Five stars for box office
Five stars for box office. I made an error in my order, buying a ticket I didn't need for a child under one year old who would not be using a seat. This ticket was refunded immediately and a new order confirmation issued. Thank you.
DISHONEST THIEVES, SCAM COMPANY, AVOID AT ALL COSTS
We are in Australia and booked tickets for Six the Musical at the Vaudeville Theatre, back in September of 2022, for this July of 2023.
Both Qantas and Qatar cancelled our overseas flights, so we were forced to cancel all shows that we had booked.
I reached out to Nimax Theatres, but they refused to refund, nor even send the tickets to me, stating that they would only send the tickets out 72 hours beforehand. I contacted them twice and had emails from Lauren M, and Tanya, who both could not have cared less. In the end this dreadful scam company never even bothered to send me the tickets, which we purchased. So, without doubt, they resold them and profited twice for all three seats. We wonder how legal this is as it would never be allowed to happen in Australia. I would never deal with Nimax Theatres again, and truly hope that they really suffer in the future as they have made my family suffer.

Would give a zero if I could. Paid £140 to see an American actress, she couldn’t make that night. Didn’t tell us and refused a refund or exchange of tickets. Con artists! Don’t buy tickets from these guys!!!!
The worst customer service I’ve ever…
The worst customer service I’ve ever come across and I now avoid shows that are at any Nimax Theatres.
They sell seats and then release better ones and won’t do anything about it and they need to realise Covid is over,there sending tickets only 24 hours before the show is now ridiculous.
Very poor customer service
I visited the theatre to watch both parts of Harry Potter the cursed child, I unfortunately had someone sit in front of me covering 90% of my view. Now we all know this is not a cheap show to watch however customers were being moved to other seats during the performance due to issues and visibility, a family of 4 were moved sitting right next to me further up the stalls.
When I asked I was told the theatre was full even though there were empty seats in both shows.
I emailed a picture of my view to customer services after the show as the picture clearly shows I had very little visibility.
Their answer was they can’t control where people sit, when I asked why were others moved apart from me they just decided to ignore me.
Tanya poor customer service
Tanya from customer service deserves 0 stars if I could. Lyric Theatre address is mentioned no where on their tickets or on any emails. Tanya is blaming me instead for not finding the location. Nothing is more unfair than being blamed for something which they should have provided. Don’t waste your money on purchasing tickets from Nimax Theatre. Also phone customer service when making a complaint is also not helpful as I spoke to a man and he got very awkward and refused to help. Very unprofessional team.
Good experience
Attended the Derren Brown - Showman at the Apollo last night. It was amazing!!!!! The staff at the venue were all friendly and accommodating. The only reason I dropped 1 star is because I had to chase up for my tickets as I hadn't received them 72hrs before the show, but they responded the same day with my tickets.
Seems most of the bad reviews on here are from people who had to cancel their booking / couldn't attend. It's never great when you can't get money back, but it does say on their website about cancelling

Scam company Scam company- do not use this company. They said they couldn't find my rescheduling request done on there own portsl, I done within there requirement. So I had either attend or try and sell on the day even though no one got back to me regarding changing dates. Loads of previous ticket holders had the same experience and worse. Please please AVOID THIS COMPANY. There is no support for customers like use to take action further. Ridiculous!!!!
Nimax theatres are fraudsters
Nimax theatres are fraudsters. They took £140 From me for a resale ticket online and when I couldn’t attend the show because I needed to help family in an emergency, they said my ticket didn’t resell even though it was confirmed that the performance was sold out. They outright lied about it, didn’t put my ticket for resale because I checked on the site to see if they put it back up and there was nothing for two days. I’m going to report them to gov.uk and hopefully someone will start investigating this company because no other theatre does this.
Awful customer service with untrained ruthless staff
I wish I didn’t have to write such a bad review. But the customer service I received on the phone to a young lady was appalling.
I was due to watch the Get Up Stand Up show tomorrow 15/11 as a present for my dad’s 60th birthday.
Unfortunately, he fell unwell this morning and I rang up to see if we could reschedule. I understand that the policy is >48 h but of course we would not have expected him to fall sick the day after his bday and the day before the event.
I emailed and contacted the customer services line to be met with a very rude, facety girl who gave zero care or compassion and did not try to help in any way.
When I asked if we could reschedule the answer was no. When I asked if I could speak to someone senior - no. This girl was truly savage. Wish I took her name tbh.
Baring in mind, the train company and restaurant I had also booked also had policies to not to refund any payment due to the time, they were more than happy to help when I spoke to them. Which I was very grateful for.
Overall really disappointing experience as we were really looking forward to this and now have lost nearly £200 which is not what you need in this cost of living crisis.

