★☆☆☆☆ – Worst experience in Copenhagen

This review refers to the property “Spacious 3B w/Double Beds - Copenhagen City Centre” managed by Nest Collection.

We were notified of a security breach involving guest data, but communication was vague and lacked meaningful apology or reassurance.

The apartment was barely clean, and walking barefoot immediately revealed how poorly it had been cleaned. The “third bedroom” is not part of the apartment: it is a separate, cold room across the landing. Anyone needing the bathroom at night must exit the apartment, which is completely impractical.

There were major safety issues: appliances required grounding but only ungrounded adapters were provided; the electric stovetop is old and unreliable; windows are unsafe and we were warned they could break in the wind; and the staircase is narrow, worn, and slippery.

Ventilation in the bathroom barely works, and a sign asks guests to leave the door open afterward — a clear sign of an unresolved problem.

Noise was severe: upstairs guests partied loudly until around 3 AM, with heavy movement that shook the entire apartment. There was no intervention or support.

The TV was unusable: no antenna connection and no Wi-Fi TV connection for streaming.

There is no luggage storage, and early check-in/late check-out costs extra. Given the issues, this was the worst experience we’ve had in Copenhagen.

DO NOT rent from this company and DO…

DO NOT rent from this company and DO NOT trust the Marriot Homes and Villas connection. The management is terrible and unethical. We had to vacate an apartment due to noxious odors and are initiating a lawsuit against Marriott and Nest. STAY AWAY.

Serious Breach of Security

My recent stay at Kombmagergade 46 3.1 was severely compromised by an unacceptable and frankly terrifying security breach. Due to the negligence of the management, the master access code to our apartment was also provided to a complete stranger, resulting in them entering our private living space without our consent at night. We had a baby present. When we contacted the costumer service immediately, Glen's response was slow and dismissive, failing to acknowledge the severity of the situation. I strongly urge anyone considering staying at this property to look elsewhere for accommodation where your security is taken seriously. This experience was deeply unsettling and has left us with serious concerns about the management's practices.

Zero customer experience

We rented, via booking, an apartment in Copenhagen for two nights at a cost of 899 Euros in august 2024 located at Mikkel Bryggers Gade 10, 1460 Copenhagen.

The morning after our first night, there was no electricity at all in the entire apartment.

We contacted Nest Collection, the management company, at 9 a.m. and repeatedly by e-mail and telephone throughout the day, to report and resolve the problem.

At 6 p.m. (!!!) the final answer from Nest Collection was "the power will be restored tomorrow morning between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m." (which is after our departure)!

Nest Collective then offered us neither alternative accommodation nor a full refund, but a one-night refund for staying in accommodation without electricity!

It’s unacceptable to rent a property where the electricity is not functioning (regardless of the reason) and not offer alternative accommodation or a full refund, especially since we were unable to have lighting, cook, bathe, or charge electronic devices, during our stay.

And to top it all off:
- windowless bathroom with traces of mould,
- noisy apartment,
- no blackout curtains for daylight.

At this level of non-service and lack of respect for the customer, we feel insulted.

Fantastic employees

Fantastic employees. Their team went above and beyond to make sure we were taken well care of during our time in Copenhagen, Denmark. Apartment was nice and clean when arriving. They offered to clean the apartment once a weak as well. Enjoyed our stay!

Havde en god oplevelse da jeg skulle…

Havde en god oplevelse da jeg skulle til københavn. Alt spillede og der var intet at sætte en finger på. De ansatte var servicemindet og tilgænglig hvis man lige havde spørgsmål til de forskellige ting. Lejlighenden var lækker og rengjort. Kan varmt anbefale at booke hos Nest. Det er helt sikkert ikke sidste gang. Tak for en god oplevelse.

I rented one of their apartments in…

I rented one of their apartments in Copenhagen while working overseas. Stayed there for 7 months. Helpful staff and nice interior. Very central apartment . Had a few issues while living there, luckily they were quick to aid me and resolve it.

Disappointed with our stay at the…

Disappointed with our stay at the Canals property, we found it necessary to share our experience to alert others. While the location deserves commendation, our overall impression fell far short of the high price we paid for the rental.

Let's start with the positives—the location and mattress comfort are indeed excellent. However, beyond that, our experience was marred by numerous shortcomings. Despite the substantial price tag of 19,000 DKK, our high expectations based on what we agreed to pay were not met.

The state of the apartment's shower was appalling. The extensive buildup of limescale was neglected, presenting an unsightly and unhygienic situation and the shower design lacked a curtain or door, resulting in a lot of water on the floor. as the shower is located between the toilet and the sink, everyone is forced to walk through the slippery, wet area after each shower. Basic amenities such as a kitchen sponge or washcloth were missing, and when requested, the response implied reliance on the dishwasher was impractical for preparing meals for our group of six. Additionally, the absence of basic, essential items like salt, pepper, oil, and coffee diminished the value of the rental. The kitchen equipment provided was lacking for a practical stay, with one pan, two pots, and no toaster.

Further disappointment arose when requesting clean towels, only to find them delivered without prior notice and while the wet, soiled towels were not removed. Despite assurances, the promised pickup of used towels never materialized. Similarly, a request for new tea towels went unfulfilled.

The quality of furnishings did not meet expectations either. Wobbly dining chairs and inadequate seating arrangements detracted from comfort and functionality. Maintenance issues, such as a dead light bulb in the living room and cumbersome lighting controls, that created too much or too little light further compounded our dissatisfaction.

The physical aspects of the property also left much to be desired. The heavy slamming of the courtyard door and sticky entry door were constant inconveniences. The secondary bathroom seat was loose and unstable, and the provided toilet tissue was of substandard quality at this price point.

Despite repeated attempts to address our concerns and seek a promised price adjustment, communication with the company post-stay has proven futile.

Overall, our experience left us with the impression of a profit-driven venture lacking in warmth and attention to detail. It appears that the hosts have overlooked the needs of their guests, providing a soulless accommodation experience despite Denmark's renowned design and friendliness.

Undgå NEST Collection og Copenhagen Living Team

I uge 42 2023 lejede vi en lejlighed af NEST Collection på Østerbrogade 39 i København, som var med tre soveværelser med dobbeltseng. Lejligheden vi fik var med to soveværelser med dobbeltseng samt et lille rum med køjeseng. Altså slet ikke den vi havde lejet. Og alt var i stykker. El- og vvs-arbejdet var udført af amatører. Hele lejligheden stank af kloak. Der var iskoldt og næsten ingen radiatorer. Der var møgbeskidt. Møbler, senge og gulvtæpper virkede nyt. Fx var dyner og puder ikke blevet vasket inden brug. Det var forfærdeligt mht. allergi. Stuen var oversprøjtet med parfume. Der var meget lidt lys, for alt var i stykker: Lamper, pærer, stikkontakter, toiletbræt, toilethylde, køkkenskuffer. Fx var der ingen lampe i entreen. Vi fik ingen penge tilbage af de 5250 kr. for 4 nætter, selvom de skrev, at deres finance department manager ville ringe til os, hvilket personen aldrig gjorde.
