Telta life air awning looked fantastic in the show room just what we wanted.After only 30 days of use over 18 months the roof changed colour from grey to orange.
I would like to make everyone out there aware £1600 is a lot of money to spend for it to look 10 years old.
Do not buy !

Placed an order directly with MyTelta for a replacement bladder for our new lounge awning as it’s developed a puncture. Received the order confirmation on 5th April. Chased for an update on 13th April using their info@ email - no response. Filled in their web form on 20th April - no confirmation and still no response. No acknowledgement or updates. Happy to take my money but can’t fulfil or communicate. Really disappointed

We have a 2 year old 260 Pure air awning
Good points, no condensation, no rain leaks.

Bad points blown air tube, leaking air tube both replaced under warranty via the Company we purchased the awning from.

The awning has only been used in the UK, and it has faded, and the roof and sides are now dirty beige colour

Telta have said “ Unfortunately, UV degradation is an unavoidable part of outdoor use over time. While fading or colour change is often one of the first visible signs, the material can still retain its strength and functionality for quite some time.
To help slow down the effects of UV exposure, we recommend using a waterproofing spray – not for waterproofing itself, but because many such sprays include UV inhibitors that help protect the fabric.

And that they are unable to help further.

This is despite their awning being advertised stating this “ Breathable, Durable, and UV-Resistant Material “

Purchased a Telta 390 Pure supplied with a 3 year guarentee. We used it as per their documentation whilst away this week we arrived back at the site to find the awning on the floor went to reinflate only to find that the main air tube had blown and completly contacted the supplying dealer who spoke with Telta rep who says its chargeable i can only say buyer beware of this company

No response from Telta to my email complaint that the replacement bladder for my Telta Life 330 burst on first inflation of awning at 6psi. This was after the original bladder burst after one season of use inflating to 7psi never to the 9psi Telta say should be inflated to. Appalling customer service

I was in the market for a new awning for my caravan and looking round all the different suppliers and all the different makes of awnings we decided to settle on the Telta brand the build quality is excellent with the upgraded tubes and they are more substantial which is what we need in an air awning. My thoughts are awning has been designed around the end user rather than just stuck on a production line without any consideration for the caravan or motorhome user. I have met the Telta sales reps at Yorkshire caravans and dealt with them online gathering information. The customer services are spot-on with all my questions answered instantly a very professional company with good backup support so if you’re looking for a new awning I would highly recommend you visit the Telta website as I am really impressed with both the awning and the customer support.
