The price was remarkably competitive

The price was remarkably competitive, far cheaper than the hotel's own website. An extra benefit was the inclusive breakfast and tax was also included. Paid up front to get the cheaper rate and save even more money.

Not the experience anyone should have

Everything was okay booking, checking in, etc. However, the property I booked had a serious infestation of bed bugs... they were everywhere!!! I discovered this at 1 a.m. when I awoke from disturbed sleep. The host didn't answer my calls or messages. Customer service was uselessI had to destroy every item of clothing I took into that flat, and I am having recurring nightmares. I didn't even get an apology. I was offered £20 back from the £120 it cost for 1 night - I declined this insulting offer.

UPDATE:

After following up with Rebecca from customer services, I have changed the original rating I gave. She kept me informed of the complaint process every step of the way, and also managed to secure a full refund from Booking.com. It was complicated due to Booking.com managing the booking. This 5* rating is for the customer service I was given after my complaint. I probably won't use LateRooms again, as it's connected to Booking.com, which I will avoid at all cost in the future!.

Scam company I guess?

I booked a hotel for my step daughter and I for her birthday over a month before the date. When we arrived around midnight, the hotel had no record of my booking and was full. We finally found a hotel that was available to take us in at 3am. I've sent emails, posted on their Facebook page, and LateRooms.com hasn't responded. The trip was a nightmare and cost me about 50% more due to last minute bookings.

Update: I've already sent two emails to your support email address with no reply. My itinerary number for this booking is: 9018564677321.

Pub text to cancel room, no help at all

Pub text to cancel room, as soon as the booking was made, payment was still taken though, so i asked if they could book me into another pub in the area but was told they couldn't, so now I can't get hold of anyone for a refund, wouldn't bother again, you're better of ringing places direct rather than letting these lot shaft you

This does mean we’re unable to directly move the booking to an alternative property or process a refund ourselves. Spoke to your customer adviser to cancel a booking and she had no idea ‘laterooms’ exists. Seems you are whitelabelling booking.com. I need to cancel a booking which I already have confirmed with hotel, but finding it impossible to do so via you.

Lovely stay
