Family dinner was very good, plenty of choice and food and plates lovely and hot, January 25% off of food makes it even better value than usual.

Staff couldn't do enough for us and the choice of food was amazing. Food cooked perfectly to order. Thank you for a memorable evening.

We booked a table for 16 people. We arrived on time the staff extremly rude and they said they are busy. So after 30mins waiting front of the door outside in the cold, rain with 6 kids we just left. Caos the full restaurant noone know which table is wich. NOT RECOMEND FOR EVERYONE.

Pretty sure contracted food poisoning after eating here last night only thing eaten yesterday and woke in the night being sick

Absolutely discusting dry cold rubber food. Wen complained to the manager. He called me a fat b word. My partner waited outside wile I sorted the carpark chip out wich they refused to let me do. The manager ran outside and started challenging my son and partner. I have it all on camera. Using fowl and derogatory words. Very racist towards us. Avoid at all costs people absolute rip off we wasent in there 20 minutes

I have visited this so many times an I have never found fault in the place or food or staff everything from start to finish was excellent I have been around 30 times including birthdays an never in my experience found nothing to complain about even when I have read dreadful comments which everyone has there opinions but I think it’s fair to say some are just jumping on the bandwagon myself don’t have any issues staff are lovely they are so welcoming an the food was so fresh on every visit an it was clean mr Basrai is one of the best I’ve eaten in an I have personally seen some places a lot worse so don’t be put off by comments or reviews try it for yourselfs in fact I’m going for dinner tonight t barnes

Dreadful. I was looking forward to this as it was recommended. Food terrible. Steak like burnt leather, cold soup, tired dishes left over from lunchtime, grey and un appetising. Bland and flavourless. I didn't eat anything. this is the worst food I have ever encountered in a restaurant. Food areas very sloppy.
Asked to pay up front. I cannot understand how anyone can give this place more than 0 stars unless they have low standards of expectations.
Avoid. Ruined my expectations.Staff unpleasant. SHAME on you

We booked to have a meal out to celebrate the memory of a former work colleague. We had eaten here before and enjoyed the meal. 7 or us came to eat. We saw a recent inspection and it didn’t put us off. We all enjoyed the meal and will return again. Full selection of all foods available, staff friendly and looked clean and tidy.

Booked and accepted booking for a window seat. Tried to put us on a dark corner. Very disrespectful staff.

Awful place. Rude staff, paid on entrance and pointed to a table. No info about where to go or what to do. Half the food wasn't available (no Chargrill, no Italian, and a lump of pork for the "Carvery" that you have to cut yourself). Mentioned to member of staff to see why so much was missing and told they'd get back to us. 30min later still no response so asked for a partial refund (half of food cost as half not available - happy with drinks price and I wasn't going to take the mick).

Member of staff got very defensive and said the website makes it clear that not everything is available at lunch. I asked him to show me where - about 7-8min he still couldn't find it and then his response was "well, it doesn't say that it is therefore you shouldn't assume". Asked to speak to his manager who, conveniently, was in a meeting when he phoned him. The duty manager had also conveniently 'just popped out to a meeting'. By this point 4 other members of staff had surrounded us being very intimidating. Multiple times accused me of lying saying I was in there every week so I should know what to expect - then denied having even said that when I asked him to prove that we were regulars. Then saying that I should learn the names of the staff to be able to tell them who I spoke to and even claimed there were only 3 members of staff (there were 4 stood around us, 2 stood further away, and the guy I was speaking to). Yet I'm the liar.

What food they did have was cold and not filling. Should not come out of an all-you-can-eat buffet and have to call to a takeaway for some food.

I will not be returning and will be requesting a charge reversal for half the bill from my bank.

One of the worst and humiliating experiences I had and I been to the same restaurant more than 15 times in the past three years. Had an argument with staff as they were charging 6pounds for one year and 6months baby and they are very rude tried to threat us, very unprofessional way speaking with our ladies and staff had no manner and very rude and we informed manager as she was much more worse then the staff, she was saying to pay 6pounds for baby or else to leave the restaurant, I have never seen anyone charging for babies and I don’t that the owner is aware of Manager charging for babies less than 2 years, which I have never ever seen around the world.
Manager was worse and even couldn’t communicate properly and definitely not accountable and even not in a position to listen to the customers which is very bad for the organisation, today it’s about 20 people were invited for my wife birthday but got cancelled due to Manager’s reckless behaviour. We never coming back again.

Brilliant choice great choice of food and great idea to do a help yourself and would recommend it to anyone who hasn’t been before

Being locals we've visited here on quite a lot of different occasions both for lunch and dinner - although we mainly go for dinner.

We've always found it had lots of variety of different foods. All hot and fresh -ots to choose from Chinese, Thai, Italian. English, Mexican, sushi , soup, salad, Indian plus noodle bar and freezer of many flavours of ice cream and hot desserts being apple crumble and custard as well as a full desert station of rice, jelly, cakes, cheesecake, gateau, pannacota, chocolate fudge cake as well as a chocolate fountain with marshmallows etc for dipping 😋.

They also offer unlimited refills on soft drinks which is a much better option than buying them individually so if you know you're going to drink more than 1 coke, irn bru, vimto, orange etc then you should buy the unlimited. I think its not much above the individual price, if not the same.

Staff were constantly cleaning and clearing plates and as soon as a group left the table would be emptied,cleaned and reset for the next guest's.

Highly recommended. Reading other people's reviews is like we visited 2 separate venues but as I say we're local and go regularly so can only comment on our own experiences. Just to add nobody knows us there as being so busy they wouldn't recognise us - also we go in for a nice family meal not to get into long conversations with the staff as pleasant as they are 🙂.

All the food that we had was delicious - a huge selection of food was available. When the trays were nearly empty, they were replaced. As soon as we finished with our plates, they were removed from the tables. As soon as a large party of people finished at their table, staff went straight to the table and cleaned it. In a very short space of time, the table was set again in readiness for others. As we were leaving, the staff checked that we had enjoyed our evening, which we did.
