Worst experience ever!!!
Worst experience ever. I bought 2. One for me and one for my mom. They both stopped working and cannot be turned on. Customer support is terrible one on one. The only time they respond is to not look bad. Would not believe a word they say or waste my time with this type of company.

Ik ben teleurgesteld in mijn ervaring met Luman.
Ik wilde mijn bestelling annuleren en de enige manier om dat te doen was via e-mail. Dat heb ik direct gedaan, maar voordat ik überhaupt reactie kreeg, kreeg ik al een verzendbevestiging. Hierdoor was annuleren niet meer mogelijk en moet ik het nu retour sturen.
Ik vind het niet logisch dat er geen snellere of directe manier is om een bestelling te annuleren (zoals via je account of via de bevestigingsmail). Als e-mail de enige optie is, verwacht ik dat dit ook snel wordt opgepakt. Dat is helaas niet het geval.
Hierdoor zit ik nu met extra moeite en mogelijk kosten, terwijl ik juist op tijd heb geprobeerd te annuleren (echt binnen een half uur na het plaatsen van mijn bestelling).
Ik zou aanraden om hier rekening mee te houden voordat je bestelt.

Watch out! this company kept my money.
Last year I have bought the Lumen Pro, the “new version”. This company said it was pre-ordered, that the new device was going to be ready to ship 1st quarter this year. I haven’t received the device, I have sent emails and NO answer back and now I see they no longer advertise or have it for sale.

Update: The Lumen app has helpful information but...
The Lumen app has helpful information however, I keep forgetting use it. The reason I cam giving them only 4 stars is I received email notification that my Lumen was being renewed on 04/17/2026. I much appreciate it however, I want to cancel it. I deleted account on app today and haven received email confirmation from Lumen. When I saw this I also Deleted account on their web site. Still no confirmation email or sorry to see you go emails. :-0) If Lumen representative receives this message be advised if I am charged a renewal fee it will be reported to my bank as fraud.
I'm surprised Lumen doesn't have auto responder for these type of requests.

Update, changed rating from 4-1. Customer Support and Customer Service does not communicate well with each other. As a result. I was charged $159.00 today rather than on what was supposed to be 4-17-26. Also, Customer Service emailed me earlier today and talked me into keeping Lumen and only paying $80.00 renewal fee. Tonight they billed me the full $159.00. I emailed them tonight and asked for a full refund and confirmation email that I would not be charged $80.00 to renew on 4/17/2026. I also want to delete/deactivate my account. It's I've wasted enough time and too much confusion due to their poor customer service and support. Updates to follow.

To clarify, deleting your Lumen profile is not the same as canceling your membership. To stop renewal billing, the membership must be canceled either within the Lumen app or by contacting support. Once the cancellation is completed, a confirmation email is automatically sent.
That said, this is not the experience we want for our customers, and we apologize for the lack of clarity and consistency in communication. There’s a little bit of a learning curve but plenty of resources from the other users in the community and in the app. The food tracking in the app is basic and I barely use it because of its limitation; overall I will buy this device again and I will recommend it to friends and family.
