I recently visited McIntyres for the first time in over twenty years, and I was delighted with the experience. The team were warm, welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. Lin was amazing and did a fantastic job cleaning my jewellery, bringing it back to life. The excellent customer service and attention to detail made my visit truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend McIntyres to anyone looking for a friendly and professional jeweller.

I ordered the beautiful watch without any issues, however the postage let us down, Lynn was amazing! customer service is really good.the watch is in good condition and the packaging was only good but amazingly presented

Ordered a watch online, posted royal mail, tracked only on delivery. Now lost in the post, staff laugh it off, " you know royal mail", " it's out of our hands now". Rude staff who have no understanding. Not to be trusted and will never use again

If you’re looking for excellent service beautiful surroundings and above all a large choice of gifts then Macintyres of Edinburgh is the place to go. If your looking for like me a diamond for a special occasion the "4Cs": Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat are all explained. Staff were so thoughtful while expertly asking my price range but in saying that I was pleasantly surprised by what I could afford. I left the shop with a huge smile and will always recommend Macintyres of Edinburgh.

As a family we have alwase gone to Macintyres of Edinburgh for all our celebrations. For the last 20 years they have provided excellent advice, guidance and choice. For quite frankly fantastic and affordable prices.
They make all of the family feel special. We are sometimes not sure and the staff go the extra mile to find something special. We alwase find that something different, unique and just to suite each of us and our own individual taste.

We are able to invest in gifts for family and friend and also they have something timeless to pass on to their kids.

As you have gathered we like shoping and have alwase been happy with every purchase from big items to snall impulse trinkets.

Went to Macintyers of Edinburgh to buy a special piece of Jewellery for a special birthday.The member of staff asked me what I wanted and also what I already had. She then brought out a variety of different pieces of Jewellery for me to look at. Time seemed to be no problem, she was always courteous and helpful. I decided on an emerald and diamond bracelet that matched other pieces I already had. Not only is it lovely ,it was a great price. All their prices are fantastic. Everybody very very helpful.Defainatly worth the trip from Glasgow for the good service, great prices and lovely Jewellery & Gift, that’s why I always go there. Thank you Macintyers you are great.

I have bought several pieces from Macintyres including my engagement ring and a pair of diamond earrings. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and never pushy (my personal preference, I don’t like being rushed to buy). They took the time to explain the differences in diamond grades and helped me find exactly what I wanted without going over budget 💸

What really sets them apart is the value. I saved over 30% compared to high street stores, and the quality is even better.

I highly recommend them if you are looking for quality jewellery, fair pricing, and a personal touch 💍

They seem friendly enough, but I bought a watch for my mother that turned up in used condition. Various little marks on it like it had been steam cleaned, sticker on back had clearly been peeled off and stuck back on, and it was rattling around in the box, not put on the little card cylinder to hold it still.

Naturally my mother wanted to return it as it wasn't in new condition, and decided she wanted a different watch instead. They told us they would refund the postage costs and we could pay the difference for the more expensive watch. Then after the return they just refunded us, minus the return postage, and said they've inspected it, it's not broken, therefore they won't refund the returns costs. We never claimed it was broken, and queried this but were ignored.

So be aware if there's issues they will tell you one thing, but then do the other, not fulfilling what they told you in the first place. They also said they don't sell customer returns... Well what do you do when something is returned? Cause this was clearly used by someone, wasn't even boxed properly, and you're obviously going to sell the watches people send back.

So this experience has unfortunately left a bitter taste and I won't be using them again. Go elsewhere.
Would not be surprised if they reply to this with an altered narrative, but I have truthfully told of the events here, so do with that as you will.

Absolutely first class service! The staff are so helpful and spent so much time with my son while he chose an engagement ring for his girlfriend. They helped him take get exactly what he wanted and did not rush home m into making a decision. In the end they made one to his exact specifications at an excellent price and it is absolutely beautiful.
The staff are always very welcoming & helpful. They also know their stuff when it comes to precious stones & metals and can feel be excellent advice. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I have purchased jewellery from McIntyres for a long time and wouldn’t go anywhere else now.
On my last visit 2 weeks ago I spoke with Maz, Emily A & Nicole and as usual the service was excellent!
These ladies have years of experience and definitely make you feel important.
Their level of customer service is off the highest standard and nothing is any trouble to them.
On my last visit, as well as a repair, I asked for some advice on cleaning a bangle my mum has had for over 50 years.
They actually cleaned it there and then and my mum was quite overwhelmed with the result.
Thank you once again ladies, you are a credit to the company.

I placed an order on Monday 24th February expecting to receive it by Friday 28th February as it was to be sent by Royal Mail First Class Post signed for. I received confirmation the order was with Royal Mail the same day. Unfortunately the parcel did not arrive as expected and I therefore phoned Macintyres. They were so helpful and professional confirming they would resend the item on the basis I would send 1 back if both arrived. As it happened it arrived an hour later and I was able to let the company know before they had dispatched the second item. The experience has restored my faith in dealing with online ordering as so often nothing can be done for 30 days. The postman did acknowledge that I should have received the order on the Friday. What a pity Royal Mail no longer gives the service it was once famous for. Thank you Macintyres for being so professional and helpful. I would not hesitate to order from you again.

I popped in to MacIntyres today to ask about having a ring resized. I'd bought the ring here 10 years earlier and found them very professional, so i thought i'd go back with my issue (the ring was now firmly stuck on my fat finger).
The assistant was super helpful and not only did she manage to remove the ring from my finger within seconds, she even resized it on the spot (stretched, not cut) and free of charge! Amazing service, thank you MacIntyres.

I went into mcintyres for a browse and possibly a sale I was served by a beautiful young lady called Daisy, she was very friendly and helpful and her professional guidance and knowledge of the jewellery was exceptional, I was shown rings that were already made for customers to which were absolutely beautiful so my mind was made up I ended up buying 2 beautiful ruby rings and I am so excited to seeing them in all their glory. Now I can truly understand why Elizabeth Taylor had a love affair with jewellery. From now on this is the Jeweller’s for me
