Poor Customer Service and Misleading Practices
I signed up with this company in June 2024. At first, everything seemed fine — they repaired my first car’s air-conditioning and did MOT and paid out about £580. Unfortunately, that’s where the good experience ended.
When I sold my first car, they refused to transfer the plan to my new vehicle, claiming it had “too many issues.” Later they relented but restricted the plan to MOT and servicing only, excluding repairs. When I sold that car and bought an even better-maintained vehicle, they ignored all my requests to add it to the plan.
What makes this worse is that the company is owned by the same individual who runs HiQ Southall — the person who sold me the plan in the first place. He did not disclose this at sign-up and misrepresented the ease of transferring the plan to future vehicles. He repeatedly told me to keep paying, even though my new cars weren’t being accepted, and discouraged me from contacting my bank.
Only after I went to my bank did I discover how misleading the subscription terms were. Key details — such as the subscription length resetting to two years when you change cars,The 2 year lock in — were never clearly disclosed. The bank raised a dispute and stopped the direct debit in May 2025 because of these concerns.
After cancelling, the same individual from HiQ Southall began contacting me personally, initially claiming I owed £1,000. After I double-checked my account, the real figure was closer to £100. Even though I offered to cover the difference between what I had paid and what they had paid out, they rejected this and instead attempted to intimidate me into paying the full subscription amount for a service they refused to provide.
This behaviour is completely unacceptable. It’s misleading, unprofessional and borders on harassment. I am prepared to address any legal threats, but I am sharing this review to warn others: be extremely cautious before signing up with this company. The terms are unclear, the practices questionable, and the customer treatment appalling.

I’m surprised at the 5-star reviews. Let me share my experience with the £50 per month full maintenance package.
Firstly, I’ve found that issues with the garage they allocated to me are difficult to resolve. It feels like the garage’s perspective is always favored, even in situations where there are discrepancies regarding work performed.
When I requested a change of garage months ago, my request was declined. Now, with my vehicle’s MOT and service approaching, they’ve informed me that they will allocate a new garage closer to the time. This leaves me uncertain about where to go for any other repairs in the meantime.
I’ve communicated to them that if I don’t receive a satisfactory response by the 4th of December, I will be canceling my direct debit payments.
The annual cost of this package is £600, but I’ve found that the maximum repair coverage is significantly lower than this amount. Additionally, I was not clearly informed when signing up that the contract locks me in for two years.
In my opinion, this policy offers poor value for money. For those considering a service plan, I would recommend looking for one with a main dealer or a partner where you can choose a garage you know and trust.

My review was flagged as defamatory by someone, but Trustpilot has allowed it to remain. I appreciate that they reviewed it fairly.
To elaborate further, the diamond policy charges £50 per month, totaling £1,200 over two years. However, the contract limits claims to £250 in the first year and £500 in the second year. This means there’s a potential shortfall of £450 at best. Based on my experience, I don’t find it worth the cost. I reiterate my suggestion to explore service plans with main dealers or trusted partners to ensure better value for your money.
