Today I had to file in NCAT for some…

Today I had to file in NCAT for some awful chicken coops (ABSCO) they supplied me. Parts missing and then an allegation that they weren't put together properly? They made it that difficult to get in touch and then after collecting the coops refused a refund.

Same Day Delivery?

I ordered an item and paid for same day delivery. It's been four days and the item has not shipped. Considering it is only coming from a few suburbs over this is ridiculous. Shop elsewhere.

Rotten Seed Potatoes from Mitre 10 Jindabyne

I bought a couple of packets of seed potatoes from Mitre 10 in Jindabyne. A couple of weeks later, I went to plant them and found that one of the packets had some rotten potatoes in it. I live nearly 50 kms from Mitre 10 and don’t regularly shop there so it was another week before I got back there. The shop was shut at 5 when I expected it to be 5.30 so I had to wait another week to return them. When I returned them, the lady at the counter asked when I had bought them and when she looked it up on my Mitre 10 card, it showed a month. She said she couldn’t give a refund because of the time passed. Seed potatoes should last for months when stored in the shade and after all only one packet had rotted, so clearly it hadn’t been too long. It was just that they were infected with some sort of potato thing. Glad I didn’t plant them. It could have infected my soil. I did want to return both packets because I didn’t want to chance putting some sort of blight into my potato bed. It was perfectly reasonable to return them and they should have given a refund. Why would any shop risk losing a customer over such a small return? I certainly will not shop there again, as they seemed to doubt that I had seen the rot after only two weeks. A clear case of adding insult to injury.

So frustrating that you have slack…

So frustrating that you have slack click and collect staffs.

I ordered on July 27 and nearly a month now, no email to collect till today.

I had followed up in store and called twice re this. On August 1st after 4PM, I went in store, two young employees on the counter did not even move to check if the items were available. You do not need slack staffs like these two!

My husband also ordered few days before me, and he checked that his items are available before he went to them on that same day, same thing, they did not want to get them for him at all! Except for a young lady I am unsure her name was. Now, she is good and hardworking.

I am not Defo buying with you anymore and will leave feedback everywhere re this!

Mt Gambier Mitre 10 staff are rude

Mt Gambier Mitre 10 staff are rude, very unhelpful, can’t or seem unable to provide customer service and support. Prefer to socialise and check their phones. I was waved to a section to try and find my item, looked back to staff to be waved further on to find the item. Was constantly put on to other staff when phoning and enquiring about ‘one’ item. Staff didn’t communicate information about item when forwarding call to other staff and had to repeat each time details regarding item. Was on hold ‘ a lot ‘ of the call time. Don’t bother going to store, it will interrupt staff socialising. Theses experiences occurred over three visits.

Mighty helpful? Guess again

Purchased two heated blankets during the Easter public holiday period. Fuses brokes on both just a few hrs later. The store was not open the following day to process a refund. Left the town to return home the following day (another public holiday *Easter). Was refused a refund at Mitre 10 Hillary's despite me being unable to return the faulty products to Mitre 10 Bridgetown due to being on a holiday and returning home.

Visited Mitre10 Nambour today, Monday 17th February, 2025 & received wonderful helpful service and assistance from a friendly staff member, Jack.
My husband & myself were very impressed with Jack, staff member for his willingness to help us with our purchase.

What happened to reliability

What happened to reliability? Despite my ordering and being told weed killer was waiting for us to collect, the next day, when we went to collect the weed killer, it was out of stock. So we had to drive 80 km to Mount Gambier. Trust? This reinforces a common opinion Mitre10 cannot be relied on.

I purchased a camp shower online and…

I purchased a camp shower online and selected in store pick up but instead off being able to collect it the next day I have to wait at least 9 days before my purchase will arrive, I find this very un professional as you dont find out that your purchase is not in store until after you complete and pay for it.

Mitre 10 Instore Prices

Mitre 10 Instore PricesMitre 10 is terrible and worse when it comes to their in-store prices. When I go in store to get to get Waxworks Citronella Lamp and Torch Oil 1L there price was $12.65 in store but online it's $8.65 which surprised me. They made an error with there pricing for the Sprayer Trigger Hills 1L where it was advertised at $4.50 on the shelf but when I got to the check out it was $5.15 which also surprised me. NEVER EVER SHOP AT MITRE 10 in Brighton and other stores because they're discriminating us by paying us for the expensive option not the cheaper option. Avoid Mitre 10 go to bunnings instead.
