AVOID - Misleading product delivery times

Whenever you see a company who has such poor reviews on TrustPilot and 5000 4-5 star reviews on their own website you know they are scammers.

After 3 weeks I've still not received my items.

They misleadingly avoid putting delivery estimates on their product pages or checkout page, and instead put "Royal mail 3.95 shipping" on checkout, which this most certainly is not.

The fine print buried in a page linked from the footer states the items come from the USA.

My partner ordered a custom painting of my dog as Christmas gift for me. After more than 50 hours of painting it the picture was finished. However, midway through it became clear that the colours of my dog did not match the colours that they chose.
My dog is multiple shades of grey.
She is not multiple shades of PINK!
I emailed the company with the order number and explained but no one responded, so I noticed that they were responding to people who posted on their Facebook page, so I posted it up on their Facebook page in hope that someone would offer some help and asistance.
After about an hour my post was remove.
I posted it again asking them not to remove it but to offer some help, again my post was removed but this time with the added bonus of them blocking me from being able to post on their page again.
In business you aren't always going to get the customer satisfaction you want, however the Customer Service you provide says a lot about the company you are and the people who run it.
Needless to say we won't recommend them and we won't order from them again.

1. They will take two weeks to post
2. That's if they even post it
3. If you leave a bad review on The system expect a very rude email from "support"

PLEASE AVOID - save your time and money and purchase elsewhere

Made two orders for Christmas gifts weeks ago and still not received. Emails unanswered and telephone contact not available.

Spent a lot of money for key Christmas gifts and now have to disappoint recipients and its now Christmas Eve.

Very poor customer service! Do not answer emails in the time they state on their website and when they do, are very unhelpful and unwilling to put things right.
I paid for a custom pbn but am extremely disappointed. I would not purchase from this company.

I ordered on 1st December. They hold themselves out as being a British company, they’re not and the orders are shipped from America. 3 weeks later and I still don’t have my order. My email was ignored so I left a negative review. This was swiftly deleted by them but did elicit a response which said my review was unfair. I replied but have been ignored again. This was meant to be a Christmas present and was ordered in good time. The tracking for the order hasn’t been updated since 17th December - the date of my complaint. Clearly it won’t arrive for Christmas now. Avoid at all costs

Very Poor.

I would not buy again. I ordered over 7 weeks ago and the item still has not turned up. My wifes' birthday has been and gone three weeks ago.
Customer services say in the small print on the website delivery is between 6 and 8 weeks - a fact they don't tell you when you order.

I placed an order several weeks ago and received the tube containing about 10 days ago. Overall I would say getting orders out was good. However, my negative review stems from the fact that when I opened the tube, it only contained the canvases, there was no paint kits at all. When I reached out via email this week, I was told that the paint kits were in the center of the tube. When I informed the representative that there indeed were no paints at all in the package, and I sent them photos of what I had gotten. A reply message asked if the package had been damaged, which after closer inspection it was discovers that one end had come off and UPS placed a piece of paper over the end and taped it on with packing tape (and I sent photos). I have not received any response to either my email requests asking if I need to purchase new paint kits not to my messages I have left on their customer support phone line. So, right now I have over $100 of useless Christmas presents that I cannot give because there are no paints for the individuals to use them. Had the customer service representative had even remotely suggested some sort of rectification such as offering to replace the paint kits that were missing, I would not be so angry. But, I feel as though I have been ripped off not just monetarily, but also in no longer having gifts for the people who were to get them for Christmas. All I wanted was to find out how to fix the missing paints, but being disregarded completely is poor business practice.

Bought a custom painting off of an instagram ad and with all the scams this year, I was pretty nervous. They advertised 6-8 weeks time since these pieces are incredibly custom, but after not hearing an update for the first 4 weeks I got nervous. This is where I think they could improve: give status updates along the way to reassure their customers through the long wait. I emailed them though and they were prompt in getting back to me, reminded me of the well advertised long wait time, but also told me the name of the person creating my order as well as when it might ship out. The lady I was talking to was very gracious and nice and she was right, my order shipped out only a week or two later and from their I could track it! I haven't actually started painting it yet because it is a gift for my partner, but from looking it over, it's incredibly detailed, the paint colors are beautiful, and honestly the canvas is bigger than I thought it would be! Everything was surprisingly good quality and now that I have it, I feel like it's actually a really affordable price for a custom painting kit on real canvas. Came with the paint brushes too! Very excited to paint this, I hope it looks good haha, am kinda nervous.
I never leave reviews, but I checked this website before I purchased with them and hopefully my experience can give others a bit of confidence in this company!

