I used this product for the first time just shortly before posting this review. It took only one use to experience what everyone else is saying on here. My scalp started burning a bit after applying the shampoo & conditioner, and then I noticed my hair started falling out quite a bit. I'm still easily pulling out hair as I sit here and write this. My scalp is also still tingling a bit. I was excited about this brand because the products smell amazing, but it's definitely not worth losing all of my hair over. I'd recommend staying away from this product. It will do more harm than good.

I thought I did my research and had found the perfect product. I read the seller description and read the ingredients. I did not read these reviews until I had already switched. I have used LB&P for about 2 months. I thought I had upgraded. This product has caused my hair to become coarse and thin. Everywhere I look there is my hair on the floor. It comes out in the shower and if I so much as touch it, there's hair in my hand. PLEASE, if you haven't begun to use this product, save yourself. It is not good. I hate to waste but this stuff is going in the trash where it belongs.

Purchased Love Beauty and Plant last month and had noticed hair falling out from the roots each time I used this shampoo. Didn’t think anything of it and continued to use it till I had a handful of hair come out during a wash. Head doesn’t itch,no bumps. Great with dyed hair because color doesn’t bleed. But the fact my hair is falling out is very bad. It shouldn’t be allowed to be sold with so many complaints. Something needs to be done about this product!

Major hairloss after using it about 3 weeks. I was thinking it was postpartum hair loss but no. This is hand gulls every time I would take a shower. DO NOT BUY.

My girlfriend bought this for me because I exclusively use Dr. Bronner's. She said the Dr. Bronners would dry out my scalp so she bought me the Love Beauty and Planet Shampoo, Conditioner AND body wash. After the first couple uses I noticed my head was itching MAJORLY. I didn't think anything of it and thought maybe it was my diet as I've been eating some fast food lately. After a week a noticed minor shedding. I thought maybe I was stressed. After 2 weeks of consistent use I noticed a lot hair getting stuck to my comb. After three weeks my hair is coming out in handfuls while I shower. I've stopped using the product for one week and I'm still losing hair. I'm a 35 year old male but usually get confused for being 24-26 easily. I took pride in the youthful look of my full head of hair but now my hair is SOOOO thin. I can see my scalp. Especially when I get my hair wet, the scalp visibility is unreal. This is super depressing, frustrating and angering. I was angry at my girlfriend, although I didn't express this to her, for making me switch my shower products.This definitely DID NOT make my hair better. I've been noticing flaking and rashes on my scalp, eyebrows and face lately as well. I've been getting itchy all over my body for the past couple weeks. I can usually fly with showering once per day but lately I feel as though I need to shower every couple of hours due to extreme itchiness. I had underwent some chemo a couple of years ago. I lost some hair and had regrown my hair. This product has destroyed my confidence in my hair, my skin and my overall health.

I loved this product until I started noticing extreme hair fall. My hair has gotten thinner. 😭

I used this shampoo and conditioner only about 5 times and already started noticing a ton of hair loss and thinning. It would come out in chunks more than I've ever seen it. Very upsetting because it sounded like such a good product and company but its not. Still causing major hair loss over a month after I stopped using it. Very concerned I'm going going end up with almost no hair.

I would give zero stars if I could. I used the coconut LBP for over a year, and my hair has been thinning so badly.. at first I thought it was caused by other related issues.. but after reading so many other reviews I believe it was my shampoo and conditioner. My hair on my entire head has thinned so badly, I’ve considered shaving it entirely.. DO NOT USE THIS BRAND!!!

Like many other reviews, I have had significant and embarrassing hair loss after using LBP’s Blooming Color shampoo and conditioner for about 3 months. It hasn’t been coming out in clumps like some of the other reviews say, but when I put it in a ponytail, you can literally see my scalp in many places. I’m so heartbroken, I used to have fairly thick hair. Now I’m worried about how my hair looks every 2 seconds. Glad to see this wasn’t just my experience, DON’T BUY THIS BRAND!

I used the Love Beauty and Planet Sulfate-Free Black Tea Kombucha & Red Ginger Shampoo - 13.5oz twice...one time was a very quick shower then the second time i let the shampoo stay on my scalp for a bit while I shaved... next thing you know my head was on FIRE! I had severe redness on my forehead and scalp and this all happened yesterday yet I still feel pain today! I really advise against these products and believe they should be immediately pulled from the shelves. If a kid gets ahold of these...beware :(

I have been losing an extreme amount of hair recently, so much that I’m getting my hair cut to allow it to look a little less horrific. I googled lbp hair loss just to see if this is where the hair loss could be coming from, and sure enough, tons of reviews just in the past month. I definitely think this company needs a lawsuit because my hair has never been so damaged and thin. I look sick. Thank you all for sharing your experiences

LBP CAUSES LITERAL TRAUMA AND PANIC ATTACKS! i've been using LBP coconut & mimosa water volume & bounty conditioner since march. up until june-early august 2021, ive been noticing minimal hairloss. i thought this was just due to back to school stress and the fact that i have bushy/thick hair. however, come mid-august i begin losing CLUMPS and STRANDS of hair everyshower. i began to fear for my scalp everytime i had to wash. i literally dreaded hair wash days. up until a few days ago, i found this website FULL of reviews claiming LBP causes hair loss. i know without a doubt that these reviews are correct and genuine. never use this product if you have bad anxiety + care for your hair. im still scared for my next wash. P.S! i began using aquableu anti-thinning shampoo and conditioner after abandoning LBP. its very good so far. i recommend.

Hate this so much my scalp is constantly itchy I literally just washed it and my hair is already oily. My scalp is driving me crazy

I have been using the conditioner for about 2 months maybe, I didn't notice at first really but I was losing a lot of hair. Recently I went to get my hair cut and my hair stylist told me I was losing a lot of hair. This conditioner is causing me to lose so much hair. Horrible.

Was really great at first but then I started losing a lot of hair anf getting red sores on my scalp.

I really like these products, and I've been using them for a little over year now with none of the issues mentioned here. Maybe it's a hair type issue? My hair is straight and thick, very typical nordic type. I am of course also in Europe, I don't know if it's the same factory for all their products.

Caused major hair loss and makes my scalp itch like crazy. My hair gets oily now after washing it and just sleeping. I used to love this brand and thought there was no way it could be their product causing me problems until my mom mentioned it as well.

Have been using this brand shampoo and conditioner for a little over a month and have noticed my scalp becoming increasingly irritated and itchy. Now I feel like my hair is thinning and I think I might be missing chunks in the back of my head. I haven’t been pulling out big clumps at a time like some of these other reviews are saying but I have noticed significant thinning. Would never use this again. I’ve always had thicker hair and now I’m worried about it all growing back the same.

long story short i’ve been trying to grow my hair out and now i have to shave my head bc i’m missing chunks. don’t ever buy this.
