LawPay failures cost my business time and mineg
LawPay does not obtain authorizations prior to processing cards through links sent to clients which resulted in a dispute and reversal of a clients entire retainer, plus fees charged by LawPay to me.

Are you referring to a client chargingback a transaction, was this an eCheck transaction, or are you saying we authorized a transaction and then pulled the funds back. Beware if you use this service!
If you make a payment to a lawyer's office using this service you might think you are making a one time payment. However they allow the law office to push payments to your credit card even though you have not given your expressed consent to do so. They say that they will always advocate for there client and don't care about the consumer.

There are charges we were not made…
There are charges we were not made aware of, and also the website does not allow to track pending invoices, just payments received. I think there are things that can be done to make it better and to make the integration with Mycase better but instead they focused on getting as many people to sign on as possible without really caring about the quality of the service.

Lack of full integration to MyCase
We use MyCase and are frustrated that the features of LawPay that we need (cc fee’s, pay later, echeck payments from our end) do not work without a stand alone LawPay account. It’s costing us time to save money on CC processing fees.

Ease of us and such great results
Ease of us and such great results from the billing and invoicing aspect of the program. Saves me the time of involvement and clients pay faster through links embedded in the invoices, and to either the cost/operations account or the trust account. Love my fiance way more, but love this program.

Good features, room for improvement
Customer service and set up was easy enough.
It would be nice to be able to set up automatic bill reminders.
It would also be helpful to have the credit card fee, once set up, apply to the quick bill as well as the accept payment option.
Alternatively, it would be nice to be able to edit the quick bill without having to redo it entirely to reflect a "cash discount" for customers who pay with cash or check. In other words, be able to record the "actual" amount paid, without having to resend the bill to the client.
I like the integration with MyCase and fee structure, but the features above are features I miss from my old billing platform.
