Hab meine 10 Jahre alten Meindl Island Wanderschuhe zur Neubesohlung eingeschickt. Retoure in perfektem, fast neuwertigem Zustand erhalten. Bin Super zufrieden mit Qualität und Preis.Auch die nächsten Schuhe sind wieder Meindl. Kann ich meinen Freunden getrost empfehlen.

Meindl Bhutan Ladies, I just use these for every walking about not hikes or anything. The sole is crumbling away long before they have worn out. the tread looks almost new still but the sides of the sole and sides of the heels look like they have disintegrated. I have had them over a year so out of the guarantee. I won't be buying again. thought I was buying quality. Obviously not.

Ich habe meine alten Meindl Wanderschuhe 20 Jahre getragen, Bergwanderungen, Waldspaziergänge, alles mögliche und war rundherum zufrieden. Als sie kaputt gegangen waren, verständlich nach so langer Zeit, kaufte ich mir vor zwei Jahren neue Meindl Wanderschuhe.
Diese sind hart, schwer und steif. Und auch nach zwei Jahren nicht gut zu meinen Füßen. Würde ich nie mehr kaufen.
Zudem habe ich mir im vorigen Jahr Halbschuhe von Meindl für 180€ gekauft. Diese Schuhe sehen nur gut aus. Sie sind nach einem Jahr immer noch hart, wie ein Klotz an den Füßen. Ich bekomme nach ca 2 Stunden Knieschmerzen, obwohl ich mit anderen Schuhen stundenlang ohne Beschwerden laufe. Die Schuhe sind schwer und steif, so dass man gezwungen ist, unnatürliche Bewegungen zu machen, um damit laufen zu können. Fazit für mich: nie wieder diese Marke kaufen.

Stiefel für € 250 gekauft, nach 1. Mal tragen
( Spaziergang auf ebenem Gelände) Blasen an beiden Füßen, ein blau angelaufener, sich ablösender Zehennagel und ein stark angeschwollener Knöchel- Fazit: der Urlaub ist
gelaufen- nie wieder Meindl!

kaputte füße nach einer wanderung mit einem meindl-wanderschuh - traurig, dass man sogar bei einem deutschen traditionsunternehmen dbzgl. erst bewertungen lesen muss, und nicht der qualität vertrauen kann, die hier teuer bezahlt wird!

Das Ende einer mehr als 25jährigen Freundschaft...
Meindl wird leider immer schlechter. Diesmals scheuern die Schnürsenkel schon nach 10 bis 12 Mal zuschnüren an der Öse blank. Kauf ist gerade mal 4 Monate her (05.05.2025), drei Mal länger gewandet und schon darf ich mir neue Senkel bestellen.

I bought a pair of Meindl Bhutan Lady MFS boots in May 2025. They cost over £250, but I thought the warranty would give me peace of mind. The right boot now leaks. I took it back to the retailer who forwarded them onto the manufacturer. But Meindl repair dept claim that the right boot is leaking because there is a hole in the goretex lining caused by rubbing of my big toe!! This is incorrect! I took photos of the boots before dropping them off. The wet patch on the insole is not in the big toe area - but in the ball of the foot area which is 4" away & if you look at the exterior of the boot you can clearly see the leather has cracked & the rubber can be lifted with my fingernail. I am NOT HAPPY that after just 4 months these boots are no longer wearable. I wrote to the manufacturer, who just parroted that my big toe caused the leak which invalidates the warranty - how convenient!!! I wrote to the Head Office in Germany - had no reply.
£250 wasted in just 4 months.

Meindl Schuh Island Ms löste sich der geklebte steinschutz nach halben Jahr. Laut Händler fällt dies nicht in gewährleistungsfall. Schuhe für 350€ nach gefühlten 50km Schrot. Nie wieder Meindl. Schuhe von früher waren top. Neue sind einfach für die Tonne gedacht.

Da ich sehr breite Füße habe, wurden mir die breiten Wanderschuhe von Meindl empfohlen. Sie sind sehr leicht und gemütlich, allerdings hat mich beim Kauf schon gestört, dass sie nicht neu besohlt werden können. Es stellt sich nun nach 2 Jahren heraus, dass das wohl leider auch nie nötig sein wird, da die Schuhe außen bereits an drei Stellen gebrochen sind und die Füße bei entsprechendem Wetter nass. Die Sohle sieht noch absolut wie neu aus. Die Schuhe habe ich meistens zum Gassi gehen an und selten zum Wandern. Bin sehr enttäuscht, für das Geld hätte ich von der Konkurrenz definitiv hochwertigere Produkte erhalten.

Chaussures Sion GTX très mal étudiée car la terre et petit cailloux rentre au-dessus derrière le talon, ce qui est très gênant vue le prix ça devrait pas l'être.
je ne peux pas en dire plus, car ça fait deux semaines que je les ai achetées. Sinon elles sont confortables.

Meindl Bhutan MFS GTX Walking Boots bought 2/05/2024. Used everyday since purchased, cleaned and left where they would dry etc. The soul is falling apart already, crumbling and water is getting in. The actual tread on the soul is hardly worn down but the soft part is falling apart, and likely the shoes will completely fail long before what I would consider them to be worn out. These boots costs £210, so I expect a few years out of them, not less than 18 months, very disappointing, the quality of Meindl has gone sadly, avoid.

