A waste of time and a definite SCAM

What a con!

I filled out surveys, accrued enough for a £10 Tesco's voucher and four months on and numerous emails chasing them up, queuing numbers and showing them the confirmation email, It's a constant "we'll look in to it" via their Zendesk NOTHING

This should be shut down once all outstanding vouchers have been honoured, as it's fraud to take peoples time and not reward it as agreed with the pittance they offer

I agree with many of the contributors. Perhaps I was lucky to receive a £10 Paypal voucher as my first reward, although I had to chase it when my account was continually being “reviewed”. I stuck with them and am now approaching my second payout but there are either no surveys or, today, I can’t login. I just keep getting sent back to the login screen after entering my details, I will no longer waste my time. They are nothing but hassle.

SCAM - Avoid! You will complete surveys and you will not be able to redeem rewards because they tell you online your account needs verifying. Mine has not been verified for 3 weeks and Customer Service do not respond. I fear this is a scam to get you to complete surveys for which they will get paid by the survey companies but they will not pay the survey completers in return.

Signed up. Spent considerable time answering surveys accurately. Got turned down for many or got so many redirects it was a waste of time. Got close to my 1st payout then got permanent ban with no good reason. Avoid these timewasters they are getting rich on the back of your goodwill.

I logged into my account today only to see that 75 points had been deducted with no explanation. Also have completing a good percentage of a survey it is terminated with a message saying you are not a good fit. So I decided to cut my losses and unsubscribed only to get a message saying my account had been frozen due to illegal activity.....NO Maru voice I quit!!!!!! Due to your illegal activity. This company is dishonest with no transparency.

Got permanently suspended without reason after redeeming my first payout.

I have been a member for numerous years. Recently it has become more and more difficult to complete surveys. I often have to try upwards of 10 surveys before one works. I have spent 20 minutes completing one, only to be told it wasn't a good fit. When I do manage to complete enough to get a voucher, it is processed fairly quickly and the voucher does arrive, despite what a lot of reviewers say.

Don’t bother wasting yours on this website as you’ll complete multiple surveys only to not receive anything for them. There’s no active customer service team to support you either, so it’s all just a giant sham

I have not received my voucher that I sent for with my points, I have emailed them over several times but got no response, they used to be good at replying if you had a problem but not this time, and they haven't got a phone number to call them which is very convenient, if I don't get any response soon there is no way I will carry on doing their surveys.

I echo the other posters about this company.For every ten surveys you do you might get paid for five or six of them.Even though you complete the surveys you will not get paid for the others.It is useless contacting customer service about this as there isn't any.Maruvoice refuse point blank to engage with you.There are other far more honest survey companies about.This is one to avoid.

This wretched company have now started DEDUCTING points from your account 2 or 3 days after you have completed and been credited for a survey.If it hasn't happened to you yet it will.MaruVoice are totally and utterly dishonest duplicitous and crooked.Essentially they are just a bunch of thieves.Stay WELL clear of them.

Screened out, screened out, screened out repeat repeat. Absolute joke of a survey site. I hope they pay me when I eventually get to a tenner (probably Xmas 2028).

They will gather as much information from you as possible without payment and when they have enough. Account will be marked " unsubscribed"Customer services department does not exist so don't waste your time. Please heed this warning and do not become another mug ( like me)

Having accrued £10 worth of points, I requested an Amazon gift voucher on March 14th 2025. Having complained about non-receipt on two occasions, I have twice been told the voucher has been re-sent. I made a further complaint to the Maru support address on April 16th to which I have had no response. I leave people to draw their own conclusions

After a few years of completing surveys I finally accumulated enough point to redeem them I redeemed for £10 (yes, only £10 after a few years of work!!) of PayPal payment. It's been now over 3 months and no sign of the PayPal payment. The company also don't respond to my queries and complaints. Not sure what to do now but don't want to give up my fight.

Keep receiving email invites to surveys yet when I try and log into my account, it says that I am unsubscribed. tried to contact Maru but there was an 'error' with the link to their email address.

Saw on Facebook - they clearly know how to target me as the post/invitation was to get paid to answer a survey about a particular interest I have, but this wasn't true at all. No such survey appeared. It was a lie.
It's been a complete waste of time already. After registering, & then being asked to give info on very personal details including my investments, for introductory points admittedly, the links to surveys didn't work because it stated I wasn't using a smartphone, or a computer, or a tablet to participate. Well how did they think I was able to register in the first place? 'Computer says "No"' - usual nonsense. Apparently it's probably cos my phone may not be as up to date as they'd like! It's ridiculous. My phone is fine, supports all kinds of media etc. I'm not going to sit at a computer to do surveys, the whole point was to do them on the go, when I had time, on the bus, while relaxing, watching TV etc..
I've now read an analysis of MaruVoice or MaruVice as my typing seemed to prefer, heh heh (asking for that aren't they?) - from a co. that analyses the dis/advantages & earning potential of these sorts of sites. It warns that many surveys get screened out before finish, & therefore you earn nothing for your time; the 'partner surveys' pay pennies for hours of work, & the overall experience is poor compared to others. Average earnings are at £3 per hour. Not blimmin worth it, is it? Now I know, I'll not get sucked in again to this sort of shabby pathetic excuse of so-called opportunity. It's basically a con, frankly. They're treading a fine line re. exploitation. I'm unsubscribing, but they already have my data & I saw no data protection ts&cs particularly favourable to the participant. Let's see if I now get more spam emails as a result of me believing their hype! Thankfully I didn't give my phone number.
If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. This is. Avoid!

Stuck on 975 points and no surveys forthcoming. Got no points for my last one which took me 15 minutes to complete. Absolute rubbish.

I have been a member of Maru voice for over 6 years without any problems but recently I had managed to reach 1000 points which entitled me to a £10 amazon voucher which I applied for on14 august, after a week 23 august I hadn’t received the voucher so I sent them an email, which they acknowledged, on the 4 September I emailed them again and the said they were “reviewing my application” on the 5 September l told them I was quite prepared to contact Trustpilot , they replied on the 6 September that they were experiencing a high volume of applications and would respond shortly. At the moment I would be wary to recommend this company to anyone, and would suggest that any Maru Voice members be a bit cautious if I get a response from MARU VOICE I will keep you updated

Absolute rubbish, completely misleading advert saying they were looking for golfers to test & keep golf related equipment & supplies. Utterly fake. If I could score it zero I would!
