Followed complaints procedure got a generic reply not answering any of our issues raised , e mailed sales manager but no reply , has to be one of the worst car dealer ships we have dealt with , now going to e mail Volvo as they are a disgrace to Volvo reputation .

Appalling experience from Lookers Ford in Braintree. The car I received was of a completely different spec to what was advertised. Eg. No adaptive cruise control, no blind spot monitoring, no airplay, no 360 degree camera, no premium stereo. I could go on. When I called to complain on the day I took the vehicle home, the sales person who I spoke to knew which car had been misadvertised without me having to give any details. They were aware that the information about the car on auto trader was incorrect and failed to tell me. Since then I have called and spoken to the business manager and the Branch Manager. He promises to find me a replacement car but nothing happens. I even showed him a suitable replacement car of the correct spec available nearby .No one has ever called me or emailed me. The only communication is when I chase them. I complained via the Lookers head office complaint process whose SLA is to respond in 14 days. I have heard nothing. I am now having to go to the Ombudsman to try and resolve the misadvertising issue. I expected a main dealer to act in a professional manner.

My car was in for an emergency recall free airbag replacement (impressive enough given it is now 18+ years old).
Even though the garage were not making money directly out of me, they washed and valeted the car (it now looks only 8 years old!) and gave me a health check on a few things to look out for. Not only that the contact at booking and during the day was excellent. Lovely people who were very accommodating. Genuine 10/10

I have been trying to contact Lookers Tonbridge for 3 days , and just seem to be connected to a northern call centre where they lack any knowledge or accurate pricing

twice i spoke to someone with a northern accent who was totally clueless about service costs , service plans or booking info, and actualluy gave me false information about what is required for a service plan ... shocking !!

Twice i requested the branch to call me , and twice ignored
i filed a complaint that has also been ignored
i even mailed the CEO whop was equally as indifferent and chose to ignore my pleas to do that sinful act , which is to actually speak to the branch where you're tying to spend money

in desperation after 3 days , i pressed the sales option, as that is rarely understaffed , and actually got through to the branch as was able to get transferred

Unfortunately every local Mercedes dealership is also lookers , or i would have voted with my feet and took my money elsewhere

i will update this review if the service i receive when they have my car is equally as terrible

They then reply to this review saying please call this number 0161 291 0043 , which just says “ we are closed “ … JOKE

Twice now we've experienced bad service from these guys, 1, broked in for MOT on a Saturday and they changed the day to the Friday with no communication and 1, booked in for a service plan and contacted them on multiple occasions, over a number of weeks, to confirm service plan agreement coverage and they did not respond until the day before the booking to say the service plan is not covered at their dealership... Serious lack of communication from this dealership.

I was having a moan about the technicians
how bad they were now I want to apologise to the Staff .
But after 12 months my car is now getting repaired I hope

I visited Lookers Newcastle for a bodywork repair.
From first contact with Aaron, it all went so smoothly and the result, painted by Jay is more than I expected. I would say he is a great asett to your Company.
You would never know it had been painted.
The whole experience was first class, Aaron was polite, knowledgeable and extremely kind. I would reccomend this site to anyone.

Fabulous service from Kevin & Sue at lookers Chelmsford. I was looked after so well & they both made finding, purchasing & getting to grips with my XC40 such a good experience. Still not had £500 deposit after deciding not to go ahead with sale. Took 2 weeks of chasing and calls rarely returned.
Car advertised as full service history - it had 1 service in 5 years, which was when Lookers purchased it. Felt misleading.
Poor communication throughout at Walton branch.

Lovely receptionist who was knowledgeable and helpful. One star off because I wanted a service and mot but the online booking form was not easy to use and the garage only had the mot scheduled. They would have tried to fit it in but because it was an audi the parts needed ordering in specially. Also for some reason I was told that the online service record could not be updated by them. Other audi approved dealers have in past been able to record.

Extremely disappointing experience at Mercedes Tonbridge. I selected a used car, paid the deposit and the full balance prior to delivery, and was assured the car would be valeted and fully charged beforehand, as one would reasonably expect.

Unfortunately, the car arrived absolutely filthy, with used tissues, coins, grease marks and dust throughout. It was worse than when I test drove it. Despite contacting them numerous times over the past couple of months by phone and email, and providing photographic evidence, I have received no response or resolution.

By far the worst car-buying experience I’ve ever had. I would not buy a used car from Mercedes-Benz again.

Following the worst experience- I followed the complaints procedure. Waste of time, they don't even bother to read emails in a complaints procedure. They don't even have the decency to call a customer in a complaint - I tried to call them but no reply no call back "as phones are charging" .Never seen a company mess up so much.

I have been looking for a car for a little while now and have had a few experiences which were less than desirable at other dealerships. However, with Lookers Nissan Gateshead, I felt very welcome! From start to finish David was very patient, informative and friendly. I found the car that I liked and was able to test drive it. The deposit has been paid and I am over the moon with the service I have received!
David explains everything in a way that is understandable. He will explain it more than once, if needed! He is very patient and considerate. When he says that he will e-mail you, he will! Very reliable, friendly and knowledgeable.
I would recommend this branch to anyone!

Terrible experience at Lookers Vauxhall Birmingham. Car booked in for service and MOT via BookMyGarage.com, they obviously hate that you get a good price and try and recoup money by finding faults. I received a call from Jess (receptionist) stating my brake pads needed replacing or it would fail the MOT. I agreed to pay £199 as I had no choice. Then received service video stating pads were at 4mm, 3mm is an advisory and 1.5mm is a fail. Complained when collected car and Jess stated, "well that's what the mechanic told me", then threw up a smokescreen stating I was being stroppy! terrible customer service and blatantly lie to get unnecessary work done. Made a complaint and awaiting reply.

Made a complaint about the Sales Manager at Mercedes Tonbridge on the 18th August & no response back apart from looking into the matter. My recent experience commencing on the 16th June is that after purchasing about 10 Mercedes over the years this Brand has the most appalling Manufacturer customer services, absolutely hopeless.
Bought a brand new car & after 5 days had a minor accident & been without the car ever since, no one can give any updates on the repair apart from awaiting parts. I would not recommend buying a Mercedes, & i will never buy another one, the whole operation are a complete joke!

I purchased an Enyaq in August 2026 through the Motability scheme and Skoda Stockport offered excellent service.
I was firstly greeted by Lindsay on reception. Lindsay was so welcoming, professional and hospitable whilst we waited to speak to James, the Motability specialist.
James was knowledgeable, thorough and very patient. As a person with speech difficulties, he listened to my queries and nothing was to much trouble.
The ordering and collection of my car was smooth and trouble-free.
I collected my car yesterday and James has already rang me to check how I am finding it. I would definitely recommend Skoda Stockport.

Our salesman was called Nick what a really nice genuine guy made our visit even nicer and explained absolutely everything about our new car also had a sense of humour and made us laugh thank you Nick at Torre Road Leeds.
