I LOVE everything about this travel agent.
The staff are friendly & proffessional.
John, their flight guru is simply amazing. I was having so much trouble planning a trip to Nepal & he found the flights I wanted, at the price I wanted.
Gemma organised our holiday to Filitheyo Island Resort in the Maldives & it was beyond brilliant. The island, the people, the food, the water OMG!!
Everything went to plan & the little extra touches were appreciated.
The only problem....is deciding where to go to next!

We are in our last day of our trip to Sri Lanka and enjoyed it very much. Roshan our guide was informative, his knowledge about Sri Lanka was second to none and nothing was too much trouble.
We were in a group of ten and were fortunate to be in Kandy for the Hera Petra festival, Roshan organised tickets for us to attend and we got some great photos of the procession.
We opted for the 4star accommodation and most of the hotels were very good.
Would highly recommend this travel agency for your future travels and a big thank you to Roshan and his co helpers for all their care.

Having found by online search a tour of Sri Lanka that included Jaffna in the north (which many others don't) we looked at MyHoliday2's itinerary for the 15-day group tour and were impressed.

The group turned out to be just the two of us as our driver/guide informed us on pickup. There were advantages in that as it meant we weren't waiting anywhere for others and our driver/guide – Nandana – could adjust the itinerary to best suit us.

Our accommodation and included meals during the tour were excellent, with the exception of the hotel in Ella, where construction work right above our room went on until almost midnight, despite the hotel claiming work finished at 7pm. Nandana was horrified to be told this and would ensure this hotel is not used again until construction (of another floor) is completed.

We found Nandana to be an excellent driver and guide, and appreciated his keeping explanations and histories of the sites visited brief and relevant.

An unanticipated benefit of booking the trip (going on to the Maldives and Singapore) with MyHoliday2 was that their flights wholesaler was able to arrange our flights at far less cost than we would've paid by booking online.

Just returned from the 12 days of Sri Lanka Tour. Only 6 travellers in our group so tour guide Rashan was able to personalise some outings to suit. We used 3 star accomodation option and all the hotels provided were clean and comfortable with swimming pools to help with the heat. Organised tours were good although busy as it was European holiday time. Our guide Rashan was most knowledgeable on local history and very proud of his country.Just remember that Sri Lanka is still a third world country so does not offer all the comforts of home but has a very diverse and interesting landscape. Would recommend this tour through My holiday 2 but advise paying for your optional tours as you go not before leaving home and credit cards are not widely accepted so take local rupees. Don’t forget to obtain a visa either online through smarttraveller or at airport. Cost should only be $50 US.

LEFT ON OUR OWN, as two ladies we booked this trip for the safety of traveling with a group tour through Türkiye, there was no group tour or the same tour guide, it was a virtual tour representative on WhatsApp and only a day trips in each location.
I could of done this myself & saved lots of money.

Not told by myholiday2 that our Turkish travel representative was going to message us though WhatsApp, finally he contacted the hotel.
We where left unsure & confused on what was going on from day to day, as no pick up time was provided and we had to message our Turkish representative very night for pickup time for the next day.
Our Turkish representative had no idea what was happening either.
He got very short with us and told us (it’s on your itinerary), but no time was provided.
Other times on our myholiday2 itinerary, pickup times was incorrect by 4 hours & location by a whole day, so you could not be prepared for that days activities. As only a pickup time was sent.
We sometimes had to question times he sent, as we had flights & it just didn’t add up.
Other time nobody turned up & sometime in a unmarked private car, leaving us felling unsafe.
Long days, early starts & after a full day tour then driving 3 or 4 hours to your hotel, arriving late at our hotels 9pm & 10pm, missing breakfast & dinner.

