The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) mandates that all hospital staff complete six hours of fire and safety training once every four years, resulting in the issuance of fire certification cards by Los Angeles City Fire Department certification. Upon successful completion of Blue Card Fire Training LA, participants will receive a BLUE Fire card, valid for four years, or a PINK Fire card, valid for two years. Awesome Class!
I had to complete my fire safety card for nursing school and was given the link to this website. The process was easy to sign up and the class was 4 hours long. But the teacher (Brian Pettit) was very good at explaining the material and even engaging the class with his demonstrations. He was also very well spoken and made the class interesting despite the long hours. I would highly recommend this class to anyone who works in healthcare or is looking to learn more about fire safety.

So great
So great! Brian was the coolest! He was so full of energy and you could really tell he was passionate about this topic. I really learned a lot. I hv been a nurse for 13 years but hv nvr worked in a very large facility so I really didnt know the intricacies of the systems that protect us daily. Brian does though and spoke (a lot) about if during our course. Thanks to him I feel safer and sharper and more able to help in a crisis. Good pricing too.

Succinct and Informative
Initially I thought this training would suck and be boring, but I was wrong. Brian is both knowledgeable and engaging! I learned a lot and took about 6 pages of useful notes. He also has reasonable prices compared to other programs. If you need a Fire safety training class take this one, you won't regret it.
