Great fire safety training

Simple to follow, easy to read - the Level 6 Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment from NSA is definitely for me.

Straight forward and informative

I am delighted to say that I have successfully completed this course. It is an essential programme for fire safety professionals, as well as for anyone aspiring to enter the field and broaden their understanding of fire safety principles, applications, and methodologies.

This was by no means an easy course. It was highly demanding and clearly designed to challenge participants at an advanced level. However, that is precisely what made it so valuable. The structure of the course provided accurate, in-depth knowledge and a solid foundation for carrying out fire safety inspections and risk assessments with far greater precision and confidence.

As a firefighter, I found the learning particularly beneficial. It enhanced my understanding of the many critical factors that must be considered before approaching hazards and operational risks. It also offered a systematic framework for identifying risks and implementing effective control measures to reduce them to an acceptable level.

What I appreciated most was the intellectual depth of the programme. It reinforced an important truth: the more one learns, the more one recognises how much remains to be understood. That humility is central to true professional development.

I would like to sincerely thank the National Safety Academy for delivering such an outstanding and rigorous body of material. Completing this course successfully is an achievement I am proud of, and one that will undoubtedly strengthen my professional practice moving forward.

The presentation was clear and concise to cover the main changes and different approach this updated version of the Standard takes.

I have completed the Fire Risk Assessment course this week and must say, this is by far the best course I have ever taken.
The content is incredibly in-depth, and the course layout is simply fantastic. For someone who struggles to maintain concentration for long periods of time, this course allowed me to become lost in it for hours.
I had previously completed a level 3 in Fire Risk Assessment and can confirm my knowledge has increased exponentially after completion.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone with an interest in fire safety. Very proud to hold this qualification.

The contents were clear and easy to understand. Impactful

This was a concise but very insightful look at the fundamental changes to BS8214:2026.
It was formed to a very high standard and focused on several key factors.

I recenly completed the diploma in fire risk assessment, whilst challenging it was enjoyable. The study material well written in depth and very well presented. Nothing bad to say at all, and would recommend the course to all fellow professionals.

Challenging course, but very much worth it. It has really helped me improve the way I conduct fire risk assessments. Had completed the NEBOSH Fire years ago, but this was much more comprehensive and more like the real world.

For a new platform it's all pretty move, prompt marking and feedback, good course material and they take feedback onboard to improve such as making textbooks available, allowing access to the next module while awaiting marking, which it didn't when I started.

I felt like I could study when I want and where appropriate provide feedback as others have to minor issues in the platform.

The course I did was the Diploma in Fire Risk Assessment, it is about risk assessment, so it isn't going to be tick box exam style questions about standards etc and candidates need to be aware of that.

Aside from a few tricky bits in terms of jumping back and forth between sections of course material (now addressed by providing text books), it's a good platform and no different to any Moodle style courses.

A short but very comprehensive CPD course with some effective signposting to future qualifications and CPD.

Having already studied the Fire Risk Assessors course, I proceeded to undertake the Fire Door Inspection Course and was not dissapointed. Excellent course content, varied and differering assessments that not only cover technical knowledge but also verbal communication, written communication and report writing. Staff very happy to engage with questions promptly and support learners.
