Scam. Do not do business with this company, No goods, no intention of sending goods, still fighting for refund.

Terrible company, terrible communication. Paid for advanced shipping (4 days max) and never got the Mac. The live chat just kept telling me "its processing". Pretty sure this is a scam

The order took much longer than expected, but I had ordered from this vendor before so I felt confident it would eventually arrive and in perfect condition, which it did.

They were excellent at communication during the process always answering every message, and when their was a problem in suppling the service fact model I had originally wanted they were very accommodating is offering a viable alternative.

In the end, they were able to supply what I wanted, and it arrived in perfect condition and has worked without fail since.

I have mixed feelings about this company. I have ordered twice from them now. The first order went well and without a hitch, the iPad was in excellent condition and the whole process from ordering to delivery was relatively smooth. However, I have now repeated my order a few months later and it has now been over 3 weeks and my order still says processing. I have spoken to customer service twice to find out what has happened to my order and they keep saying they will look into it and get back to me but they don’t get back to me. I am getting frustrated with them now, the customer service is bad as they seem to forget about me as soon as they put the phone down.

Even if this order gets fulfilled eventually, I wouldn’t use the company again and I’m not sure I would recommend them. It seems to be very hit and miss as to whether you’ll get an easy order experience. They are a very small outfit it seems and the staff I have spoken to on customer service were sometimes hard to understand.

I don’t want to call them a scam since I had a decent experience with them for my first order but the fact with my 2nd order they are not getting back to me and they have my money makes me uneasy.

**02/08/22 UPDATE**

My previous comments spurned them on to fix this situation. They said that the iPad they were preparing to send to me was upon further inspection slightly damaged (I paid for a Grade A model) so they were trying to source an alternative model. They eventually sent out a different one to me but the screen was scratched so I had to return it to them to repair it (return postage was free). I waited another week and it didn’t arrive on the date they’d said I’d get it. They said that instead of repairing the screen they would source me yet another unit. I explained to them that my business was suffering as I needed 2 iPads. A few more days went by and finally I received the new model which was in very good Grade A condition.

So, they did come through in the end. I now have two Grade A fully functional iPads as described. As I said the first order was a great experience. However, the experience this 2nd time around was difficult and I think if they wish to be taken seriously as a business they need to take notice of the reviews on here by customers who have had similar experiences and ensure they don’t happen again. They have apologised to me and assured me this won’t happen again so perhaps they should be given a chance. After all the prices are reasonable for a Grade A model with warranty. On the whole I would consider using them again but perhaps not if I needed the item in a rush.

DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. 6 weeks after I ordered a refurbished iPad Pro I was phoning the company every day to ask where the order was. Every time they'd reassure me it was on its way and I'd have it by the end of the week.
After giving up and asking to cancel they said I'd have a refund by 14 working days later. I am now raising a dispute with my bank as the company keep telling me the money will be in my account in a few days.
I believe this company take your money, don't send you anything and then hope you give up trying to get it back. IT'S A SCAM WEBSITE

I have just been reading some of the recent reviews. To be honest I hadn't read any before purchasing as I had previously helped an elderly friend buy a refurbished iMac which went without a hitch. I am very surprised at the negative ones as my experience was excellent.

My only gripe was I expected delivery within four working days of placing my order. When my order was confirmed I was told it would be five. On the fifth day I chased it up via email and received my refurbished MacBook Pro 2015 the following day.

I had to replace my old 17-inch MacBook Pro 2009 simply because the OS was no longer supported and I was having problems whilst surfing the net and I didn't fancy downsizing to a smaller screen as the 17-inch was discontinued. I don't like Windows PCs, so clumsy compared to the user friendly Mac. As I am retired now I couldn't justify buying a new Mac as they are so expensive so buying a refurbished one from a company which provides a year's warranty was the way to go for me. The computer is in excellent condition and I'm getting used to the smaller 15-inch screen. All in all, I am very happy!

Order #100009120. Refurbished macbook for a child going into hospital. Ordered on a Monday on a 3 day, 4 day or 5 day delivery - depends what you read. Paid through AmazonPay which still showed that the order was 'processing' on Thursday. Called them Thursday to be told that I should get it the following Monday. To be honest I was suprised they answered the phone so I thought I might actually receive it. Nothing arrived Monday. Called them to be told item wasn't available but a more expensive one was. They said they had sent me an email - no they hadn't. Told them to cancel the order. They promised an email to confirm but nothing received. Subsequent emails from myself are not responded to. Am going through credit card disputes. They don't reply to any emails you send. I needed the item in a hurry and I wish I hadn't ordered from them. I'm now £578 out of pocket and I've had to reorder.

