This experience with My Fitted Bedroom…left me ghosted and wasted my time
This experience with My Fitted Bedroom was a complete waste of time. I was initially quickly put in contact with a designer called Derrick, he promised to get me a design within 7 days, 14 days later and I chased him, he said he was waiting on specs from the factory; 21 days. Later and I chased again, he didn't respond neither did the rep I had first spoke to Nicola when I complained. I wasted time during the sale period waiting for this company. I should have immediately gone elsewhere!

Over the last few years, we’ve had all our made-to-measure furniture designed and fitted by this company. I can comfortably, say they are a trusted business that does things properly. They really listen to the customer, offer helpful suggestions, and never impose their own ideas or apply any pressure, and truly work with you.
Most recently, we decided to have a study fitted rather than a bedroom.
Our consultation with Garry was excellent. He is a jovial and a professional individual who offered thoughtful designs & suggestions while fully taking on board our own ideas to ensure the room felt balanced and suited our home. Garry attended every appointment on time, communicated clearly, and always got back to us promptly.
We’ve agreed a start date and final design at a fair and reasonable price, and the whole process has been seamless. I highly recommend this company. Good Value & Flexible Design
In 2024, wanted fitted bedroom furniture for a new home and went with My Fitted Bedroom as they could offer a corner wardrobe unit.
The design process worked well. Although some elements are fixed, e.g. drawer sizes, there’s still plenty of scope to customise. I was particularly pleased they were able to design a double bed unit with built in drawers, bedside tables and cupboards.
The quote and design documents were clear and the quote seemed reasonable for the work involved.
Installation was efficiently done over two days. However there were a couple of issues that stop this being a 5* experience. Firstly, I hadn’t anticipated how much cutting etc would be done on-site - the company I used for fitted furniture in my living room delivered everything pre-cut. The fitters used the garage to do most of the work but this left a lot of mess both in the room and in the garage, which, being disabled, I couldn’t clean up myself. I was also left with lots of offcuts etc which I had to pay to have taken away. It would have been nice if this was made clear in advance.
Additionally, an internal mirror was delivered which I didn’t expect. I was told I might as well have it installed as it was covered in my order so I asked for it to be installed in one wardrobe. Instead they fixed it in another, which wouldn't be an issue except it meant them using a different, bulkier type of hinge to allow the door to open wider, which interferes with using the pull-down rail in that wardrobe.
Overall, I was happy with the final finish. Again, small issues such as the sealing doesn’t seem to have been done particularly well - it’s very thin and has now cracked along the ceiling. But this would be easily redone. I went with plain white and was also a little concerned about the quality as it looked like the white coating might easily chip.
However, that’s partly why I held off on reviewing. I’ve now had the furniture over 18 months and have had no issues with it so far. It looks just as good as it did just straight after installation. So I am very pleased with the final result and would recommend them.

This is the second bedroom we have…
This is the second bedroom we have asked My fitted bedroom to do. We insisted that we get Mohammed Afsal to design it as he did an excellent job of the first one. He sat down with us for a long time and listened to what we wanted, he made some excellent suggestions to improve our vision and he designed us a beautiful bedroom that maximised our space to a showroom standard bedroom below our budget and 25% below another quotation, the quality of work and standards of materials was not compromised. We constantly called Mohammed with questions and advice and he answered the phone and give solutions to our problems. James Woodward was the survey, a polite and calm gentleman. Talked us through the process and went over each aspect and made sure we got what we wanted. The whole process was trouble free and the end result was amazing. The difference from a ikey bedroom and a My Fitted bedroom is a major difference in quality and space saving and not a big difference in cost.

Brilliant Fitter fast and friendly
I will start with the fitter Sean who on his own managed to fit my wardrobes working non stop was courteous and efficient a real asset to the company. The original designer was also very good, but promised shoe rails which failed to materialise? My main issue was the surveyor who obviously had the original drawings and what I wanted yet did a plan different, and when I asked about a section to put suitcases in which original had, he tried to say it wasnt possible, when I explained it was on original drawings and what I needed he amended it a different way. He sent me the plans 3 times before he got it right, issues also with where he had added cost of moving bed added to wrong section etc. He made me feel lack of efficiency of your company.

5 stars lies purely with the fitter Alan Keen who was courteous, efficient and professional.
Has been some slight confusion prior to the visit upon the state the bedroom needed to be in, and had to repeat the handles we wanted even after telling the surveyor in person, we were only told after the order and enquiry the specifics of what needed to be cleared, but the fitter we had was excellent and did a superb job

From making first contact through to completion totally hassle free.
The sales consultant came and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He talked us through the process from the initial order through to completion totally hassle. After considering the over the weekend we agreed to the proposal. Next stage was the surveyor who yet again went through the process. After the survey it went to production and we were given a fitting date. (It was over Xmas/Newyear which delayed our fitting date slightly.)
Delivery was arranged and on time. The fitter arrived the next working day and got started, It was scheduled for 2 days and completed on the second day.
All the people we had contact with were very friendly and helpful.
The fitter has completed the job to a very high standard.
Very Happy with the job.

The design service was really thorough and we now have good looking units making excellent use of our space. We're very pleased. The fitters were brilliant and the finish was faultless with great attention to detail. We were so impressed with the finished product.
