They booked me for a 16-hour shift and then cancelled it just 80 minutes before I was due to start. I had already organised my entire schedule around this, turned down other work, and even paid for parking in preparation.
When I raised a request for compensation—or at the very least reimbursement for my parking—they refused and instead tried to blame me, claiming I hadn’t answered my phone. This is simply not true. I have no missed calls, and the cancellation message I received clearly stated it was due to them overstaffing.
Unprofessional and dishonest. I would strongly advise others to avoid.

I had a very disappointing experience with this agency. I was booked for shifts for three days, and they cancelled on me at the last minute without any prior notice. I had already gotten to the place of assignment, plan my time, only to be told the shifts were no longer available.
I kept on calling their staffs. None of them was picking my calls.
What made it worse was the lack of professionalism and accountability. No one reached out to inform me in advance, and when I contacted them, they acted like this was a normal occurrence. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused.
I also had a very unpleasant interaction with a staff member named Ben, who was quite rude and dismissive. When I raised a valid concern about compensation for my wasted time, effort, and transport, he tried to turn it around and accuse me of being rude instead of addressing the issue properly.
Overall, very unprofessional service. I would not recommend this agency to anyone looking for reliable and respectful work opportunities.

Mint refused to pay it even though they told us to park there!! Utterly disgraceful staff. They cancel work on people last minute with no security or compensation. The wages aren't even that good especially for the travel distances. There are way better agencies like appetite4work and platinum

Horrible agency do not recommend
My experience with Mint People has been nothing but a joke. They gave me no training whatsoever, threw me straight into kiosk work, and expected me to magically know what I was doing. I told them I was inexperienced, yet the team leaders were rude, unprofessional, and refused to help, acting like they were above everyone else just watching over you without helping.
On top of that, they constantly cancel shifts, which is incredibly frustrating when you’re trying to plan your week. And the final straw? They cancelled one of my shifts on the same day, I was meant to work so I naturally thought it was the shift for that day. A reasonable mistake. Instead of explaining anything, they removed all my future shifts and sent me an abrupt, disrespectful message saying I wasn’t allowed to work with them anymore.
The whole place is disorganised, rude and completely unprofessional. Honestly, they’re pathetic. I wouldn’t recommend working for Mint People to anyone.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour towards me and my friends, cancelled 3 of my shifts because I cancelled one due to not having correct uniform when they rang and informed me about that and said that’s okay as it was cancelled the same day it was booked. Now just constantly ignoring on WhatsApp. I’m appalled by this as this is people’s incomes and and mental health that’s being affected and it’s so unprofessional!! Don’t even do it to yourselfs.

I had an interview scheduled with this agency and showed up on time, only to be left waiting in the virtual meeting room for over 20 minutes. No one ever arrived. There was no communication, no apology, and no explanation.
This is not just disappointing—it's unprofessional. If an agency can’t manage the basic courtesy of showing up for a scheduled interview, how can they be trusted to support staff in the field?
I’ve worked with Mint People previously and had hoped to return, expecting a smooth and respectful process. Unfortunately, this experience showed a complete lack of organisation and respect for my time.
Thankfully, I’m already supported by reliable agencies like HAP and Arc, who treat their workers with far more professionalism.
I do not recommend wasting your time here.

They will cancel shifts 40 minutes before your shift is due to start without an actual explanation. Then reject your calls throughout the day. They are very unprofessional. If you need to unbook shifts and get your information deleted from Ubeya just call the main 03 number as the agents will just keep ignoring your call and emails. Just stick with the more common agencies.

My experience with mint was dreadful.i was supposed to work festival event far away from home and when I got there the hour's I work was very short because the employer doesn't want longer hours the job was quite according to trader. but that's not what got the message from the agency it's gonna be full time and working for several day's.so i bought a tent and basic things for next couple of days.i end up over spending than the wage I get paid.becuse the hour's I work couldn't cover my expenses, food at the festival was expensive, the shift was short hours and the communication was absolutely unbelievably shit.so i quit working for them and the bizarre thing is still get a message's and email 's from them when I am not interested frankly I find it annoying and unprofessional.my advice is think about it before u sign up other wise you will end up over spending most of us want to bring income pay our bills. that job it self is major bill.that is burtal honest from me but its my worst experience job.

Booked a return train ticket only for them cancel the shift an hour to start time.
