I really want to like this company, but a lot of things makes that impossible. Their site is a mishmash of bad UX, poor solutions and plugins that don't go together at all. But much worse is their total reluctance to communicate with their customers.

I placed an order for a product in their online store. The product was shipped two days after, which is not good by any western standard, but still acceptable. Now the charade starts. They sent the product to the wrong country. And while it was out for delivery a couple of thousand km off, someone realized this and sent it back to the store.

Madcatz did not inform me about this, the only reason I knew this was because I checked the tracking information of the carrier. I contacted Madcatz and asked them for an explanation and a new delivery date. After two days they responded that they had escalated the matter to another department. Haha... It's now been a week since that information was received and more than two weeks since the initial purchase. The product has not left the store (well, it did once, but you know what happened then), but I have paid it in full. To make matters even more laughable, their online chat support that is marked as online, goes offline as soon as you start chatting with them. Amazing.

Now, I don't have a problem with waiting for a product for more than two weeks, that's OK. But what I totally hate is companies ignoring their customers paying their salaries. I would never recommend this store to anyone I know - I simply don't know anyone that appreciates being ignored by suppliers. All I want is an answer about what is going on and what they are doing to solve the situation - that's exactly what I'm not getting. Embarrassing.

There are so many good and customer oriented companies out there and this one is definitely not one of those. Stay away.

I'm the proud owner of a RAT 9 gaming mouse, and I've never been happier ! That is until the batteries broke a few weeks back. The warranty had expired, and the price for a new pair + porto + import tax and all that ended up being quite expensive. I tried to contact local electronic stores to see if they had them, or were able to purchase some through the store, to no avail.

As a final resort I contacted Madcatz with my issue, and they didn't skip a beat in sending me a fresh pair of new ones, free of charge. I'll without a doubt come back for more from them.

I got a R.A.T. 5 gaming mouse a while back, and I had problems with the middle mouse button and some Windows recognizion, so I wrote an email to support. They sent me a new mouse right away, when they couldn't resolve the problems with the mouse via email.

There were problems with the mouse, though, but I enjoyed it very much when it worked as intended. Bottom line: Stuff with the product went wrong, but they weren't hesitant to replace it.
