We have worked with Kim and the team at Keystone Tutors for the past year, and the experience has been excellent. Kim has been exceptionally supportive and an outstanding teacher for our child. She has helped improve our child’s confidence tenfold and strengthened areas where confidence was previously lacking.

Her teaching style is friendly, enthusiastic, and engaging, which makes a significant difference, especially as many of the sessions take place online rather than face-to-face.

We would highly recommend Kim to anyone looking for a teacher who not only explains concepts clearly but also helps build a child’s confidence.

We would like to say a big thank you to Alice and Caroline for finding us fantastic tutors to prepare her for her 11+ exams and subsequent interviews, especially for making sure our specific needs are considered when selecting these fantastic tutors, for finding our tutors within days from our discussion, and alway be so speedy with their communications, as well as to address any concerns that we have, big or small.

Jack was an outstanding 13+ entrance tutor who played a key role in helping our daughter secure a place at her first choice UK boarding school, alongside several other offers from top girls’ schools. He was meticulous about spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and exceptionally thorough in closing the feedback loop across all past papers she completed. Jack also successfully brought her up to speed in Religious Studies, a subject she had no prior exposure to, enabling her to perform very strongly in the entrance exams. Beyond exam prep, he significantly improved her overall writing skills, confidence, and academic discipline.

Keystone helpfully and promptly connected us with Dr Geoff Sedlezky. He was exactly what we needed and more. He supported my son to home educate history for his last year of A level. My son got an A in History with top marks in coursework. We could not have done this without Geoff's knowledge, input and careful guidance, going above and beyond in every aspect.

I’m very grateful for the support I received from Stefan while preparing for my chemistry retake. He is a truly dedicated and thoughtful tutor who always made an effort to find the study methods that worked best for me personally. Whenever I struggled with a concept, he never just repeated the same explanation — instead, he approached it from different angles, whether through drawings, step-by-step breakdowns, or showing how the concept is applied in exam-style questions. That made a huge difference in my understanding.
His help with my Chemistry IA was especially incredible. He guided me in the right direction from the very beginning, clearly explaining each step of the process and also showing me different ways I could approach my research question. Thanks to his guidance, I was able to structure my work much more effectively and I ended up achieving a 6 on my IA, which I’m very proud of.
Although my final exam result was a 4, I truly believe this was not a reflection of his teaching, but rather the limited time we had to cover all the material in just two months. In that time, he did everything possible to help me improve and build confidence in chemistry.

Company managed to arrange Rob Mcmahon for interview prep for PPE at Oxford. Rob was very helpful in introduducing interesting topics for discussion for PPE and giving advice on how the interview would be conducted and how to relax and engage in academic discourse.

After googling HAT tuition, I spoke with a number of companies and settled on Keystones tutors because our initial conversations and follow up information were the most authentic & reassuring. Our daughter (history, Oxford) was matched with several HAT tutors whose profiles were so impressive but their individual voice came through their narrative and opting for Mike was the golden ticket! Mike’s professional manner, organisation and commitment to our daughter was exceptional. She thoroughly enjoyed their Sunday morning tutorials which were reliant upon her having completed the pre-reading organised by Mike at our initial (online) family meeting. Mike worked flexibly around our daughter’s school commitments (mock exams, cadet weekend etc) and was on hand for a third, very last minute Oxford University college interview which actually secured her offer. Given that the Oxford interviews are online, Keystones zoom teaching indirectly prepared our daughter for this; she was confident with the technology, positioning of the camera and her interaction with the interviewer (of whom there were four in her first two interviews and five in her third and final interview!). Thank you to Elena, who was recommended by Mike, to interview our daughter for another voice, perspective & experience. This process was worth every penny.

Keystone Tutoring has been an excellent find for our daughter (Year 10). We were introduced to Paige as an English tutor and Mike as a Science and Maths tutor, and the impact has been transformational.

In just a few sessions, our daughter has grown noticeably in confidence and is now starting to excel in her tutored subjects. The quality of teaching is significantly higher than what she has been receiving at school, with clear guidance on techniques and strategies to maximise results in future exams.

Both Paige and Mike took the time to understand our daughter’s individual strengths and weaknesses and tailored their lessons accordingly. We can’t recommend Keystone Tutoring, or Paige and Mike highly enough.

Stefan was a great tutor, he knew everything about biology but also about the Ib, which is something rare to find! He taught each topic with precision, using clear and effective examples to ensure my full understanding. The lessons were interactive also focusing on last papers to improve my exam technique. His use of the whiteboard method was very effective and made the online lessons feel just as engaging as a real life one. My experience was excellent, as his teaching helped me reach the level of understanding I needed. I would highly recommend him as an IB Biology tutor.

I initially started my sessions just to review my mental maths skills for my upcoming entrance exams for sixth form. However with Rishi I significantly improved both my skills in mathematics and NVR, helping me overcome my weaknesses and providing practice resources, leading me to feel a lot more confident in my abilities. I took the exam for LEH (Lady Eleanor Holles) which happened to be the same exam I'd taken before and failed at St Paul's. However this time I passed, securing a place at my top sixth form. I would definitely recommend Rishi to anyone who is seeking 16+ support.

We have used a variety of the very lovely tutors from Keystone for both our children at GCSE and A level (we've had maths, physics, chemistry, economics.....!!). Every single tutor has been great both in terms of the teaching and getting my children to a better level (and better grades in all cases) and also in terms of our son and daughter really getting on with and liking their tutors, which is half the battle. We cannot recommend Keystone highly enough.

Mr. Callum Brown was an amazing TSA tutor. Our lessons were informative and efficient, but also fun. Mr. Brown supplied me with helpful tips about how to approach questions, tracked my progress with me, and explained any questions I was unsure of. I would highly recommend anyone preparing for TSA to attend his classes.

The tutoring sessions were extremely helpful, the tutor was really knowledgeable and able to provide much help on questions I was unsure about. Not only this, the essay feedback and suggestions were detailed and key for my improvement leading up to the actual exam.

I enjoyed how Callum was explaining how to solve a question, because he made it really clear and understandable. He was really nice, polite and always listening to what I had to say. I had fun during the lessons as they where very entertaining.