Moin, nach 8 Monaten sind meine Schuhe komplett kaputt…
Es lösen sich die Sohlen und die Nähte reißen ein…. Von Meindl keine Einsicht…

Grausam, Blasen an beiden Füßen!
Habe im Juli den Tekkingstiefel Salo Mid GTX gekauft. Am Wochenende bin ich den Löwenmarsch (100km in 24h)mitgelaufen. Nie wieder in diesen Schuhen! In der Einlegesohle ist ein Dämpfer verbaut wodurch sich der Fuß bei jedem Schritt im Schuh rauf und runter beweg und dadurch scheuert.
Ich ärgere mich, dass ich diese Fehlkonstruktion nicht schon beim Kauf bemerkt habe. Dazu kommt, das sich der Schuh nicht vernünftig schnüren lässt. Die Schnürung am Schaft zieht beim Gehen den Vorderschuh zusammen, was Schmerzen verursacht.
Fazit: Blasen an den Füßen und ein teurer Schuh für die Tonne!

Thuis aangekomen in nederland blijkt dat de zool.niet goed is en zij mij een oud model uit 2023 hebben verkocht .
Kontakt opgenomen zowel de winkel als meindl .kan alleen met de schoen
terugkomen bij de winkel.ondanks de bon moest ik extra meer dan 200 km terugrijden dat wilde ze .dat heb ik dus niet gedaan .dus kan je als nederlander beter GEEN schoenen van meindl in duitsland kopen zeer slechte service als er iets met je schoen is je hebt tenslotte 2 jaar garantie eigenlijk stoepgarantie

Sadly my complaint revolves around a pair of Meindl Rapide GTX shoes. The stitching around the front of the shoe is clearly coming undone after very modest usage. I bought the shoes 19 months ago but never used them until my light-weight boots wore out. After a couple of months of light usage their fate is set. Now with the warranty expired and the on-line retailer dragging their feet, all I can do is look at my Meindl Borneo boots and wonder where did it all go so wrong?

I bought a pair if meindl caribe gtx trek shoes. They only lasted 8 months before the uppers failed. I returned them via the store and they weee sent to meindl for assessment. Initially they said they would repair them. They then said they would be returning them to me saying that on further assessment they had failed because of wear and tear! I know that but they should last at least one year. This was the second time this happened. The first time they were replaced. The shoes are obviously not fit for purpose . They are marketed as top class and have a £163 price tag. I contacted meindl directly and their staff were rude saying the reason the upper had failed was because I’d tightened the laces too much. When I said that they should give guidance on lacing if this can be a cause of failure the person I spoke to said “ they could give guidance on not walking through fire in them”, that’s a wonderful example of sarcastic customer service. I will never buy meindl again. Avoid, avoid, avoid. All I do is walk in them each day.

My most recent Meindl purchase was a pair of mens Ontario GTX shoes. After only 250 miles a split occurred in the third from front lateral groove in the sole of the left shoe. As the shoes were still under warranty I approached Cotswold Outdoor who retained my shoes for inspection. They denied any responsibility and at my bidding asked for a second opinion from Meindl UK. They came back with the same answer excessive wear. Meindl in Germany were approached and returned the same response. The question I had continually been asking was why the split had occurred in the lateral groove where there was no wear and why was the sole only 1mm thick in this location. Cotswold Outdoor, Meindl UK and Meindl Germany have all avoided responding to these questions.
Meindl have been my walking boot and shoe of choice, owing durability and comfort for a good number of years. My first pair of Ontario GTX shoes have now completed 600 miles in similar walking conditions without any signs of the issues experienced with the second pair.

Brought Meindle Rapide GTX wide fitting walking shoes for C2C walk in July. Wore whilst training (200miles) then whilst on walk a seam started to undo by toes.
Contacted Meindl who said they would exchange if that was the case.
Got them wet with sea water at end of walk and didnt think to rinse off before i returned them.
Meindl refused to honour warrenty as they said i had followed their cleaning regime.

De wandelschoenen waren al binnen een jaar versleten. Volgens Meindl door intensief gebruik. Afgelopen jaar hebben wij echter niet meer gewandeld dan anders. Verder moet een zogenaamd top merk hier ook tegen kunnen.
Via mail een klacht ingediend. Geen reactie ontvangen.

Ich reihe mich in die grosse Masse der Vorredner ein: Die 20 Jahre alten Meindl-Schuhe waren und sind top, die neuen ein Flop.
In meinem Fall lösten sich nach ca 50 Wanderkilometern beide Sohlen von den Schuhen. Meindl interessiert das wenig, sie halten das bei hochwertigen, modernen Schuhen für normal. Gleiches passierte bei meiner Frau, immerhin haben ihre Schuhe ca 200 km geschafft.
Mein Rat an alle Meindl-Wanderer: Immer ein paar Flip Flops dabei haben, damit man sicher den Berg wieder runter kommt.