I was a bit unfair on my first review.
The kit arrived in just over 2 weeks which is what was stated.
I still think though that the website should not give Poole in Dorset as the registered address

Website and designs are lovely. However, my tracking link never worked, and I sent multiple emails inquiring, which had very slow responses. If it was more obvious the site was based in America I would not have ordered. After 3 weeks of ordering, and conflicting email information, I was told my order was lost. I was at least refunded fully, but disappointed to not receive my order.

I have ‘The Rhode Island Rooster ‘ kit which contains two pots of both numbers 1 and 13. These pots had been labelled incorrectly. One of the number 1 pots had black and the other dark grey and the same for pots number 13. This resulted in a poor picture and was not realised until a fair way through the painting. I started on the grey pot number 1 and was not to know that this was incorrect. I contacted Masterpiece by Numbers who were totally disinterested. Their customer service is abysmal. If I could have given no stars I would have.

Some of the other reviews mention slow shipping and poor customer service. My pictures were received pretty quickly and I did need to talk to customer once (by email). It didn't take them long to respond..... but, so very RUDE!! I was quite surprised how rude the response to my question was. Still, that's not my issue. No one seems to mention the shameless FALSE ADVERTISEMENT practiced by MPBN. They show customers wonderful works by talented artists, then ship customers a computer rendition of the picture. The picture you receive is clunky (big blobs instead of detail that the computer can't distinguish), off color, and cut down (some parts of the picture are cut out). To see what picture they're really going to send you, you must look at pictures prior customers have painted and posted pictures of. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. To make things worse, reviews from customers aren't honest reviews. They filter out low reviews and will not include them. They do include reviews from people who are clueless about paint by numbers. (EX: Just because there are small areas to paint, doesn't mean the picture is detailed!)
To see what I mean, please take a close look at "Central Park". The food cart vendor is missing, as are 2 customers. The buildings in the back ground appear to be melting and have NO detail. The adult with the child looks more like a Pac-Man being fed. The man on the bench reading the paper looks like he has an elephant trunk for a nose..... And many more examples.
Frankly, I'm surprised they haven't been investigated for false advertising. I'm astounded that no one seems to be mention what to me is the biggest issue with MPBN.

If I could give zero stars for customer service I would. Shocking Customer Service!
Have bought 4 paintings in total as gifts. 3 have been completed without incident however 1 of the paint kits supplied contained different colours to the paints advertised so the overall outcome was very bland rather than vibrant
Sent photographs and a lengthy description only to be told that I should have raised the matter within 30 days of purchase. Impossible!! How can someone who works full time complete them all in 30 days!!
No apology for my disappointment not to mention no ownership taken in providing a product that wasn’t as advertised.
Shocking service, avoid at all costs.

Order didn’t arrive. Royal Mail tell me that this problem if for Masterpiece by Numbers to fix. I contacted them via email and they not only refused to rectify the problem but they have not refunded my money either. Don’t waste your time or money. Avoid.

Ordered from them multiple times and the longest I’ve ever had to wait - even during coronavirus - was 5 days. By far they’re the best pbn group I’ve ordered from.

Surprised to read all the bad reviews on here.

I ordered x3 painting by numbers. Yes, it did take a while to arrive. However was really pleased with the quality of the product. Unfortunately x1 of my orders was missing. I emailed and got a response straight away. They apologised and sent me the missing item.

I’ve only just got round to doing one. Really impressed. Would order from again

Now 4 weeks waiting on my order very poor probably now going to have to do a section 75 to get my money back as no reply from emails very poor also with I had read below also covid or not if you cannot run your business correctly shut it down

Disappointed, definitely will not be recommending this company or repurchasing any products.
I was very excited to start my painting, everything was going great for the first week and I was making solid progress on my painting. I enjoyed it very much and I couldn’t wait to finish it and hang it up on my wall. However, about half of the way through, one of the paints ran out, I was confused as I’d used the paint accordingly to the instructions and made sure not to waste any. I emailed the customer service team to request a refill but I was informed that I had to buy a full set if I wanted that specific colour. I was definitely disappointed in this response as now I am unable to finish my painting because I will not be purchasing more paint as that is not what I paid £24 for. Highly disappointed and quite frankly upset with the way I have been ignored by the customer service team. I will not be recommending and I highly suggest you think before you purchase a product from this company as it is a waste of money if you are not given the right amount of paint to complete it.