The day tour guide laughed when he read our itinerary and said myholiday2 has no idea of the distance between locations & where tourist attractions are located in Türkiye.
UNSAFE: Organising & booking Cappadocia balloon flight was a nightmare, our virtual WhatsApp tour representative, never got back to us, after messaging him again, he messaged none available, then yes available and of course he got the wrong day… we had to pay 520usd cash.
As we had no tour guide he sent a driver to pick up the cash, we handed over all that cash in a laneway outside our hotel to a man that could not speak a word of English.
14 day Ultimate Türkiye tour was not a group tour, it was just day trip in each location, as we all know day trip are very rushed.
By law day trips have to visit a Turkish Industry in every tour, so we visited 3 carpet factory outlets & 2 leather factory outlets 2 jewellery factory outlets ect, a lot of wasted time seeing the same things over & over but we missed out on other location that I was looking forward to visiting on the myholiday2 itinerary, we had only 10 minutes at the grand bazaar ect.

Myholiday2 is slow at responding 2 & half months to finalise the investigation.
Myholiday2 response: The tour was conducted as planned with slight itinerary adjustments made by the land operator for improved comfort. Any missed items were made up with alternative attractions.
myholiday2 & our Turkish supplier followed usual standards.

Myholiday2 you need to raise you’re standard & honour what’s on your itinerary.
I would like my question answered.
So for the 10 time please answer my questions please.
1. Why didn’t you tell us this is not a group tour & only day trips.
2. Why didn’t you tell us we had to have WhatsApp & that the only communication we would have.
Yes your Turkish suppliers did answer all the questions which I already knew the answer, because was there.
And witness the complete stuff on your Itinerary.

Loved Türkiye its a dream location very beautiful & full of people beautiful people that was very helpful & caring.
I would not recommend this 14 day Ultimate Türkiye trip through myholiday2.

Sri Lanka is a beautiful country to visit. Small group tours (there were only 4 in our group) with a wonderful local guide made it feel very personalised. All the accommodation was very good (we chose the 4 star option). Would highly recommend this tour company.

We arrived in Colombo and we were met by our guide, Roshan who gave us a very warm welcome to Sri Lanka.
The hotels we stayed in were excellent with all the facilities we needed to enjoy our trip and the itinerary was perfect. Roshan was very knowledgeable and told us all about the history of the areas we visited and the vegetation that was growing, he even knew the bird life!
Nothing was too much trouble. The experience we had was second to none and considering we are both in our 70’s we found everywhere we went we were well catered for.
We felt very safe travelling with Roshan and he knew the area we travelled very well.
This was our first time in Sri Lanka and we were so amazed at the friendliness of the people and how much there was to see.
We travelled in trains, tuk tuks, 4 wheel drive, catamaran and a bullock cart.
We saw so much wildlife, tea, banana and coconut plantations and beautiful waterfalls. We learnt how tea was made and visited a spice garden and found out the medicinal properties.
We cannot praise Roshan enough for what he did for us.
Myholiday2 planned an exceptional
Package that we wouldn’t call a holiday but an adventure.
We hope to return in the future and we wish Roshan and his family all the very best.

Just returned from 16 day Borneo tour. Fantastic tour. Good price, good guides, interesting and varied experiences. Would highly recommend tis tour company and the tour.

Our holiday – Vietnam 11 days then Cambodia 9 days. Departed 1st May 2024.
Vietnam we were in a small group 8/10. Really nice group of people and we had a lot of fun. Cambodia ended up being just the two of us which was great too.

Vietnam Hotels - we chose the 4 star hotels - all but one was amazing. Hanoi - Pearl Hotel, Le Journey Cruise – Ha Long Bay and Royal Riverside Hotel – Hoi An, were all great. Excellent locations, great pools, bars, food and drinks. Spotlessly clean, beautiful rooms. Staff in all of these places, were awesome and did every little thing to make our holiday wonderful.

Central Palace Saigon Hotel – Ho Chi Minh City - one of the worst hotels ever, as far as service goes. Reception staff, were OK. Staff everywhere else looked like they really didn’t want to be there. We were sent from reception to three different floors looking for pool towels – by the time we arrived back at the pool it was closed. Often there were no bar staff at the rooftop pool, we used the phone behind the bar to call for service. Most of the floors around the rooftop area were grubby. It is a shame because the views of the city from here are to die for, especially in the evening. Excellent location, rooms were very nice and clean. This hotel could be so much better. Or MH2 should consider using a different hotel.

