Defaced Product + Poor Service
Bought a limited edition collab item with a unique numbered box they stickered all over for the delivery. Ten days to respond to my email and then offered a £10 gift card which is pointless as I wouldn't buy from them again.

Cette boutique en ligne est une véritable honte.
Nous avons acheté une lampe Kartell Space pour Noël sur le site Made in Design. Dès la réception, celle-ci n’a jamais fonctionné.
Nous avons contacté le service client afin d’obtenir un échange ou un remboursement. Leur réponse : refus, au motif que nous n’avons plus le carton d’emballage.
Or, la lampe est toujours couverte par la garantie légale de conformité prévue par le Code de la consommation.
Conformément à l’article L217-3 du Code de la consommation, le vendeur est tenu de livrer un bien conforme au contrat et répond des défauts de conformité existant lors de la délivrance du bien.
Selon l’article L217-8, en cas de défaut de conformité, le consommateur a droit à la réparation ou au remplacement du bien. Et lorsque cela est impossible ou refusé, l’acheteur peut obtenir le remboursement.
Le fait de ne plus disposer du carton d’emballage d’origine ne supprime en aucun cas ces droits légaux.
Face à ce refus de respecter leurs obligations légales, nous envisageons désormais une procédure devant le tribunal compétent.
Acheter un produit neuf qui ne fonctionne pas et se voir refuser toute solution est inadmissible.
Je déconseille fortement, ils vendent des lampes hors de prix, qui ne fonctionnent pas !

my kettle was faulty as the filter had broken off, sent an email, within a couple of days was offered a full refund, I asked for the same kettle as I have the toaster, it was no problem, they sent me a new kettle, no fuss at all, brilliant customer service and very on the ball

Delviery was never attempted and the product never arrived and tracking says it's being sent back to depot! When you call they put you on hold and then hang up. Each time I call now it seems to automatically hang up one me! I'm now left without lights and no answers from the company

Regarding your difficulty reaching us by phone, we are very surprised to hear this as our team is fully available and currently taking calls. We would never intentionally cut off a customer; this may be due to a technical glitch with the international line or a temporary peak in volume.
However, we cannot investigate what happened with your parcel or your tracking status because you have not provided an order Number.

This company should not be allowed to…
Order number 200368956. This company should not be allowed to trade with UK. They are scammers. They follow no rules and they are extremely rude. All the information on their website is misleading. The information for delivery is not real no information you about their terms and conditions prior to ordering. When you discover the lie and call them they refuse to cancel the order, they force you to receive the goods and on your expense to return it back! But that's not it they use this company dsv.com to deliver it to you. This is based in UK. Once DSV.com contacts you, even if they know your address, they will refuse to deliver it in front of the house they say -kerbside delivery only. What that means is that you must accept to receive a pallet in the middle of the street, even if your package is just 30 kg. They do not reason with you and they dismiss you back to Made In Design. Stay away from this website. I can see that many others have had so many issues. I will report them to authorities. This is a scam.

Do not buy from this place
I ordered 8 glasses, ended up receiving 2 glasses. Submitted an aftersales support request, they have been radio silent for a whole week. I tried calling their landline, no one picks up. Makes me wonder if it's because they have a poor operations team or if this seller is a scam.

Very happy with my purchase experience

The after sales service is a disaster
The after sales service is a disaster. We ordered a lamp from Sarah Lavoine on the swiss website and when we opened the pack, we observed that one piece was broken. We made a after service request and after more than 10 days, still no answer on how to have the lampe replaced. How complicated can it be!
Every time I call, I get the same message, to be patient as they have delays in the answer! Really disappointing customer experience for a company that sells designer pieces!
Update: I have received your email and replied to you on Thursday. As mentioned in the email, due to the long delay of 11 weeks for replacement, we would rather opt for the reimbursement. Thanks in advance for replying to my email. Best regards

Poor customer service
I ordered a lamp from this company which has a glass shade. When I received the lamp the shade was broken so I contacted them and they agreed to send me a replacement shade. That was seven weeks ago. I'm yet to receive the replacement part and I've had no communication from them. I sent three emails about this matter to their customer support - they didn't have the courtesy to reply
