They put their staff into thousands of pounds worth of debt. £10000 for me. Then the tax hits u. Then u need a loan which they will offer. Month after month. Becuase they have done some fraud with hmrc. And then expect you to work off your loan so u can't leave. They promise you your car allowance but won't pay it. 5 months I waited. They will promise a pay rise. But not give it. They will promise a promotion and a bonus. But not follow through with their promises. They will promise ppl the same job hoping u don't talk. No pay rise in 3 years. Big pay gaps for doing the same job. Very toxic environment and worming culture. They don't care about safe sites either. Or quality of the work. And just care about the money. Avoid at all costs. They don't even pay their subcontractors they thunk they own u and the way they have delt with me is modern slavery.
KN trespass on private property
What an absolute joke these workers are! Words cannot express the sheer anger I have felt today . 1 person on our road wants to use fibrus so they must install all the houses with the boxes etc needed if they ever wanted it. Arrive this morning with no warning and start looking at my property and marking on my land , I go ask what's going on and they tell me that they are installing fibrus for one house but will be putting boxes in for each property. I go back indoors and about a half hour later I come out to bring in my washing from the back of my home, only to find a KN worker crouched behind my bin filling a bucket from my outside tap! Such a scare as I was not expecting anyone to be on my property. He stopped talking on his phone long enough to say 'just getting water' to which I replied 'It would be nice to be asked before you just come and take it' No apology just stated 'it's warm and dusty the day'
I went out in my car later that day barely able to get out of my drive because of their lorries, came home and was making plans as to what time I'd to go out again only to find the whole top of my driveway blocked with dug up road so no chance of getting my car out

Absolute numpties, to say halfwits would give them some semblance of intelligence, when they have no respect for their client (NBI) or their customers, us. Appointment was made and verified. Then on the day no show and no telephone call to cancel. Waited all day and nothing. Customer service is a joke too. They wear their contempt for us with pride.

These guys are a joke, even their own engineers slag them off. They spend their days driving round the country to install, only to land on-site and find they can’t complete their bit, something else should have been done . Customer service are very mannerly, however never call back when they say they will. I’ve asked for supervisor to call, told 24-48 hours I’ll get a call - guess what, NO CALL…

Came to install efibre and failed on 4 attempts,, 4 different crews and 4 different excuses . Everything from a lop sided pole down the road to can't find the copper wire. I'm in a semi detached house and they could install it in my attached neighbour ok but not me apparently..These guys are a disgrace. Arrive look at job then jump into their vans a feck off no explanation given...should be held accountable by Comreg, who I believe are another joke..Guess it's ireland the land of the corrupt and unaccountable.

I cannot rate it better, 2 posts and underground to reach your property. Great engineers Charlie Mc and Jason L contact us 30 minutes before arriving and took the job seriously and safe. Left the site very clean and tidy. Now we can enjoy the fast speed broadband power by NBI. Great stuff 👏

I cannot fault your service, 8 posts to our secluded property engineers here in no time to run the cable and connect our fibre broadband I never thought I'd see the day, outstanding 👏

If I could have given minus stars I would have, simply the most incompetent and least empathetic company.
8 site visits and no phone still, numberous no shows or tardiness when showed up.
Ever evolving change to plans which necessitated us excavating our drive on two occasion at own cost, only to be told that the market they sprayed to bring the duct too was not suitable and they would drill the wall where they marked and agreed to bring cable through.
Kn chose the point of entry and their technician organised his pal to do the job for cash. They have now renamed and we are 7 months without service in Dublin 18

They came to do a fibre installation on March 1st, didn't happen on the day, needs works bla bla bla. The fella who attempted to install has damaged my line ever since the day thay my broadband on the copper line has deteriorated gradually that it's on and off. No sign of works being carried out. Dreadful, maybe I'll get the work done at some point in 2023. Lucky to even get 1. Appalling, left on the back burner.

I don't even want to give them one star In Dec I got a call off Sky saying I was entitled to a fibre optic upgrade received the box 2 days later and today April 5th It still hasn't been installed they either haven't turned up for the appointments, didn't have the equipment ie a drill a specialised crew or today sending out a guy with a hoist that could only do a part of the job the specialised crew weren't provided so I am still without my upgrade

Awful customer service. The man that came for the consultation said that he would be back in 2 weeks and he never showed up until I rang again and booked another appointment for installation which ended up being another 2 weeks.
The installation process was good, the bloke was nice and friendly. However, the Internet broke after one week and it still has not being fixed - it broke nearly 2 weeks ago. Technicians have been coming and going from my house and they have being unable to resolve the issue.
Its clear that there is a management issue with KN group. Very poor for an established company.

Worst company in history, arrange a time to install the line, took the day off work, surprise, surprise no sign of them, no phone call to let me know, appointment was for 8am to 12pm rang them at 12pm and the person in the office tried to ring the install operator, no answer from them, eventually the engineer rang at 15:00hr to say he did not even know!! and that the install wont go ahead, that was the second attempt of an install, what kind of organization is this ? The biggest joke of a company

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Waiting 6 days now for a priority call over unstable internet connections. Engineer was to call between 2-5 yesterday total no show calls at 6pm to say he was delayed and wouldn't be with us before 8pm and rescheduled for this morning am no show again no one is contactable and now after 5 phone calls we are being told the service call has been pulled from the engineer without any explanation and that their planning team cannot help us as they are a 3rd party. Unable to transfer us to anyone to help. We have now lost 2 days wages over this and are again on the phone trying to contact someone who can get this sorted. We are getting 9mphs download speeds despite paying for 1000. Not the first time I've had to deal with this company I have dealt with them as a business customer as well and it is always the same story fine until something goes wrong and then your on your own AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Waited a month and a half to be connected and then when I did get a date just didn't show up! We waited all day for them! Did some fact finding: The NBI falls under the DECC, Eamon Ryan TD, contract given to Granahan McCourt with sub. contractor KN Group and 4 other sub. contractors. The management of KN Group are incompetent and lacking manpower. The engineers are continuously given new jobs even if they never finished the list from the day before, so if they don't show up you will be put to the back of the line again! The management does not care about the customers only making as much money as possible everyday! Nothing fair about it!