Thank you guy's for a fantastic iMac, it defiantly was worth the wait, the service is very professional and the team attend to your needs within good timing. Keep up the good service.

Its hard to describe exactly how bad my experience with them truly was. Delays to delivery (which didn't happen in the end), endless attempts to contact them without an answer from them, and broken promises. Situation was so bad I eventually had to turn to Paypal to have it sorted and refunded via Paypal's payment protection promise.

Excellent prompt service, they even provided a more powerful unit than what was ordered initially at no extra cost

I ordered a laptop on line and changed my mind same day so I phoned to cancel. The guy I spoke was rude, offensive with an attitude like I'd kicked sand in his kids face. He eventually said he'd arrange a refund. I'd originally bought through a Paypal loan and just naively thought Mac4sale would refund it and then the Paypal loan would be cancelled. Nope, not until I was alerted that the next payment for the loan was due did alarm bells ring.

I called Mac4sale and got an apology saying it would be sorted and later the following week I was alerted of a Paypal refund for the full amount. Relief. Oh no, the following week the refund was cancelled.

So final email sent, I will take steps etc. notifying Trading Standards, Paypal etc. writing Trustpilot review. Later same day refund in my Paypal account, and less than a week later it was again cancelled.

I wouldn't trust this company. They have owed me over £500 for three months.

Why cancel my refund ? Twice ?

Got sent a faulty iPad, sent it back and kept getting given excuses for how long it was taking to get a working iPad. Kept asking for a refund and being told to give them more time. Took over 9 weeks for me to get a working iPad. Not great when I needed it for uni.

Amazing company, over the past few weeks, i have been speaking with Aliza who’s been keeping me updated with my order, she’s been very responsive and has re assured me that everything is ok, iv been told I will be receiving my laptop over the next two days, can’t wait to recieve it

Now this is a story all about how my mac purchase got flipped turned upside down and Id like to take a moment if I can to tell you about this dodgy company called Mac4Sale...Or Safe PC Disposal or Safe PC Direct or Refurb Mac or whatever other name you find that they are trading under!! So I ordered a 2015 2.5Ghz i7 MBP on 17th April 2022 with 4 day delivery. As I was working away I expected it to be ready and waiting when I got home a week later...But it wasnt so I called the nice people on the 29th April (as I had been busy) and asked where it was and was told that it was packaged and ready to go but because it was a bank holiday they couldnt dispatch it until the 3rd or 4th but I would have it on Tuesday for sure (the 3rd?!?!) So with no tracking information we missed the first attempt at delivery on the 3rd and more by luck than judgement we managed to get it on the 4th. Excitedly I sat down on the morning of the 5th to setup the machine...but theres a password on it!! Called them to be told they have to do that for security then when I challenged that I was told it was so they could test the machine. Once logged on and while still on the phone I thought I would check the system spec...Hang on a moment this is a 2.2Ghz machine...According to the lady on the phone thats what I ordered but it wasnt then I was told there was no difference between processors and it would be fine for what I needed it for! I didnt know anyone was that good at customer service to know what I was going to use something for. So i dug a little deeper and found partitions on the hard drive which couldnt be explained and also noted they hadnt sent a power supply which when I questioned i was told it was because they couldnt be sure which part of the world the machine was being used in...ermmmm you have dispatched it to the UK from the UK maybe thats a hint. Anyway they agreed to swap it for the correct item as it was in stock and as soon as they got the incorrect item back they would dispatch the correct one...The item was returned by DPD and they received it over a week ago. when I called this morning I was told they would need to look into the correct machine...a call back later on tells me that the machine that was ment to come to me has been recalled by Apple for faulty batteries and they cant dispatch it until the issue is sorted. They offered me a 2017 machine (which I have seen mentioned on several reviews) of the same or better value but its fair to say at this point I dont trust them to send me anything like what I ordered! I have asked for a refund which they couldnt give me a processing time for and seemed shocked that I would want to go down that route as their customer service had been so good...Outright jokers and scammers and digging into some of the 5* reviews its funny how they are made by people with the same names as some of the staff I have spoken to...AVOID!!!!!

