After they changed our poles my wifi has been abseloutly sh17
Progress is not always pretty
Poles and Masts installed in my area seem to be erected well, not obstructing pathways, cables strung properly, better than BT in most cases. Masts may look out of place but progress is needed in areas not supplied by Fibre broadband. I am a customer of 6G the retail side of the business and on the whole the service received from IX Wireless's infrastructure has been positive.
Not on our street
This corrupt company is trying to install vast ugly poles outside our house - without consultation . Our street will never sign up for their services, we have invisible, effective underground cables already. Funny how they donated tens of thousands to the Tory party just before they received the contract ??!! Avoid like to plague and hope they disappear to Dubai like their owner !
Morally bankrupt company blighting…
Morally bankrupt company blighting people’s lives.
At the same time giving thousands of pounds to North West Tory MPs, our local Tory MP has had £8,500.
Spread the word, vote them out.
Luckily the masts that were put up in our area were taken down 24 hours later. People rise up and don’t let them inflict this on you.
Today IXWireless arrived at the front…
Today IXWireless arrived at the front of my house and started digging a hole. When I asked what it was for I was told to erect a wooden mast for broadband. I said that I hadn't been notified of this and was told the council should have written to me. The pole is right outside my window ! I was told that the council had given permission for the pole and also had stated where it should be placed. Thank you Rochdale council. When I rang highways I was told that there had been a lot of complaints and that if I hadn't been notified then this was a planning breach and I should get in touch with the development department. Also there will be wires attaching all the poles. This is on the front of Hollingworth Lake what an eyesore. The pole is as high as the lamp posts! There aren't any notices on lamp posts informing residents that this was happening. Just been out to check pole and there is a note on the pole that has just been put up! Why can't there go underground like all the other companies?
Unnecessary, unwanted infrastructure. No consultation. No communication
This company is foisting archaic, unnecessary and unwanted infrastructure such as telegraph poles on local communities using permitted development rights introduced by the government in 2015. The internet services they propose to deliver through 6g Internet are slower and less reliable than the superior internet services already delivered in the areas they are targeting. They are installing infrastructure (masts, cabinets and telegraph poles) without community consultation and without any assessment of need for, or commercial viability of the limited internet services to be offered by 6g Internet ( both companies are owned by Cohiba).
Their letter telling me that they plan to erect a telegraph pole outside my property was hand delivered more than 14 days after the date of the letter. They have not answered their 'hot line', or replied to my voice message or email. Indeed it seems that their registered office, Ribble House, Blackburn is unoccupied. All this and much more, should be making alarm bells ring, including with those politicians receiving donations and sitting on their board.

Terrible customer service, rude receptionist, no notification ,putting poles outside residents windows, cowboy company .
Unprofessional - Avoid at all costs
Unprofessional, unethical. Using change in planning laws to erect poles, masts and other equipment directly outside residents’ homes with no consultation. Lots of donations given to MP’s. Erecting masts and poles where they are not wanted or needed. Misleading customers in to believing they are providing 6G. This company is likely to go bankrupt, as due to their dreadful reputation and unscrupulous work ethics, unlikely to get residents to sign up. They will leave their street clutter behind. Avoid this company at all costs.
Unnecessary unwanted community…
Unnecessary unwanted community vandalism. This company will miraculously go bust once the masts are put in and the liability for repair and damage comes in. They are the soon to be amputated arm of the the grossly misleadingly named 6g internet. Stay away
They claim “ The network will also…
They claim “ The network will also focus on industrial, commercial, and suburban areas that are traditionally hard to reach with a wireless connection due to environmental issues” so one has to question why they are concentrating on areas which already have numerous suppliers offering much faster speeds. Bear in mind that 6g doesn’t actually exist yet so false promises.
Dreadful company
Dreadful company, certainly don't listen to local communities!
This company misleads consumers and litters neighbourhoods with unwanted infrastructure. Steer clear of them!
This company promotes themselves as providing 6G internet (which doesn't exist). Their promotional literature and sites use the terms "full fibre", "fibre to premises", and "gigabit". It is trivial to verify that absolutely none of this is true. Their company address on all installations is an empty building, which has been verified to return mail to sender. That mail is for formal objections to their widespread littering of residential neighbourhoods with very unwelcome outdated poles, overhead wires, 60ft metal masts, and large metal ground installations. The objections of neighbourhoods are thus ignored. They spend tax-payers money (given for gigabit provision to remote areas) on non-gigabit network in areas that already have good provision. There is a scandal around the same tax-payers money having been donated to Tory MPs in areas of their installations. Everything about this company strongly tells one to steer very clear of having anything to do with them.
Cowboy outfit
These guys have been in Rochdale recently, totally unprofessional, rushing poles up without permission from local authority and making commuting in the area an absolute nightmare, blocking roads with grab truck and absolutely no traffic management, cutting through existing utilities and not taking responsibility for their actions, my whole experience of these guys is cowboys!! They may aswell have rode into town on horseback and its been going on for over a month, to say I'll be glad to see the back of them is a massive understatement
Putting poles up every where without…
Putting poles up every where without notification. Will be cables crossing streets. Loosley indicating 6G. Would need a receiver on your roof. Would rather use a pigeon to send and receive messages. Why are Sky going away from dishes?
This company are a joke
This company are a joke. No consultation with residents when they say they have. No answers to complaints. The metal monstrosities are a disgrace
Wooden poles are an eye sore put in…
Wooden poles are an eye sore put in random places such as the middle of the pavement can’t even get past with a double pram unless walking on the road. Hope you go bankrupt as I won’t use your tin pot backwards company. Why not put cables underground like the big players in this industry
Devastating Monstrosities
If I could score minus points then I would. IX Wireless putting up ugly monstrous masts that are industrial size which in my area has been placed less then 1m from the gable end of a residential property straight facing the window view of another house. We were not aware until the poles and mast wentup. We are a terraced house area with great Internet access already and really don't need nor want additional Internet services of this infrastructure is required. The address that IX Wireless have put on their masts to lodge objections has also been shown by Sky News to be an empty building. This whole operation really unsettles me and the equipment installed looks more akin to an industrial park than a residential area you are supposed to enjoy living in. The area looks and feels horrible. If I could afford to move away from Bolton now I would go in a heartbeat.
Ugly unwanted monstrosities
Ugly unwanted monstrosities that have no benefit for a built up area like Bolton, speed or cost wise.
