Awful - avoid if you can
Awful company. They don’t tell you that ferries aren’t direct. Nothing ever leaves on time. But my biggest issue is that there is no queueing mechanism and today coming back from Capri to Amalfi was absolute chaos. Everyone was pushing and shoving and I was trying to carry a dog so he didn’t get crushed and then a staff member shouted at me to stop pushing! I wasn’t and couldn’t push but was being pushed from behind. If I hadn’t have been carrying the dog he would have ended up in the sea ! Really really angry and they’re not cheap either and for the price you are not even guaranteed a seat !!!

They don't even deserve one star . They changed our time of arrival and departure twice . We were to depart at 17:45 from Amalfi. They changed it to 15:45 . When we got there and showed them our tickets,we had to renew them with the new departure time . We weren't the only ones with this issue, as there was a 10-people queue for the same problem. We also changed 2 boats on the way ,when we paid more for direct trip . Not worth it . Choose other boats even if it is a bit more expensive.

They charge 10 euros for a small beer, I suspect the staff are pocketing it as they act very shifty.

No tickets. They never sent my tickets….And did not respond to more than 10 emails so never got to even get close to going.
Journey from Naples to Sorrento went…
Journey from Naples to Sorrento went fine. I had booked wrong return date. I tried to sort. I paid extra to allow changes and refunds. I started the process to try and change 14 days via AI system on Direct Ferries. This failed. And did not realise till 2 days before. Still time but AI did not resolve and I got a message after the wrong ferry tickets had departed. I had lots of email or chat but no human involvement till too late. I missed a message but system failed and I tried to resolve but the response was too late. I then asked for a refund and company refused hence I am out of pocket for 5 tickets and hence this message. We make mistakes and the company is incapable of helping customers to resolve and just take their money. They don’t care that I had to make other arrangements to catch my flight home. I got another response after I had arrived at airport asking if wanted to rearrange a date! Just received a message today saying refusal of refund 8 days after I have returned home
Very bad experience
Very bad experience. Especially there is a lady called Molly . She has made a mistake in planning the moving in and out dates of the tenants and made the tenant to pay her mistake. Even though the tenant has followed the legal requirements by the contract. Very unorganised and selfish person. Be careful.
Shit show
We boekten een rechtreekse reis heen en retour naar Positano en stapten op in Napels. Er werd omgeroepen, enkel in het Italiaans, en iedereen verliet de boot om over te stappen op een andere boot. Deze boot voer naar Capri. Daar moesten we opnieuw overstappen op een nieuwe boot en werd ons verzekerd dat deze naar Positano zou varen. Niks was minder waar, de stopten in Sorrento. Aan boord werd er gezegd dat er géén boot meer naar Positano zou varen. Op het dok werd er wel verwezen naar nogmaals een andere boot. Toen we uitleg vroegen werd er niet veel geantwoord. We werden niet geholpen... we zijn om 9u vertrokken in Napels en zijn nu om 11u19 nog niet op onze eindbestemming. Om 16u24 moeten we al terug. NIET BOEKEN VIA DEZE MAATSCHAPPIJ!!!!

La compagnia non vuole rimborsare dei biglietti di cui non abbiamo potuto usufruire per un incidente causato dalla caduta dalla passerella della nave.
Possiedo anche il certificato dell'ospedale e l'ho inviato.
Se non dovessero rimborsarmi procederò per vie legali .

I’d highly recommend you avoid this ferry. We booked a return trip from Positano to Capri. On the return trip, the boat did not arrive at the dock. As it was already late in the day, we had to run to buy last minute tickets for the last boat back to Positano. Not only did we have to buy replacement tickets for another ferry, it was an extremely stressful experience for our honeymoon.
We wrote to the company. There automated response says they need a minimum of FOUR working weeks to respond. As at the time of writing I have still not received a response. What an absolute scam.
I highly recommend going with another provider, there are many others in to area which you can buy on the day.

BE WARNED - Sold me incorrect tickets, then had to buy new tickets. Tried to refund incorrect tickets and was told I should have changed them instead of buying new ones. Despite not being told that at any point was ever something I could do. This company is a nightmare for customer service. Avoid like they are a plague.
Beware, you cannot get refunds and watch out for baggage
We asked for the earliest ferry to Naples from Positano and they duly gave us tickets for the earliest of their ferries. I asked this was the earliest ferry that was leaving the port to which they replied yes. It in fact was not as there was an earlier ferry from one of the other companies. When I found out and asked for a refund this was rejected. They also charged us for baggage which wasn’t required as our bags fall well within the required limit. Overall, we got there in the end but do your homework beforehand
Mis-Selling Tours
Booked tickets for their “Tour 4” trip from Sorrento calling at Positano and then Amalfi and back to Sorrento (20th August 2024). Firstly this is a ferry service and at best not a good one. The tour states approximately 1.5 hours in Positano and approximately 2.5 hours in Amalfi. The reality is far from that. We left Sorrento bang on time. 11:00 with a 40 minute estimate to Positano, we approached the bay at 11:50. We then held off docking for 45 minutes, whilst other ferry operators docked. Clearly this company does not have priority. Our 1.5 hours was cut to 15 mins taking into account they ask you to be at the dock 15 mins ahead of sail time. We the were kept on the dock for additional 45 mins waiting for the Amalfi leg of the “Tour” to continue. Arriving in Amalfi we were kept 15 mins waiting to dock. If you’re keeping track we are now 1 hour late into Amalfi. Cutting our time there to just over 1 hour. The return leg to Sorrento left 50 mins late (keeping us queuing in the baking sun for over an hour). The return was supposed to be direct but again it called into Positano. We finally arrived back in Sorrento 80 mins late. If you want a ferry service where you have no time expectations then go ahead. But for me never again. Late / bad service / no apology / miss selling “Tours” when clearly they are ferry legs with no guarantee of timing. Review forces 1 star as min. Should read zero.
Treated Like Livestock
I took the ferry from Sorrento to Naples. It was twenty minutes late, I had to pay for luggage at the ferry (why doesn’t the website tell you this or allow you to book baggage?), and it’s a free for all getting onboard. There is no control, no queue system, nothing. Just everyone pushing and shoving each other to get on board. It’s disgusting that the operators think it’s acceptable to allow that situation, treating customers as nothing, as animals. As long as I live, I will do everything I possibly can to avoid using them again. I have no doubt they won’t care though, as it’s clearly all about the money for them. An utter disgrace. Thanks for ruining my Italy experience!

You were not allowed to sit on deck outside no idea why? You are hauled around like cattle made to wait in huge crews in the hot sun and moved from queue to queue. Just a miserable experience and expensive at 65 euros each we were told the ferry would be direct back to sorrento after amalfi but stopped at position and sorrwnto before heading back to Castellammare de Stabia.

We had a day trip booked from Naples to Sorento on 25/7/23we arrived in Sorento just before midday.
At approximately 2pm we were sent an email informing us that the return journey was cancelled until the following day, leaving us stranded with no way to get back to Naples!
I went to the ticket agent who was located at the port to be told “the return journeys had been cancelled at 09:00 that same morning… 1 hour before we sailed out!
The ticket agent then proceeded to say to me “it wasn’t his problem how me and my young family got back to Naples and he didn’t care if we missed our flight”
I urge anyone thinking of a day trip to Sorento, go with another ferry operator!