Ordered a refurbished pair of Beats Solo 3 three weeks ago. No confirmation of dispatch and zero communication when I have since emailed to ask this to be sent.

Perfect! Great prices, delivery was longer than stated, but understandable in this current climate. Every thing was exactly as described. Will deffinitely use again.

Ordered a MacBook Pro 2017, received a call almost a week later to say it wasn’t acceptable to be sold so they offered an older MacBook. Refused this offer and agreed a 2017 MacBook Pro with touch bar. They then sent after almost 2 weeks a 2016 MacBook Pro without touch bar. We complained and was promised by Aliza a swap via courier however when courier was sent no laptop was provided so no swap was done. We then had several phone calls from Aliza where she shouted down the phone at us and refused to get a word in edgeways. We then got an email to say they were cancelling our order and redirecting an alleged delivery of the correct MacBook elsewhere and they won’t be delivering our goods and doing the replacement they promised. I’m now having to take them to court to get either my goods or my money as they won’t do the right thing. Would rate 0 but unfortunately I can’t. Update of the mac4sale scam. So they emailed me with a pick up label for Dpd on the same day of the pick which is absolutely stupid but with this company I’m really not surprised, so the Dpd come to collect the MacBook which mac4say had sent instead of the one I ordered which by the way they blamed on Dpd and I had to tell them we hadn’t got the label as it had come through after they had come to get it. I then get a call from aliza I would say asking but she rather had a go at me for the fact I couldn’t give the Dpd guy the MacBook and again blamed Dpd, so I told her once she had finally shut up that they need to send the label at least a day before it’s due to be collected but she didn’t seem to understand that so I had to simplify this already simple task which she had finally understand. I get an email with the label on that day which is great I can finally be done with mac4sale but no the label they send couldn’t be scanned by the Dpd’s scanner so again I couldn’t send it off with them, and again aliza called me still in the same rude way as all the other called I’ve had to endure from her. I then had to explain that they sent me a dodgy label which Dpd couldn’t scan which was somehow Dpd’s fault again, they seem to love blaming any problems they have with their own company on other people an companies. So again I get emailed a label and this kinda of works, the Dpd couldn’t scan it so they say they’re going to take it and scan it at the headquarters which is alright with me as it gets the crap MacBook out of my hair but wait I get a call from aliza saying I haven’t given it to Dpd so I have to tell her to actually listen which takes a good 5 minutes or so because she isn’t the type of creature that has common sense an lets the customers actually talk with them telling her to shut up. I then go on to explain as simply as I could that I had given It to Dpd and explained what actually happened an that they sent me another crap label but Dpd would be able to scan it at their headquarters which she didn’t seem to understand and then still said I hadn’t given it to them. I simply said well I have a cctv camera at the front of my house and have video evidence that they have it, she finally understand then. A couple of days later I get a message with a photo saying that it has been delivered to mac4sale headquarters, so as they have been doing I emailed them saying that I have received a message with a photo that you have now got the MacBook back can you please confirm this your and what do you know they refuse to answer me back. So it’s alright for them to do it to us but not the other way round. I’d still give them a 0 rating or even lower if it was possible but unfortunately I can’t. This company needs to be put down asap. Avoid at all costs unless you wanna have fun with some scammers that is but no seriously avoid this company, they also go under safepc direct and safepc support.

I never asked you do do any such thing. I pointed out that through the HMRC - the Channel Islands are ZERO rated for VAT. I never tried to Extort anything from you. You are a complete and utter LIAR. It was you who offered me a miserable 3% discount if I were to pay a different way, which made me suspicious - especially, when the difference of not being Illegally charged VAT was 20% in the first instance.

Update:- they have since delivered the correct MacBook after stating they were cancelling the order and not refunding as I promised to go up to their “warehouse” in Oxford if they didn’t. However the aftermarket power supply they provided is faulty and will need replacing. They also tried to get this review changed to SafePCDirect, one of the other names they use to try to spread their bad reviews out. You’ll also notice all the positive reviews on their Facebook page are from Indians and every British person leaves bad reviews, and it transpires that Aliza is Indian so it’s clear to see how the positive reviews come about…
