Faulty Monitor Returned – Refund Still Not Received

I purchased a Lenovo C24d-20 monitor from LambdaTek. From first use, the monitor was faulty (power connection). I returned it within 30 days and provided video evidence of the fault.

Despite this, LambdaTek and their supplier have stated “no fault found” and I am still waiting for my refund. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am entitled to reject faulty goods within 30 days, but this has not yet been honoured.

I hope LambdaTek will resolve this promptly by processing my refund.

Update:
Following my return of a faulty monitor, LambdaTek have now stated that “costs” such as courier fees and supplier testing fees may be charged to me if their supplier claims “no fault found.”

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if goods are faulty within 30 days the customer has the right to reject them and receive a full refund without additional charges. Passing testing or courier fees to the customer is not lawful.

At this point, LambdaTek hold both the monitor and my payment. I have re-asserted my rights and will escalate via PayPal and Trading Standards if necessary.

03/10/25 Customer Update:
Thank you for your response. To clarify, the power cable was fully inserted during use — I am perfectly capable of setting up a monitor correctly. The issue was not loose connection, but that the monitor produced crackling noises and only received power intermittently unless the cable was physically held.

I also note your reference to “extensive correspondence.” In reality, I have only ever received updates when I chased for them.

This is why I returned the monitor under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which entitles customers to reject faulty goods within 30 days for a full refund. At this stage, LambdaTek hold both the monitor and my payment, so I am simply awaiting confirmation of my refund.

Update 14/10: LambdaTek have now refunded.

Ho acquistato una tastiera Surface Go retro illuminata oltre al prezzo imbattibile la tastiera è arrivata perfetta intatta e come da descrizione e oltre al risparmio ho trovato un prodotto che su altri marketplace non trovavo o aveva cifre astronomiche.