Customer service agent had no empathy or understanding and was extremely unhelpful and talked to me like i was stupid. Also, the information you receive via email of when to contact customer service is incorrect and not supported by customer services.

Read the poor reviews and had to give my experience as I doubt many people bother if they have a good one. Booked tickets for Harry Potter and The Cursed Child totally messed it up my fault, emailed on a weekend to explain and ask for amendments to be done. Received email back advising Mon-Fri high volumes of emails may take a few days. Received email from Aidan later in week confirming he had sorted all out for me, so I am very pleased with customer service I received.

3 of us booked to see bob marley but we then suffered a loss and tickets had to be changed etc...all well until i went to log in and ticket was for wrong day wrong time wrong seats, it was a saturday so i rang up and was told no exchanges given over the weekend, so i had to purchase another ticket and was told id recieve a refund if i called back monday as the circumstances of the first changes were heartbreaking ones, this has been since the 10th of sept and no refund no exchange just passing the buck between quay tickets and nimax, id of even seen the show again if thats what was offered but no, no responses,no return phone calls, just blag blag blag, shame on you for causing such a problem for a customer when the mistakes are on you and your no exchange at weekend, i will keep on calling and pestering until i have too

Awful customer service. Tested positive for Covid the day before the performance, requested an exchange by email and over the phone and refused because we were within 48 hour exchange period. Nomad Theatres website advises that you don’t attend if you have Covid, but customer service representative denied this on the phone. I’ll never book with them again. Dreadful.

Nimax who look after bookings in Ldon Theatre have 48 cancellation policy.? When I said there was no way of contacting them, Nimax said unlucky I should have still GONE. No chance of rescheduling me despite them not being contactable Saturday before the show
Really poor customer service
Really poor customer service, lacking any type of empathy and customer care, in it for the quick buck and has an unrealistic view on how things should work with theatre and entertainment venues in this modern age.
Polly was less than helpful and abrupt to deal with, and will avoid them where I can for future shows. Really shoddy.
Please book through another means, todaytix are much more amenable for unforeseen circumstances.

Customer services very helpful in particular Rosie. A situation arose which took a little understanding and compassion before the pre-booked event in 1 weeks time and rather than stick to the terms and conditions to which they were well within their rights they sorted the situation out. Wouldn't hesitate to book with Nimax Theaters again. Easy and simple from start to finish.

It would have beem 5 stars but teach you staff members to be polite and patient with customers.
Audience members are positive amosphere to be entertained and need guidancd. I was interested i purchasing a booklet but wasn't spoken to like a human being.
A staff member asked me to repeat 3 X as if I wasn't speaking English. One women and men were mocking me as I worked away after asking ice cream price. Incredibly rude and made me feel uncomfortable. I also think a women outside was responding poorly to people of colour.
Beware using this company! Awful customer service and try to over charge you.
Nimax Theatres have awful customer service I went to purchase tickets at 8am this morning and it said the tickets were £80, put the card details in and clicked pay then it said my basket had expired even though I had 10 mins left to check out.
Went back to add the tickets back to my basket to try again and they had increased the price by £20! So basically if you show your interested in the tickets they will just raise the price which is disgusting.
Tried to call customer service was on hold for 32 mins before they then hung up on me so then called the booking line to get through to a rude agent called Megan who said basically the price has gone up tough.
