Neptune - Reading Recenzje 

I ordered a bed base and headboard at the end of July 2021. It has not yet been delivered. First it was the problem with the Suez canal, then it was Covid. They tried to deliver last week, saying they couldn't guarantee they wouldn't damage my newly refinished floors in the building of the flat pack; I felt sick. In the end it didn't matter because whatever came was broken and was taken away. Neptune must have either (1) morons working in the paint shop - because how did that pass quality control or (2) be operating sharp working practices whereby the delivery guys carry a broken thing with them to fool and pacify waiting customers. I paid the deposit timely. I paid the (now reduced) balance when asked, despite not being given a delivery date at that point.What was I thinking? I must have been off my head. I will never buy any large item from them again. The experience of purchasing of the bed base and decorating of my bedroom has been completely ruined by Neptune. I could cry with sadness or rage at the way this has been dealt with. I am now never going to be able to enjoy the bed base. I keep trying to be a good customer and not get cross. Why do I do this? I am unbelievably angry. And Neptune - when you read this bear in mind that you sent me the email asking for feedback. I didn't go looking.

Several weeks later the bed base has finally been delivered. The delivery experience itself was a very good one. I need not have worried about my floors, the delivery men were very kind and sensitive to the needs of the task, very customer oriented. Neptune contacted me after my delivery as part of their customer care. Although previously I did not believe for a minute that I could possibly enjoy my new bed and newly decorated room after this experience, since speaking to Will I am now able to move forward. The customer care experience has also been effective. Although I'm not sure how I feel about ordering anything big again, this particular matter is now resolved to a satisfactory level. Kudos to the delivery guys and Will in equal measure.

Happy to give a glowing report for all at Neptune Reading. Particular mention must go to my fabulous kitchen designer Christina and installer Glen, what a superb job they have both done. Its been months in the planning (our build issues not Neptune) but finally I am the proud owner of a stunning Suffolk kitchen and my goodness it was worth the wait. Thoroughly recommend Neptune and can't wait to furnish the rest of our house. Very satisfied customer.

Really pleasant and knowledgeable team at the Reading branch. Backed up by Brilliant delivery teams - which is sooooo unusual!! Decided we didn’t like what we’d ordered - no fault of Neptune. Item replaced inside a week. Great customer service and people you can speak to!!!

I ordered some garden, wicker furniture & a picture. The guys who delivered my chairs were super helpful and unwrapped and placed them in my garden. Very impressed. Furniture is lovely and very happy. The picture was wrapped in such a way that there was glue on the glass. Worried for a while that it wouldn’t come off but thankfully it did. All in all top service & quality, as expected

Table was faulty when installed, which was spotted by the installers. Although it took a long time for a replacement we were pleased with the outcome. Both installers were service orientated and professional.

Over the moon, with both my gorgeous new kitchen and the amazing customer service every step of the way.

The showroom is very attractive to walk around. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Ordering my two sofas was easy and I was kept well informed regarding lead times and they were ready when I expected. Thankfully, Neptune were able to hold my sofas until such time as I was ready to receive them - always very understanding and happy to accommodate me. Would definitely shop from Neptune again and would happily recommend.

Ordered two wall lights at the beginning of October. They were due in 19th heard nothing. Went into the shop in November to be told they would be in a week later. Then I received an email to say December. When they finally arrived we opened them in the shop and one of the glass shades were chipped! Ended up having to have a shade off the shop floor. Very disappointing! They were not cheap lights and I don’t think the quality is great. Not worth the money.
To my surprise this time the staff were very helpful. Unlike my previous visits.

I will continue to travel to Reading, which isn’t actually my closest store, just because of their service. You are all wonderful!

I love the Neptune stores- I have been to the one in Reading and the one near Fleet- the shops have a beautiful collection of furnishings and are very inspiring. In both shops I found the Neptune team very helpful.
Orders in the past were always delivered on time by a polite and very helpful delivery team. Thank you! I can definitely recommend!

Products looks great but the quality is poor and customer service shocking. Nice but certainly not quality.

Having just purchased a new house, we decided to refurnish completely, using Neptune because of their supposed reputation. Our first order was on 5/6/21. 3 more orders for multiple items followed in July and August. The first 4 of 5 items delivered were faulty and had to be returned. It would appear their quality control was non- existent. Some items have been delivered sporadically but we are still awaiting 3 items and 1 replacement. We have heard today, after requesting an update, that a headboard we ordered on 5/6/21, still showing a lead time of 3-5 weeks, is now expected in January 2022. Please note that everything has to be paid upfront and in total.
Neptune have recently invited us to complete a customer review and in spite of us detailing the problems we have encountered, no response from senior management has occurred .It does make one wonder if the company is serious about customer satisfaction or merely ticking boxes.
To be fair, they have given us vouchers as some form of compensation, but these equate to less than 10% of our total spend.
That is the situation so far and we will continue to update the progress of our deliveries and condition of the furniture as it arrives.
