The team at Move It Quickly go about their work with great care, professionalism and meticulous attention to detail. As someone who has moved a number of times over the last few years, I have relied on them for advice and quick expert solutions to problems which one inevitably encounters on down-sizing while trying to house a life-time of treasured family memorabilia. The empathy they demonstrate in protecting your furniture and heirlooms is like a comfort blanket which envelops you from the beginning to the end of the process.

The best removal company we have found in over 40 years of moving house. Do not hesitate to book their service. I completely agree with all the other 5 star reviews - every one is accurate. I am so grateful for their professionalism and the care taken by every member of the team.

This is the third time Barney and his team at Move It Quickly have moved us, and once again they were absolutely outstanding.

From start to finish, they worked incredibly hard and took all the stress out of what is usually a very overwhelming process. Their professionalism, organisation, and attention to detail are second to none.

We had over a thousand glasses, each one carefully wrapped individually, and not a single item was broken which really says everything about the care they take with your belongings.

What really stood out was how organised they were. Every box was placed in the correct room in our new home, making unpacking so much easier. They even transported all our clothes in wardrobe boxes, so we could hang everything straight back up immediately such a thoughtful and efficient touch.

Barney and his team are reliable, friendly, and incredibly hardworking. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and they genuinely go above and beyond to make moving day run smoothly.

I have just moved house in December 2025 on one of the wettest days of the year ! I first contacted Barnie when I was due to move and he gave me a very professional quote . I wasn’t sure as to whether I would be moving straight into my new home or whether I would have to put my stuff into storage . Barnie and his company quoted for both scenarios . He personally delivered boxes so that I could pack for my move , confirmed without delay when I knew the date of my move . Barnie and his staff were extremely professional in loading up my belongings on the day of my move and went above and beyond when I arrived in the new house. So I paint the picture of the new house with cream carpets . It’s pouring of rain , steroids, but all the furniture was put into the rooms I had requested. The super king mattress taken upstairs with no damage and I still had cream carpets and dry furniture ! They protected everything and even put cardboard down in the garage to protect pictures etc .
A highly professional service , great team and I would highly recommend. So great to recommend a local firm where service matters .

Barnie and his team are professional, helpful and polite. They were efficient and very careful packers and made sure I was happy every step of the way. Despite a long delay waiting to get the key to my new house, they were calm and organised as they had to work around the people still moving out! The contrast between Move It Quickly and the other removal company was stark and demonstrated that Barnie and his team are worth every penny.

For a stress-free and reliable moving experience I thoroughly recommend Barnie and his team. I needed some help with moving bulky furniture from a second floor flat with no lift into another second floor flat with no lift and Move it Quickly did an amazing job with no complaints or fuss!
Barnie and Chris were great to chat to and they also kindly offered to move all of my boxes and other bits and pieces with no extra charge! The whole experience was smooth and a pleasure and I have already recommended them to my sister who is planning to move next year.

Would have no hesitation in recommending this company. Apart from undertaking a totally professional house move operation, the 2 things that makes this company stand out above others are firstly their adaptability was amazing as despite being messed about by ourselves due to continually changing completion dates, Barnie worked with us to make it happen and secondly, they were the only company who visited our house to evaluate what needed moving, other larger companies wanted to use Teams calls and a walk through online which was bound to lead to items not being allowed for and then no doubt additional costs.

I used this removal service today and I find it hugely professional, organised and reliable. I appreciate the effort of home visit for quotation, the honesty and punctuality. After living in our house for 18yrs it was time for us to move on. Barney came over to give us a quote and was very professional, he even gave us pointers what to look out for with other removal companies if we decided not to go with him. We had him and his team do a full house pack and move. The best thing we’ve done! The Team were amazing and worked very hard for all 3 days, not one item broken because it was packed really well. We have used Move It Quickly for Two moves in the past year (6 bed house to rental move with load of storage, then move from rental and out of store to new house), it was a BIG move, not one thing broken on two moves.
