Fantastisk service. Jeg modtog et print, som under fragt var blevet kørt over af en lastbil, hvilket gjorde at printet var smadret og rammen ligeså.
Jeg kontaktede kundeservice og modtog kort efter et helt nyt print uden ekstra betaling. Super service!!

I had originally planned not to leave a review and instead wanted to provide my feedback directly to customer support. Unfortunately, after receiving no response and finding there was no clear or accessible way to contact the company, I feel compelled to share my experience.

We received our two pieces of artwork and, unfortunately, we’re quite disappointed with the overall quality.

The resolution of the images doesn’t appear to be high enough for the size of the prints. The artwork has a noticeable fuzziness and lacks the crisp, sharp finish we expected, particularly when viewed up close. Given these are large-format prints, I would have expected the original files and printing process to produce a much sharper and more detailed result.

We’re also disappointed with the value for money. If we had paid $2,000 per piece, we would have been extremely unhappy with the quality. Even at around $1,000 per piece, we don’t feel the finished product represents the level of quality or value we were expecting.

The canvas itself is another concern. It feels quite thin and doesn’t have the substantial, premium or luxurious feel we expected from the product.

I also understand that the printing is outsourced to a third-party printer. This raises the question of how quality control is managed and checked before the finished artwork is sent to customers. With a premium-priced product, I would expect the company to have a robust quality-control process in place.

I would genuinely appreciate an explanation as to whether this is the intended quality of the product or whether something may have gone wrong during the printing or production process.

Furthermore the lack of response from customer support is disappointing . I would have much preferred to resolve this directly rather than leave a public review.

At this stage, based on both the quality of the artwork and the customer service experience, I cannot recommend the product. #JLA4505

Vi kjøpte 2 bilder av str 120*120 « Emma og Michael « fikk et bilde levert men bilde 2 ble borte på veien, kontaktet kundeservice, Maura. De svarte med engang og innen 10 dager var det siste bilde levert. Vi er meget fornøyd med måten de tok imot vår henvendelse på og underveis i prosessen. Anbefaler virkelig nettbutikken. ❤️

Not happy with the art and the customer service.
The artwork doesn't look as good as in the photos. I requested a refund, willing to return the canvas, and I have not received a response from the shop.
There is no way to contact them apart from the mail (where they don't answer the messages).

I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend Jacob Landurt to anyone looking for unique, high-quality art!! :-)

I have 2 pieces so far and I love them. They are exactly what I wanted and they look amazing in my space. I genuinely enjoy seeing them every day. Delivery was efficient and they have been framed beautifully. Cannot recommend enough. Also, such a good price for a print that is consistently a conversation starter

Mein Canvas-Print ist extrem hochwertig verarbeitet. Habe ich persönlich auf diesem Niveau noch nicht gesehen. Das gilt auch für den Rahmen (Eiche) - unfassbar wertig gemacht. Der gesamte Ablauf, mit Lieferung nach Deutschland, diversen Rückfragen meinerseits (…) war zuverlässig und unaufgeregt. Immer gerne wieder. Empfehlung.

I’m not happy with the art or the customer service. The art work has a different color / nyans than what’s shown in the photos, which is the reason for why I want to return them, it’s more green than beige in natural light. However, I’ve written to customer service several times without a reply. This makes me very frustrated since the previous reviews have been good and therefore I trusted this company, which I obviously don’t do now. Please reply to me here or any of the three emails I’ve sent, so that I can return the artwork.

Ich liebe die Bilder, die ich bisher bestellt habe. Die Rahmen sitzen perfekt und auch die Drucke auf der Leinwand sind genau so, wie im Shop abgebildet.

I had actually planned not to leave a review of my most recent order and preferred to send my feedback directly to customer support. However, as I was very disappointed with the response I received today, I have decided to leave a public review after all.
My latest buy is my second purchase from Jacob Lund, and as I am very happy with the picture I bought last year, my expectations were correspondingly high. Unfortunately, however, I have to tell you that the quality has obviously deteriorated. This only affects the frame of the picture. It is not neatly finished at the two upper edges or corners, and there are visible gaps. The picture also seems to be under tension, as the bottom left corner sticks out from the wall, while the other three corners lie flat against it. That's a shame.
At first glance, it looks very good. But on closer inspection, you can see that the workmanship is not up to standard, which does not justify the price. Unfortunately. Perhaps it was just bad luck or an exception. I hope so.
I also considered returning the picture. However, as the picture is quite large, I decided against it due to the associated costs.

The print is opaque and dull due to plastic patina placed on top. The frame is not straight so it detaches several centimeters from the wall. The frame hook was badly attached and I had to take the painting to be repaired. Its no good quality

Great customer service! My canvas arrived damaged, and they offered a 25% refund or a replacement. I chose a replacement, which unfortunately got lost, but they quickly sent another one and also gave me a 25% refund. Really appreciated their responsiveness and generosity!

Unfortunately, my review is a negative one – however, I hope that my comments will be understood as constructive criticism. If I were to rate solely based on the customer experience, 1 out of 5 stars would be justified (more on that below). That said, such a rating wouldn't be entirely fair, because I did receive what was advertised: a canvas print – nothing more, but also nothing less. For that reason, I’m giving 2 out of 5 stars.

Why does it feel like only 1 star, then? Because there’s a significant gap between what the presentation of the product suggests and what actually arrives. The detailed biography of Jacob Lund, the professional-looking images from art fairs, and the classification into categories like “New Art” and “Popular Art” – all of these create the impression that you’re purchasing genuine, high-quality art. The pricing reinforces that expectation. In reality, however, what you receive is a basic canvas print, comparable in quality to what you might find at a home decor store – only at a much higher price. Of course, the term 'canvas print' is used throughout the ordering process, and the production is also made transparent with the explanatory videos, but the premium pricing naturally leads to different expectations.

My criticism is not aimed at the art itself – artistic merit is subjective and entirely up to individual taste. Nor is it about how much someone chooses to spend on art. What I, as an art-conscious customer, would expect for a price north of €200 – or even above €500, depending on the size – is a more refined execution. For example a certificate of authenticity, a hallmark on the backside, a signature, or at least a small personal touch that justifies the price. Instead, the print arrived wrapped in a plain plastic sleeve, accompanied by a poorly folded delivery note, and packed in a roughly cut, hastily taped shipping box. The mass-produced nature of the product is apparent in every detail – and that sharply contrasts with the experience suggested by the website.

Reproductions and art editions have a long and respected tradition in art history and on the art market. What sets them apart is the intention to give each piece a sense of uniqueness and value. That’s exactly what’s missing from Jacob Lund’s canvas prints. These reproductions feel mechanical and impersonal – more like generic home decor than distinctive pieces of art.

Again: I am not criticizing Jacob Lund’s artistic work itself – but rather the mismatch between the image presented online and the product delivered. I hope that future buyers will enjoy a more refined and fitting art experience – one that lives up to the expectations set by the brand’s presentation.