The transfer at the marina for Ha Long Bay was a little confusing - fend for ourselves, after the guide gave us a printed itinerary and left - the staff there finding it difficult to pronounce any of our names.

All other transfers to and from airports and hotels were very good. Our guides and drivers were excellent.

We did a lot of research for our trip - we did not buy any extra day tours through MH2. We booked extra trips, with ease, when we were in the locations and that was great for us.

Cambodia - we chose 4 star hotels- all amazing. Frangipani Royal Palace – Phnom Penh, The J Break Hotel – Kampot, La Passion Resort – Koh Rong Saloem and Stug Hotel – Siam Reap. Excellent locations, great pools, bars, food and drinks. Spotlessly clean, beautiful rooms. Staff in all of these places were awesome and did every little thing to make our holiday wonderful.

A few minor hiccups, with MH2 – before going, sent us generic itineraries - MH2 did send correct ones when we asked. A couple of other typo’s on itineraries, which, showed other people’s names – not very private. An email, that we received on the last day in Vietnam - showed us flying back to Melbourne the next day, when we were in fact flying from Ho Chi Minh City to Phnom Penh.

We had an awesome holiday. Loved Vietnam and Cambodia for the beautiful people we met and different adventures we experienced.

We had a fantastic experience with MyHoliday2. Starting with a great choice of trips at really low prices, the team in Townsville were really helpful and all our documents were easily found on the website. The trip itself was really well planned and organised, our guide was fantastic and there was a perfect balance between organised activities and free time. The wildlife we saw was incredible and we will remember the experience forever. Thanks so much.

Trip overall was good but one place made this a 4 star and not 5. My original accomodation on day 5 was Mount Kinabalu Perkasa Hotel, instead we were taken to Sabah Tea cottages. This was backpacker level. When we arrived NO WATER which meant no toilets or shower and after travelling for hours on bus this was a terrible situation. My first room I refused because of mould, second room tilles cracked in shower window not closed ( bugs filled room) ,no tv only malay language , no internet unless sat outside at night in outside room. Disgusting and why the change one can only guess it was much cheaper than original hotel.NEVER USE this sub standard accomodation again!!!!
Otherwise trip was good.

This was a wonderful experience. My husband an I were the only two on the trip. The guide was excellent and so knowledgeable, the transport and accommodation were faultless. Such great value for money.

The office is based in Australia & provides prompt friendly customer service. We were 2 couples who made 2 separate booking for Insurance reasons. The office linked the 2 bookings together which was great as we knew we would be travelling together. Small groups, only 6 on our Borneo tour plus the driver & guide. Very personalized service & being a small group meant flexibility when necessary. Content of tour was as described. We were lucky & saw a lot of wildlife which was very special.

You need to take local currency. Most places outside the major towns don't have Eftpos facilities. We are non drinkers nor buyers of souvenirs; we would rather have the holiday experiences. AU$400-$500 in local currency was sufficient for the 2 of us.

Don't really need any special clothing, just keep in mind the humidity& sun factor when packing. I found some great info in the Blog section of the MyHoliday2 website about what to take but found this after the trip. So, check this out as it will certainly take a bit of guess work out of the equation.

All sleeping accommodation was airconditioned, so was the minibus but some of the eating areas are open air. We had no problems with mosquitos, bugs or leaches but then we really didn't rough it either and had no rain.

Had a hiccup due to weather conditions in Sydney on departure which meant missed flight connections & a loss of 1 day in Borneo. This was out of the control of Myholiday2.

MyHoliday2 have a great selection of well-priced Holidays to choose from, so it's going to be hard to know which one to do next

Just got back from a 12 day tour Vietnam Cambodia, had a great time . The co ordination with the tour guide in each city was exceptional. Had no issues what so ever. Only complaint was the 4 star hotel in HCM city. The air con was out in the dining room and it was so hot in there , they had portable fans installed but they were blowing warm air ! It was terrible , I asked one of the staff what was going on,he said it’s being repaired we would’ve put you in the function room but that was booked out for a conference. I’d source another hotel . Microphones in buses would’ve been good,most times we couldn’t hear the guide talking. All in all we had a great time

Our 10 day holiday in Turkey was great and very memorable. This was made possible by Koray, our tour guide who was with us all the way. He was very accommodating, patient and know everything about teh history of all the places we visited.

