**Extremely disappointing quality and a frustrating refund process**

I ordered three garments from Marys Calgary for a total of $229.85 CAD. Unfortunately, the items I received were a serious disappointment and did not reasonably match the products and quality represented on the website.

The Crestine Classic Comfort Sweater was advertised as having double-layered waffle-knit construction and a soft, brushed interior. The sweater I received was extremely thin and did not have the advertised brushed interior. The fabric texture, pattern and buttons also differed from the website photographs.

The Avonnelle Striped Knitted Cardigan was described as thick, soft and cosy. The garment I received had thin material and differed noticeably in texture, buttons and overall appearance.

The Saylor Vintage Soft Denim-Look Overalls had poor finishing, including unevenly positioned buttons, loose threads and flimsy-looking strap hardware.

I contacted customer service, supplied photographs of all three garments, and explained the discrepancies. Rather than agreeing to a full refund, the company successively offered me 10%, 15% and then 20% of my order total if I kept the items.

The alternative was to return the garments to an address in China at my own expense. I was not offered a prepaid return label.

I was particularly disappointed because the website advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee. I expected the company to take my concerns seriously and offer a reasonable solution.

I have spent considerable time corresponding with customer service and trying to resolve this matter.

**My advice to other Canadian shoppers: examine the return policy carefully before ordering, particularly the potential cost and inconvenience of returning merchandise internationally.** Based on my experience, I would not order from this retailer again.

This review reflects my personal experience and the correspondence I have had with the company.

I order a Blazer in a 2X, the sleeves are so narrow. I had my daughter try on the jacket she takes a L and the sleeves were tight on her. Also the Quality does not match the description.

I ordered a sweater and a quilted bag and neither were anything like the description or pictures on the site. Each were of extremely poor quality with the sweater being almost see-through and the button holes were unfinished.
They offered me a 10% refund at first which I refused then they said 15% and keep the sweater (the bag was never addressed) or return it at my cost and they’d send me the return address. Basically a $14 Canadian refund for the sweater, nothing for the bag or paying for tracking postage to I assume China!
I think both options are unsatisfactory but refuse to play tag with emails back and forth to try for a full refund which I know they’ll never agree to.

Please avoid this site as it’s a total scam!

Cheapest thing I’ve ever seen. Not at all like the web site showed. Advertised as a Canadian company MarysCalgary.
It is by far the cheapest piece of clothing I’ve ever had. They’re offering 20% refund - I want full refund which to get that I’d have to ship item to China on my dime. Do not buy from them.

Ordered the stand up
Laundry baskets. They are just thin material for bags. No way they will stand up and be a laundry basket. They say customer satisfaction or money back guarantee. I am waiting now to see if they do send my money back.

Definitely a scam. Clothes are not as advertised are cheap and of poor quality. Labels were removed. Lesson learned, always check reviews on an external website before ordering!

This is a scam. I ordered 2 pieces same sizes. One came small and one too big and the quality was the worst, from China. I asked for return and refund. They started with a 10% money back and for me to keep the piece, after 40 + emails back and forth they agreed for me to return the items but never gave me the address.
I started a credit card dispute. Stay away from them. They are scammers, nothing else.

This is a complete scam !!!!! Stay away. Clothing is a photo image of a sweater on cheap Chinese fabric. Shipped from China. They won’t give you a refund either.

Ordered a sweater from their website site. It was very inferior quality and was not as portrayed on the web site. I asked to return it and after emails back and forth they agreed I could return it paying the shipping fees. When I asked for the address for the return it was an address from China. They asked me to declare it as a $10 value which was much less than I paid. Their web site is set up to look like they are in Calgary Alberta.
