This was the second Miele vacuum cleaner that I have bought from this company. The price was again very competitive. I paid extra for a fast delivery which was done as requested. The vacuum cleaner is performing well. Very happy!

It has been 2 weeks since we ordered…
It has been 2 weeks since we ordered our washing machine and it still has not been delivered. Initially there was notification of delivery at 6pm on Friday that it will be delivered on Saturday. But there was no one to contact to state we are not in o Saturday so there was a failed delivery. Ever since then whenever I ring j c campbell electrics they advise that we will get notification of delivery and I never receive it? I am lost what can be done to get the Washing machine!

With reference to your 1 Star review of J C Campbell Electrics. Please note that our term & conditions state that delivery of white goods can take 7-10 working days.
As previously advised, you did not receive the initial booking links sent by the Bosch Home Delivery Team because the telephone number originally provided to us was incorrect.
Last week, I contacted Bosch directly and supplied them with your correct contact number, requesting that it be passed on to the delivery company. When I followed this up today, Bosch confirmed that while they had a record of my contact regarding this matter, they regrettably failed to action the request and update the delivery company accordingly. They have since apologised for any inconvenience caused by this oversight.
In both of the above instances, these matters were outside of our control, and all procedures on our side were carried out as normal. J C Campbell Electrics was not responsible for any delays relating to your order.
If you have not yet received a booking link, you should receive one shortly.

Delivery problems
I rated them 2 basically due to delivery problems. I bought a Bosch fridge freezer from them and only got it after 3 failed attempts. In 2 of them they did not want to take the old fridge away claiming they did not have space in the van and also complaining they didn't know we were in the first floor and there was no lift, even though we paid for the service and we passed all this information to Campbell Electrics. The first time they also said the old fridge was wet but actually it was just a bit humid in one of the drawers because we forgot the ice pad inside. Apart from that, and after we wiped that part dry, the fridge was in perfect condition to be taken away. It had been emptied and switched off many hours earlier plus it was a frost free fridge. We realized later that this was just an excuse to not take the old fridge away. The third attempt, after again saying they did not have space in the van and some argumentation, they agreed to take the fridge away. But then we found out the new fridge was damaged. It was only in the 4th attempt that we finally managed to get the new fridge delivered. Of course, for each attempt we had to remove all the food from the fridge and freezer 15 hours before they were expected to come ( first 2 times from 7am), only to have to put all back in later, with some food being wasted. All very disruptive and frustrating. When I called the company to complain about the situation they said they would contact Bosch, which in turn would contact the delivery company, again very frustrating, so almost like it is not their fault. Basically, you buy from them, they buy from Bosch and Bosch arranges the delivery. It looks like there is a lot lost in translation there. My suggestion is that they work on their communication lines and on the delivery service. Despite all the issues and frustration, i must say that when i spoke to the company on the phone they were polite and willing to help.

This is a very crappy and fraudulent company. They first sold me a cheap vacuum cleaner. I called them after 23 days to return it, but they refused. And I am very upset and dissatisfied. In my opinion, buy more expensive than where there is a return guarantee and service. Do not buy from this company.

We strongly refute your comments describing our business as “crappy” and “fraudulent.” These statements are unfounded, inaccurate, and made without reasonable justification.
For clarity, you contacted our office today at 12:32pm requesting to return a vacuum cleaner that was delivered to you on 15/12/25. Your stated reason for the return was that you were “not happy with it.” At 3:41pm, we replied requesting confirmation as to whether the appliance was faulty or whether it had been used, as this information is essential in determining eligibility for a return.
Rather than responding to our email and allowing us the opportunity to assess your request, you chose to publish this review. As a result, you have not given us the opportunity to investigate or resolve the matter.
We must make it clear that if an appliance has been used and is not faulty, dissatisfaction alone does not constitute valid grounds for a return. This policy is consistent with consumer regulations and our stated terms of sale.
We reject the allegations made in your review and stand by the service provided.

Best price and great delivery
My order from this firm was £30 cheaper than any one else.Ordered on a Wednesday and delivered by royal mail on Friday snd this was mid December. Would certainly use this firm again