We will book our next holiday with MyHoliday2. Highly Recommended!!!

Experience in Sri Lanka with small group was an eye opening and exciting introduction. A longer amount of time ie 2 to 3 days in each area would have been a more useful timeframe. Felt like too much time travelling and less time immersed in culture. Ajith the guide was responsive and flexible to the groups interests. Generally a great experience.

Just finished our 12 day tour of Sri Lanka. Dissa our tour guide/driver was fantasic. Knowledgable and very safety conscious whilst driving. This enhanced our Sri Lankan experience.
Suggestions for MyHoliday2 - Description of hotel accommodation facilities was limited. We had to undertake our own research. Advice in relation to air carrier and departing terminal changed without proper consultation.

Well organised and covered all experiences as per itinerary. Amazing photo opportunities with orang-utans, sun bears, turtles, monkeys and birds, etc. Unfortunately, we didn't see the elusive pygmy elephants, even although they were closeby.

Japan Golden Route.

I have done over a dozen group tours, and this was the first I was really disappointed with. MyHoliday2 is a 3rd party provider, in other words they take the money, then farm you out to the actual tour operators.

I have mobility issues, and asked a number of questions before booking about accessibility - about distances required to walk etc. MyHoliday2 gave me answers that convinced me to book, but when the final itinerary came to me ( just 2 weeks before travel), my requests had not been taken into account.

I'd booked additional pre-nights on being assured they'd be in a centrally located hotel in Osaka and the pre-nights would be in the same hotel as the initial tour hotel. On release if the itinerary, it turned out night one of the tour was in an airport hotel - $200 taxi from central Osaka. So I had to choose to either change hotels, or stay far away from the city. Either way i would have $200 taxi fare to pay.

Nextly, I booked 3 optional day tours, after being assured that all would include hotel pick ups.

It turned out one was a walking tour (! - and again, I'll mention my mobility issues).

One was hotel pick up - hooray.

But for the 3rd tour, Nikko, I was required to make my way across Tokyo, a 40 min train trip, during peak hour to get to the meeting point. Something I knew was not possible for me, and which I'd confirmed would not be necessary when I booked.

(NB The tour was about 75 people, over 2 buses - the other bus was accommodated in a hotel next to the pick up point. If that had been the case for me, I could have done the Nikko tour, but I do not think there was clear communication between MyHoliday, and the actual tour operators.)

I cancelled directly with the in country operator, who advised me I had done so in time to receive a refund, and to let myHoliday2 know. I did so, and received a reply 3 days later, telling me no refunds were possible due to their "policies". I could have given the tour to another traveller if I'd known this,but by the time I got the reply it was too late. $500 down the drain.

The schedule was weird too...there's 2 nights in Osaka in the middle, but both days you go to Kyoto...? So that's an hour each way for no good reason.

In order to get your ride on the Shinkansen, there's a 3.5 hour wait at Kyoto Station. They organise nothing for you to do, there's no seating, and it made for a really long, pointless day. In Hiroshoma, you stay way out of town, in a hotel no where near any facilitues.

Other issues, between the itinerary I signed up for and the real itinerary being released ( which you'll only get to see two weeks out from your trip) there were hotel changes (all steps down) , and things removed (the brewery tour, Fushimi Inaari). I'm sure this is done consciousely, to make sure they have your money, before you have the real information.

They'll reply to this review with a lot of small print about how they "reserve the right to..." this and that. But at the end of the day, they just tell you "yes" to whatever you want to hear, to get your money, then treat you like sardines in a process line.

Use G Adventures or Intrepid - way better.

We came back from our 6 days Maldives trip & it was amazing! From airport pickup to sea plane transfers to the villas - everything was well organised. The staff at the resort were superb who became like a family at the end.
