Pessima esperienza, assistenza e servizio clienti non ha saputo affrontare il problema, degli errori possono capitare nell'utilizzo dell'app e sinceramente da loro mi aspettavo assistenza e risoluzione veloce del problema con rimborso e invece ho solo perso tempo e denaro. Chiuderò account. Delusa.

Can I give 0 stars? This app is the most frustrating experience. It makes me want to order Wendy’s. We are on the go a lot bc of kids’ sports and activities, so we eat out a lot. At this point, I avoid McDonald’s because of the app. I’ve taken their survey and it reads like they want to blame the location. It’s not the branches, it’s the dumbasses at corporate.

Ordered food took my money never recieved the food for my children and have the worst customer service offered me a free medium meal instead of a full refund

If I could leave minus stars I would! Been using the McDonalds app for a few months as I have teenagers. Twice food delivery time kept changing until eventually the restaurant shut and I had to get a refund as no food arrived, plus two very hungry and disappointed teenagers. Tonight one burger wasn’t included with the meal. The meal was £11.29, so when I contacted customer services they offered a refund of £3.39 for the burger. Like coke and fries should cost £7.90 plus delivery. I didn’t want a paltry £3.39 refund (in 15 days mind you!) I wanted a burger for my daughter. Apparently I would need to order it again… and pay the delivery charge. What has happened to customer service? We all know they chuck away tonnes of food daily, send a kid a new burger when you’ve messed up. Otherwise there will be lots of long negative rants online. Which I appear to be joining a community of. Welcome newcomers to the Never Using McDonalds App again support group!

Awful to use and where is the alleged £2.99 happy meal ? Is the same £5 price. Bs

Clearly McDonalds have the app set so that if you are near or in a store it just doesn't work. This hypothesis comes from experience. It's either that or a global company doesn't understand IT - which I find unlikely. Anyway, they have now lost my custom and that of my family of 5.

They have taken away the search button to find exactly what you want!!? Now you HAVE to go through the WHOLE menu!! Very underhanded of mcdonalds to get you to scroll the whole menu to tempt you to order MORE! Sick of big companies like this trying to manipulate people!! Had enough of tactics like this so they can make more money so bye bye mcdonalds 👋

Absolutely rubbish!! Do not use!! We were travelling on the motorway and used the app for the nearest one when arrived at the nearest one it was the wrong one it had taken my money and we had to order and pay again the staff said it would be refunded and it hasn’t and customer service say it went through so no refund, they had all evidence that we obviously can’t be in two places at the same time but don’t want to know disgusting. Will not use again

Delivery took over an hour. Food was stone cold and went in the bin. McDonalds say they can't refund as delivered by Uber Eats, Uber eats say they can't refund and McDonalds need to do it. The outcome is I paid £25 for food to throw in the bin and no one is accountable apparently. I advise everyone to never use this app!

I ordered through the McDonald’s app, the order arrived but completely different from what I wanted. After lengthy chats with both Uber eats and McDonald’s plus sending
e-mails, I was given partial refund. When I questioned it, I was told to contact Uber eats. Uber eats then said McDonald’s should issue the refund. No one wants to take responsibility. If you live around Grays Essex, beware of the Thurrock Retail Park branch because the staffs there are incompetent. You're better off eating in if you're desperate for their shrinking burgers.

I ordered thru mcdo app and the payment is error, and they deduct my bank account twice ,when I call the customer service they said they fixed it until now I didn't receive my refunds

I recently had an experience where I attempted to place a Mobil order. I got an Oops message that it couldn’t be processed at this time. I switched to another store and got the same message. I closed the app, went back in and tried again but still would not processed. When I created the order I used points to order my sandwich. When I couldn’t process the order I took everything out of the cart and forgot about it. I later realized the points were taken out even though I never got the sandwich. I reached out to customer service on two separate occasions and got the same unhelpful response that was identical so not personalized. All I wanted was for the points to be back in my account. When they asked for additional info I responded but then Would get an email that my case was closed. I am irritated that the points were missing but more angry about the poor customer service. I have deleted my app and will no longer be going to McDonald’s.

Sent 4 emails and a screenshot regarding not being able to put in points and every time the blew me off. NOT one of their so called customer service people helped me. So now they don't want to answer me, their customer service needs more training or new people. Not worth the time and trouble. Guess I had to give 1 star to write a review.

Absolutely terrible app to use. Constantly freezes, some options like "Add to bag" does not work. Half the time I order through the app for delivery my order can often take hours because of no driver's?? Why let me order delivery in the first place.. just one big mess of an app. You'd think with such a big brand they would have a half decent app. Burger king can produce better 🤣

ON MONDAY 6TH JULY 2026 I RECEIVED AN EMAIL OFFERING A FREE BIG MAC WHEN YOU SPEND £5.00 . GUESS WHAT NOT EVEN AVAILABLE IN MY APP SO WASTED TRIP ! NO WONDER BRANCH WAS EMPTY ! HAVE NOW DELETED APP AND WILL NOT BOTHER VISITING MCDONALDS IN FUTURE !

Orders at shawcross, charged for food, never arrived ,no way of contacting McDonald’s, mobile number for store goes straight to mobile, terrible service, definitely avoid at all costs!

I ordered 3 meals 1 of the quarter pounder meals i said no cheese 3 times. Instead of leaving the cheese off they left everything else off and left the cheese on. Im allergic to dairy so my tea ruined. I called them direct 4 times and all 4 times I got cut off every time after waiting. I tried to complain on the app but all I got was a machine telling me I was few hundred miles away even though gave them the lye location B63 2RG kept saying i was too far away and it started all over again. Very frustrating. No wonder i gave up going as about a year ago it happened then only went today to treat granddaughters.

What's the difference between a correct McDonald's delivery and the loch Ness monster? The answer is that some people have actually seen the loch Ness monster. Hands up if you've actually ever had a correct McDonald's delivery. Items usually missing. Contact the store and they tell you to contact the delivery service. Go on to the app and try and upload your receipt because it helps them and they don't allow you to do that and then they try to find your location and that doesn't work either. There should be a button on the app for instant access to a customer service person who can refund you. The whole system is bloody useless

The app seems to work mediocrely at my house however when I get near the store it completely loses all functionality. Won't load properly, won't let me sign in, won't function in a useful manner. It's weaponized incompetence because this isn't happening with my Taco Bell, Subway, or Carl's Jr apps, just McDonalds. I've left McDonalds three times in the last 10 days to go spend my money at In n Out because of the app failure. McDonalds clearly hates money.

App is simple and engaging to use with relative ease however you gota spend so much to get little points back from a multi billion pound company that capitalises on cheap takeaway produce. I gota keep using it as a regular, though I will reduce going more, to Macdonald's but management can give better points rewards surely.
