell me since it's been so long in will take moving of looks if package s to get it.
Absolutely rubbish service.
Discussing it with others , NZD couriers have an absolutely terrible name.

Using New Zealand Couriers for your business is the biggest mistake you can make. Not only will they lose your item, it won't be tracked, you won't get a reply from the Customer service team. They will either steal your purchases or lose it. As a company you will also lose ratings by contracting with NZ Couriers. Worst experience ever and still no items delivered.

Sadly unreliable. Third time Nzcouriers failed us. Time for a review. Meat delivery, driver sick, no driver replacement, no communication. Tracking number incorrectly indicated delivery but meat box was sitting in a hot van from where we had to retrieve it. Only bright side: helpful person for package retrieval.

Awful service, they fail at their core business of reliably moving goods and providing transparency to their customers. Do not tarnish your business reputation by contracting this company. If you own a business you will be saving money by rather personally driving to your customers premises to deliver your goods.

most incompetent delivery service I've encountered.
My passport got stolen from my mailbox because their courier was too lazy to ring the intercom for a SIGNATURE ONLY parcel that he just left in the mailbox

I called them to organize redelivery and gave instructions and a month later found out they never did it because the driver does not read instructions and they never left me a second card or never called.

Absolutely horrible

Don't use this company if you can avoid, courier picked it up and it has been A WEEK and it is still not here, probably never going to come. Courier's house is in city and I live 10 mins away?? No idea what this company is doing, they do not care at all. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

NZ Couriers are the worst couriers, only last week, I waited two weeks for a package to come across Auckland, many inquiries were made from the sender and myself, we were told the package was being searched for, eventually it was found and did arrive. Now this week we have the same problem again, a package that was sent from Kerikeri has not arrived, and no information is forthcoming as to where it is. I do not know why anyone would still use NZ Couriers, I did not have a choice as my packages were sent by other people. If NZ Post can deliver a package within 24 hours, why does it take over two weeks for NZ couriers to do the same.

The worst courier ever 2 weeks late and still cant find my package how on earth are these guys still in business this is the 3rd time now i learnt the first time but the people who i ordered my parcel off used them i had no choice give it up already nz courier

One of the wrost experience i ever had with.Been contacting every single day and got different different answer each day and still havent received my parcel on my hand.None of the staff knows what going on in their office. Dont recommend any one to use this post.Very Very bad and wrost service i had ever in my life.

Shocking. I couldn't believe it. Omg customers service is worse than ever. I had contacted them regarding (Missing Delivery Card) but the guy on the phone didn't want to listen to me. Rebooked it for the next day, I have been waiting for my delivery but the driver drove past and just drop a card in the mailbox and clicked a picture. Then I contacted them to inform them that I was home but nobody came to the front of the building only came to the main road. The next day, I gave them Delivery Instructions to put it inside the mailbox or drop it at the front where I was waiting since 8 am. But the next day another excuse that not enough space inside the mailbox at about 2 pm. Again I booked for Re-delivery to drive through I will be waiting to receive it. Just to make sure, I contacted them again to confirm if everything was okay and said the driver will come to the door. Guess what, this time they never updated the Delivery Instructions and the driver squashed my parcel into the mailbox and never came to the front. I kept on waiting but then I've noticed that tracking details updated online that my parcel had already been delivered and clicked another picture. Oh God, I had to run downstairs with my little one and it's hard to believe that I had to cut the package out of the mailbox. 😡😡😡😡😡

Hi, my feedback is particularly for the Manoroa rd branch, absolutely pathetic service, trying to cater to 2 customers was a nightmare for the indian guy there, He was stressing everybody out, wasnt helping, talking all over me, not listening. Then asked me to go out and fill the address, there was no bench or pen, it was raining outside. I had to go back in the Q again, then his wife came to oversee reception and she was even worse than him. Please take back your agency from them, they do not deserve to treat customers the way they do

The worse services. Contact 4 times, over a week, no one come and pick up the parcel.

Absolutely terrible service. I've recently ordered several packages which by chance NZ Couriers deliver. What a mistake.

Today my partner received one of those packages. It was awaiting in the depot since 18th of August (most probably because of lockdown - understandable).
However the courier came today - we were able to see him from our deck - otherwise he would have just probably left as usual. As my partner was approaching him, he threw the package over the gate instead of passing it to her! He dropped it from around 1.5 meter height on a concrete, while totally ignoring my partner saying there is glass in it!!!
I kind of understand they are trying to provide a contactless delivery, but that doesn't mean they have to throw glass things over gates! I've never had such a bad experience with a courier company. (Actually many at the same time)
Such rude and terrible attitude from the couriers.
The company is unorganised, not capable to deliver a single item safely.
I have around 3 packages

I also arranged one pick-up, where the courier was not even able to call me, ring the bell or try to contact me at all. He finally came and collected on his third attempt, after 3 days.

I was also supposed to receive another package today, but the courier only left a piece of paper saying about missed delivery. He (again!) didn't even bother to try contact me. Unbelievable

I spoke to a customer service representative, she was however, much nicer and very helpful.

Absolutely shocking service. Overnight package sent from Auckland, 8 days ago, was scanned into the local branch 5 days ago, nobody knows where it's gone or can offer any feasible explanation. Far too many parcels seem to "get lost"

absolutely pathetic service. over the years, literally every time i have received a parcel with NZ couriers, there were issues. they tick it delivered(left by door) but if I check my security camera no one even came to deliver anything. then they deliver it 2 days later and sometimes not even that. i have received hundreds of parcels with NZ/COURIER POST and never had any issues at all. i will be avoiding any business that sends through NZ couriers.
