Just not up to its task. MyGP ticket for covid vaccine not working even though the 2 jabs are in vaccine record on the same app.
Not worth using and support is poor
Having lost four stone I keep track of my weight on a daily basis. When I first entered my weight into MyGP it arbitrarily took off a couple of pounds. Clothing allowance? No option to turn it off? So next time I entered a higher number but MyGP took off a completely different number. I noticed that my target weight had been reset so I entered it again, but the app reset it much higher. My blood pressure is the only number it retains correctly. When I reported the weight logging error the ‘support’ team asked me all kinds of irrelevant questions and refused to take my bug report without the associated irrelevant answers. As I can’t even link the app to my GP to help monitor my weight and hypertension I think MyGP is quite useless. So I’m back to Apple Health which at least logs accurate and consistent data.

ONLY WORKS IN ENGLAND
Husband and I tried multiple times over the weekend to join, been in the same house 20 years and at the same doctor same amount of time, both of us kept getting refused as details didn’t match, after searching found out this does not work in Scotland, but app says if you have a GP anywhere in the UK, last time I looked Scotland was part of the UK, Think you need to amend app to say England only

I do not like this at all, it's put me off going to the doctor's, and probably when I really need to go, it has given me anxiety it is offline a lot, really hard to get an appointment usually telephone, and you can end up waiting hours on end. Most people I speak to all of the same opinion, in general on the whole thing I would give no stars

It's like an unfinished sentence, they are picking up more information about the individual than is good for us and it's almost like a second teir management tool, one day the surgery office is there and the next day everyone has been let go.
I'm going to seriously attempt to uninstall and leave iPLATO for ourSOCRATES...!

Complained today about not being able to request my prescriptions.when pressing next it tells me that my surgery needs a reply.
I received an email from mygp telling me the problem was now fixed and to update the app.I reinstalled the app and the same problem..Very frustrating as if I call docs for my prescriptions there is always a long queue

Must be one of the worst apps ever. Why do GPs keep using this app when it has constant problems. It must be at least three or four times a year that the whole thing or at least one part of it does not work, far easier and more reliable to just ring the surgery
I've finally had enough of this utterly…
I've finally had enough of this utterly useless app and removed it. I've lost count of the number of times I've had to reload it. Once again it is giving me the message "Oops" (what a pathetic message) I am not set up to order repeat prescriptions - yet I most definitely am. Now it is trying to redirect me to "Launch GP's Online System" on a different website. Despite it telling me I can't order repeat prescriptions when I checked with the Surgery they said they had received the request the app told me I couldn't do!!!!!!!!!! An atrocious app that should be shut down.
Smartphone only but Simple, quick to use and register
switched to this service having given up on Patient Access site. Very easy to register and use. I can order repeat prescription in about 10 seconds. I was reluctant to use at first because I prefer to use a Desktop PC and for this you have to use a smartphone. Clear and simple to use.
