Subject: Complaint about Racial Profiling by Store Employees
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding a distressing incident that occurred at your store in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on 24th June 2023. It is with a heavy heart that I bring to your attention an instance of racial profiling that I personally experienced, as well as witnessed being inflicted upon other customers of diverse backgrounds.
I value and appreciate the services your store provides, as it has been a convenient and trusted establishment for my shopping needs. However, the incident I am about to describe has left me with a profound sense of discomfort and undermined the trust I had in your store and its employees.
On 24th June 2023, I visited your store with the intention of purchasing beach sleepers. As I entered the store, your employee asked me rudely to hand over the grocery bag that I was carrying as per many stores policies, I complied and handed the bag and proceeded to enter. I couldn't help but notice that many white customers entered the store with many bags similar to mine and were not asked to hand them over and the way in which certain employees closely monitored and scrutinized customers who appeared to be from minority backgrounds. It was evident that their behavior was motivated by racial bias, as they subjected these customers to unwarranted suspicion and treated them differently from other patrons.
Regrettably, I, too, became a victim of this unjust treatment. While browsing through the store, I noticed an employee shadowing me at an uncomfortably close distance, making me feel singled out and targeted solely based on my race. This experience was not only distressing but also degrading, as it violated my rights as a customer and as an individual deserving of equal respect and dignity.
Racial profiling is a grave violation of human rights and goes against the principles of fairness, equality, and inclusivity that should be upheld in any establishment. As a customer, I believe that it is our collective responsibility to foster an environment free from discrimination, where everyone is treated with dignity and fairness, regardless of their race, ethnicity, or any other characteristic.
I urge you to address this issue promptly and take immediate action to rectify the situation. When I asked the manager of the store why they were profiling black customers she ask me to live. Here are some steps I believe should be taken to address the problem and prevent its recurrence:
1. Conduct thorough training sessions: Organize comprehensive training programs for all employees to raise awareness about the importance of diversity, cultural sensitivity, and the detrimental effects of racial profiling. Emphasize the values of respect, inclusivity, and equal treatment for all customers.
2. Implement clear policies: Establish and enforce explicit policies within your store that explicitly condemn any form of racial profiling or discrimination. Clearly communicate these policies to all employees, making it evident that such behavior will not be tolerated.
3. Encourage reporting and accountability: Create a safe and confidential system for customers and employees to report incidents of racial profiling. Implement appropriate mechanisms to investigate and address complaints promptly and fairly. Hold employees accountable for their actions and impose appropriate disciplinary measures when warranted.
4. Promote diversity and inclusivity: Actively foster an environment that celebrates diversity and inclusivity by showcasing diverse staff members, incorporating diverse perspectives in decision-making processes, and supporting community initiatives that promote equality.
I sincerely hope that you take my concerns seriously and take swift action to rectify the situation. I believe that by addressing this issue head-on, you can demonstrate your commitment to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all customers.
I would appreciate a prompt response from you regarding the actions you intend to take to address this matter. Please understand that I am cutting my vacation short in Punta Cana due to the distress this incident caused me. Please ensure that discrimination and racial profiling are eradicated from your store.

The assortment in the one and only store in germany is always the same, It never changes.
While other miniso stores around the world are full of cute Sanrio products, this store is still stuck with we bare bears, marvel and even old Halloween things!
You would ensure a lot more attention and sales if you would finally bring all the Sanrio products to the store in Germany.

Why would you discontinue one of the best things you were selling! The inkjet series of scented candles were SUPERIOR! I miss 'Apple sake' so SO much. Never loved a candle fragrance more. Extremely sad and disappointed. Bring it back if you can, please.

No customer service on the weekends, and their products don't even work properly.

The employee was not friendly at all. She did not make an effort in trying to obtain my information for my rewards program. She was not friendly at all and did not even smile at me while I encountered her in the aisles while shopping.

I purchased a Plush soft toy online from Miniso Melbourne, Australia. The item sent to me was covered in a grease like substance that will not wipe off. I contacted their customer service department and was offered a vague apology and then was advised to "put it in the wash or wipe it with a damp cloth". No offer of a refund or to have another item sent to me as a replacement. They sold me a dirty, used looking soft toy and then expected me to simply wash it! I told them this was not good enough at all and now they will not return my calls or respond to my emails. Terrible customer service and I will never buy from this business again. Avoid at all costs.

I bought a defective headphone in Miniso Square One in Canada, as i was trying to exchange it with other similar item or a refund, the manager told me that they have this no return and no exchange policy unless it is a manufacturing defect. I told him that is a defective one and a customer has right to return it within seven days from the date of purchase. They finally allow the exchange only after i unintentionally raised my voice. Do not purchase any electronic products on this store because they will give you hard time returning it. The amount maybe too small but it is the exercise of that right that matters.

There's a reason why they have such a huge turn over rate; they take advantage of their employees, and get shocked when everyone quits. They over work their staff, send demand more with no pay increase.

Hey, guys, be careful! One thing I don't understand or feel confused is, this is a Chinese brand (origin country is China). However, the brand logo shows English and Japanese. Seriously? I feel it potentially delivers misguided information to customers to a large extent. It means I bought some products that I thoughts they are from a Japanese brand, but they are not. It was my first experience of shopping at MINISO City Centre Mall Rohini. I purchased goods and paid rs 1410/ as demanded by the person on cash counter through Gpay. I couldn't cross check details of the bill at that time as I was in hurry. But later when I cross checked, I was shocked to see that net bill amount was 1260/ after discount of rs150/. I tried contacting them on both the numbers printed on the bill but of no use. I wrote an email to MINISO and still waiting for their reply.
