Disappointed ☹️

Used Jo Malone for years and always felt even though on the pricey side, the fragrance was worth the price. My house of which I used to live in was of a large area, when you walked in through the entrance, Lime and Basil fragrance would greet you. I’ve since moved to a cottage and am so disappointed that the fragrances appear extremely weak. I’m certainly not being greeted by this scent anymore. We spent nearly £500 on diffusers at Christmas for the family. Service was second to none, arrived the next day. I’m just so disappointed that each home I’ve purchased these for ,i cannot smell them unless you are sat close by. What have you done Jo Malone? I think I’ll be on the search this year to find something to replace.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I ordered a Christmas present on 12th December and a month later it has still not arrived. Communication has been terrible. I will never order from this company again.

St Pancras. Awful experience

I love Jo Malone and I am a very regular customer. Have been into many stores and the service has always been great. However today I went into the St Pancras store with my mum as we had some time to pass before her train. I was looking to just browse and find a new scent for my next purchase. From the moment we walked in - we were the only customers. One member of staff and one security member.

I expected a friendly greeting, and for someone to say “if there’s anything I can help you with today I’m just over here”. The store is tiny so it would have been easy for me to just shout over that I wanted some advice.

However instead the shop assistant treated me and my mum like thieves. She refused to leave us and interrupted us twice. On both occasions I said very firmly and clearly that we were just browsing. It would have been clear to anyone that I did not want advice in that moment. Even after my second attempt to tell her to leave us to browse in peace , she insisted on standing about 2-3ft away from us. Even pretended to be dusting a shelf next to us.

I have never been made to feel like that ever from being in a shop. So rude, the fact that person is trusted to be in a store on her own is disappointing as surely she will have had training from other staff on how to deliver service. If she has, then she needs training again.

Next day delivery - week later

Ordered online with fast next day delivery. Item arrived 5 days later, after multiple calls looking for it. Customer Service promised refund for delivery - month later still not received anything. The smells are nice, but experience getting it online made me never want to buy this again, and don’t recommend to anyone.

Shoved into a box with oily fingerprints

All products arrived simply shoved into a box with zero attention. The perfume bottle was full of oily fingerprints. You don't expect such a terrible unpacking experience from a "luxury" brand. Ew.
This is the second time I order from their online shop and both deliveries were disappointing.

Item Not Delivered (lost in transit)

I ordered an item on the 7th of December 2024 as a Christmas present for my wife. I still hadn't received the order by the 20th of December so I contacted the courier (DHL) who didn't even bother to reply. On the 3rd of January 2025 I contacted Jo Malone and it turns out that the item went missing in transit. I have ordered hundreds of things online without issue until I ordered something from Jo Malone - I won't be doing so again.

Beautiful fragrance only lasts 1 hour

I really loved the fragrance orange blossom by Jo Malone and I received it from my husband for Christmas- the scent was beautiful but I have never known a perfume to have such a short life time - it honestly disappeared with an hour or so literally no trace of the scent - really disappointed- will never buy again

DON'T BUY!!!!

DON'T BUY!!!!! Terrible service from someone chewing gum!!! Have been trying since 13 December 2024 to get someone to respond to me, but just keep getting the same WhatsApp message from their virtual (really non-existent) assistant!!!
Don't give this terrible company your money!!!

Purchased a beautiful mimosa / cardamom…

Purchased a beautiful mimosa / cardamom body cream in the Leicester store today ! Both ladies were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products. They were very chatty and made my experience a pleasure to be in the store !! Thank you 🙏 will definitely be returning even just to say hello !!!

Weak and changed

Worn myrr and tonks for years and last 2 bottles, more so this one is not the same. Weaker concentration and wears off not what I expect for 160 per bottle

Christmas Gift Scam

Placed order for a Christmas Gift to my wife well in time. Took forever to ship, slow delivery by DHL and when arrived empty box except for a free sample.

Jo Malone say due to out of stock. What is the reason for shipping when out of stock, should be a immediate refund!

Took forever to get any feedback and now Jo Malone will only refund provided we return the free sample sent in the otherwise empty box.

Scam company delux! What a joke!

Empty Box

Ordered a Christmas gift, delivered but nothing inside apart from gift card with what I had written, but that’s it. Called customer services who explained that this is a common issue, if out of stock in warehouse. I told my friend not to open until Christmas Day, they opened to find nothing how embarrassing, but seemingly a common issue! Why would a company pay for DHL to deliver an empty box, I am lost for words! No communication at all from them, have offered to send some soap, appalling service and soap does not rectify someone not having a gift on Christmas Day! You really need to do better Jo Malone I will not ordered again from you

Missing Item and Shocking 'Gift Wrapping'

I recently placed an order, of which I selected it be gift wrapped. However, when it arrived there was no such wrapping, instead the order was thrown in a box with some black protective tissue paper. I have emailed and apparently this is the only type of 'gift wrapping' they offer! Given this was a gift for someone, I was looking forward to some proper, presentable gift wrapping. What arrived was a total disappointment.

Also, a complimentary cologne vial was offered to me which I added to the order. However, this didn't arrive and I have now been told this is out of stock, despite it being offered to me at checkout. When the order arrived, there was no mention/communication of this being out of stock, I had to email to complain to find out myself. Rather disappointing given the high price point!

Prodotti rubati e rimborso sbagliato

Mi era arrivato un codice sconto nel periodo della black friday e ho approfittato per comprare delle candele per regalare a natale, la esperienza del shopping online è andata bene e mi hanno fatto anche scegliere dei campioncini e la box regalo di natale molto bella. Quando il pacco è stato consegnato il sigillo com l’indirizzo doveva essere incollato in modo da sigillare la scatola, invece no, è stato incollato dall’altra parte , in modo che la scatola potesse essere aperta da chiunque senza far notare… morale, mi è arrivata solo la scatola di natale regalo e i più di 100 euro di prodotti che dovevano esserci dentro non c’erano.
Già lì ero molto delusa e ho contattato il servizio clienti per farmi spedire nuovi prodotti, prima mi hanno risposto con una bugia dicendo che il prodotto non era più disponibile, quando ho detto che invece lo era mi hanno detto la “verità” che il sistema non permetteva di inviare i prodotti ma solo di richiedere il rimborso. Il mio codice sconto non era più valido e con il rimborso non avrei potuto ricomprare i prodotti allo stesso prezzo di prima, ma non avevo scelta. Una volta richiesto il rimborso ho aspettato 15 giorni e ho ricevuto solo 30% del valore che mi doveva essere rimborsato. Ho richiesto altre 2 volte e ormai è quasi un mese che non mi risolvono il problema visto che a questo punto, trattandosi di un brand di lusso principalmente, la mia richiesta a questo punto dovrebbe essere messa in priorità. MAI PIÙ JO MALONE!

Cancelled my Christmas order without informing me

Ordered a package on 16/12/24 as a Christmas present for my mother. It’s now the 22/12/24 and I’ve just tried to track my order to see when it is arriving and it’s been cancelled. Not had a single email or update informing me of this. Extremely poor service.
